Carl does great work. He cleaned and resurfaced the Volvo cylinder head I bought him quickly and at a great price. Plus he is just an all around nice guy!

Carl (Dover) is the real deal - old school hands-on automotive machinist with expertise and experience from race cars to pickup trucks. He loves what he does and it shows in the quality of his work. On top of that, hes a SUPER nice guy. I brought him a challenging problem (that honestly other shops that I called wouldnt even touch) and he came up with a simple solution and got my parts fixed up while I waited! Calling all gearheads - its our job to keep these honest and increasingly rare trade-smiths in business. When theyre gone, were screwed!

I dropped off a cylinder head and some more parts for cleaning and he said he would have them ready in a weekend days which I think is more than fair
