I had a great experience with Safelite, Estevan was kind and worked quickly, he even cleaned up with paper towels in all areas he touched which seemed very thorough. He was thorough in explaining protocol before leaving. I had mobile service and they fixed it right at my house while I was working. I scheduled directly through my insurance Progressive who has a partnership with Safelite. Scheduling was easy and clearly outlined the costs for me under my plan. They have great communication, confirmation email, texts, reminders, let me know when they started/finished. I would recommend and I will use again!

Staff is professional and polite. I came in to get a chip replaced and was able to schedule online for an appointment less than a week out at a very convenient time for me. The text alerts were also helpful and did a good job of keeping me alerted without being annoying. They were also pretty busy and I was in and out in under a hour. Overall Im pretty satisfied with the service and the experience.

What a SCAM! Got a quote for a 2015 Hyundai windshield replacement which started at $354, then went to $430, and is now currently $862!!! Another local shop quoted me $226. I have found NO WAY to cancel online or via phone. When you call, the automated system tells you all scheduling is done online and hangs up on you. Do yourself a favor and call around before trusting Safelite.

Ive gone in twice now to replace my windshield. The first time they called back and let us know that they needed to order new clips for the windshield and that they would call us back when they had got them. They never called back, we waited a week for their call and nothing. I called them instead and scheduled for today at 10am. Brought the car in, right at 10 and was told the windshield would be done in an hour to an hour and a half. I was told that they would call when it was done. At around two hours, since they still hadnt called, I called them instead. They picked up to tell me that they bought the wrong clips and once again, my windshield has not been replaced. It took two hours and I had to call to find out that they didnt even replace the windshield at all. That message should have been relayed as soon as they found out they had the wrong hardware. I shouldnt have to call to get that information two hours later. I could have picked my car up and gotten the service done elsewhere in the time it would take for them to actually call me back.

Worst experience with auto glass replacement! Window received broken, notified upon arrival, after new glass arrival Mobile service was not an option I would have had to call the location in service area - that location would have to reorder the glass, next appointment was almost a week away- then arrived for appointment at 11am, upon my return at 12pm, vehicle was just going in for repair.Not sure if all locations are like this but this was my experience.

Please know you dont have to use the recommended repair shop by your insurance company. Its AZ law. Dontbe scared off when your insurance tells you all the bad things that can happen if you don’t use their shop. Read reviews. Most shops guarantee their work. One review says this one does not. Call other shops. They will help with your claim. There is mobile calibration. A shop in Chandler has it. The shop has 270 reviews with 5 stars average on Google. As for this shop, I was sitting in the lobby for 30 minutes waiting. 3 customers came in to complain their windshield was installed incorrectly. Same complaints listed on the other reviews a missing clip, a camera falling off and one who had her windshield repaired by the mobile service and it was noisy. As well as an over heard phone call where the receptionist was apologizing for damage to a car saying corporate would contact them for reimbursement. So when the tech came to tell me they ordered the wrong windshield after having a week and a half to order the correct one, I decided they cannot be competent. The poor tech kept trying to get the office people to help and they wouldnt even look at him. If the employees including the manager, dont even respect each other, do you think they are going to respect you or your car? I took it as a sign. Id rather choose my own shop. I dont have the time to have repairs corrected or worse yet repair damage to my car.

They do not recalibrate the windshield sensor on Tesal model S cars. They also dont tell you that before they bring it in. Prepare ahead and schedule you tesla appt at the same time.The rep who called to reschedule the initial appointment set by Geico some how called my Mother in law...she is not even on our insurance (explain that)!?The waiting room was clean although there were two mosquitos flying around in there. The bathroom was very clean and nice considering its unisex.The workers were all friendly and had great customer service! I would recommend them to those who dont have a tesla.

Do not expect timely service. I normally go through a different company (third party) but decided to try out Safelite since it was cheaper. I scheduled an appointment at 0800 for a windshield replacement as well as a recalibration since my car has ADAS. They stated it would take 2 hours (in the past 2 hours has been accurate). At 1001 I get a texted stating they just now started on my car. At 1248 I checked the tracker they provide and it stated “service complete” but I still had not received an email or text from Safelite. I tried calling and kept getting a robot. I decided to drive down and ask how much longer and find my car sitting out in Big Five’s parking lot. I talk with the front desk lady and she said it would be about “30 more minutes” to which I see I man go out and grab my car. I wait. After 26 minutes they then call me staying their equipment cannot locate the camera and now they have to use different equipment which is now going to take another hour. What is the point of scheduling an appointment time if they don’t even start till two hours later? What is the point in giving an estimated time of two hours when the it took 6 hours! What a complete waste of time.

Infuriating experience at this location today. We made an appointment for a windshield install. Got several text confirmations. Dropped the car off and took an Uber home because they said it would be a couple of hours and they didn’t want us waiting. We come back three hours later and the broken windshield is still in the car. Apparently the glass was not delivered on time and the incompetent woman with a bad attitude who checked us in didn’t check on it before she had us drop the car. She then didn’t bother to call us that the car wouldn’t be fixed today. Needless to say… I’ll never go back.

Nice people. First windshield wouldnt hold my rear view mirror. It kept falling off. On the first review mirror repair attempt they cut my steering wheel with a razor blade. Then left the razor blade on the floor. That didnt fix work. So they gave me a new windshield. Mirror stays. But there is now terrible wind noise coming from the window. They tried to fix the leather steering wheel. But its still damaged. I understand things go wrong. But we are on the 2nd windshield. And now have a completely different problem.

I wanted to give them 5 stars, as I had used them exclusively for the past 7 years, but I couldnt because of the way I was treated! Before my last installation, their technician installed my windshield improperly and now the rubber/cowl parts had to be replaced. They said i took it some other place and so they wouldnt pay for the replacement. I had the documentation from Geico to prove my case. To make a long story short, I dealt with 5 different employees, all of which told me I would get a call back....only 1 came thru, after she came back from a month long hiatus. They were accusatory and just plain unreliable! I will reconsider my next choice when it comes up again. PS: The tech who finally did the work did a great job from what I could determine.

Got a chip in my windshield yesterday around noon. Called my insurance company (Progressive) and they set up an appointment for me at 5:00 the same day at Safelite on Arizona Ave. I arrived early, and they took me right in. The lady at the reception desk was super friendly and helpful. Repair was completed within about 30 minutes, and they did a fantastic job! The starburst was almost completely gone, and will not be a distraction while driving. Customer area at the facility was clean, roomy and comfortable. Best of all, it was free, thanks to an agreement between Progressive and Safelite. My experience could not have been any better. Thank you, Safelite!

I have had 2 windshields replaced here since November. One their glass and the 2nd less than a week ago OEM glass. I already have a chip and Safelite instead of repairing for free as other companies do their policy is not help the customer like SafePro would and repair for free. It’s been less than a week since the last installation. Customer Service was mediocre with my experience. I have made complaint with USAA as this is their recommended partner. Will be taking my family’s business to SafePro for chip repair and for any further glass issues. So dissatisfied with Safelite and their BS policy and weak customer service. Go to SafePro! They actually care about customers and service. Safelite could care less. Hope this helps

I walked in 30 minutes prior to my appointment and what seemed to be the receptionist was busy with another customer so I waited to speak with someone. What seemed to be one of the managers had asked if I had been help and I let him know I was there for my 3:30 appointment and that I hadn’t been helped. He pulled out a printed out packet and asked if the appointment was for a car that wasn’t mine. So I corrected him and he scoffed at me and told me to take a seat. They’d have a technician to get my keys soon.I sat down in the lobby and watched the 3:30 appointment that they had asked me about check in and was serviced as I was waiting, without any acknowledgment that I was still waiting. From there, I also watched the 4:00 PM appointment be checked in and had his keys taken to be serviced.Nobody spoke with me past telling me to take a seat, nor to tell me whether or not my appointment hadn’t shown in their system, they were waiting for a technician, or if they had forgotten about me altogether. I ended up going onto my phone, rescheduling the appointment, and walking out. I have never felt so disrespected by a company that is prided in quick and friendly service. The only reason I’m only even staying with this company for my windshield to be repaired because it is already linked to my claim with my insurance. I am incredibly disappointed with the way this situation was handled and am not looking forward to having to deal with it again next week.

This place was awesome. I called to get in earlier...no answer...5 minutes later Mary.called me immediately...she went way out of her way to help us and they got us in early. Mark followed the same awesome service training. The shop was impeccable ..from the coffee to the restroom. And the shop was so clean it was unbelievable . Three prominently displayed flags the American, Arizona and Safelite. I was also impressed with the fact that the shop area was fully closed and was air-conditioned for the employees...to top it all off they cleaned all our windows. One of the more impressive operations I have seen. Please, thank you...would you like water or coffee and so on...what a customer service program. Hope not to have another problem but if I do I know directly where to head.

These guys were awesome. The staff at the front were very friendly and checked me in right away. My technician Chris walked me out to the car, inspected the damage, and gave me a realistic estimate of a completion time. Everything went smoothly. At check out Chris noted that the new windshield had a smudge on it that he wasnt satisfied with and if I wouldnt mind could I come back in a week or so to replace it for free. No problem. Came back again, put in another windshield, and again everything went perfectly. Great staff, great service, and a big shout out to Chris for being extremely customer experience focused. I will definitely recommend this location to friends and family.

I have an ADAS car. At a local place they did a trick where they kept it hooked up so it wouldnt need re-calibrating and then put in FUYAO glass. While it wasnt bad, it was a little off. Safelite put in Honda glass and did a great job calibrating it.They even bothered to re-attach my oil change reminder sticker. They did a good job of minimizing contact per COVID-19 guidelines.

We waited two months for our glass for our Tesla Model S and arrived the morning of our confirmed reservation day only to find that they had installed our windshield into another car. Their reply? Well do the best we can. In other words, they dont really care about my concerns nor do they intend to work to resolve the issue other than order another and make me wait again.Also note - the replies by the owner are all pretty much sorry, not sorry. No real apology, no real justification or remediation for issues, just we try to provide quality service. What a load.

I had an appointment for October 5th between 11:30am and 4pm at my place of work. I was sent a confirmation email the night before saying my technician would contact me the following day when they’re on their way. The next day I never got a call or text from a technician and no one came to replace my windshield. I tried to contact their customer service but no one is taking calls right now so I messaged them and still haven’t gotten anything back 24 hours later. I resorted to their online chat and DMing their Twitter, both of which were useless. The only thing that came from it was having someone cancel my appointment (that never even happened) and no one getting back to me. Excellent service! I had an appointment to replace my cracked windshield. It was super easy in and out with no paperwork, and my car was finished about 30 minutes ahead of the estimated time. I am super happy with the service and the technician, Nathan, was polite and professional. They even vacuumed the drivers area so my car was cleaner leaving Safelite than when I brought it in. I will definitely come back if I ever need windshield repair in the future! Also, the waiting area was very clean and neat, guest wifi allowed me to work on my laptop while I waited, coffee and bottled water are provided for customers.

Last time I had a crack, they werent able to fix it completely but it did end up leaving better than it came in. I scheduled a windshields replacement and camera calibration on Saturday May 30th 2020, I scheduled the appointment through my insurance company Geico. My appointment was at 3 pm and i dropped the car off at 2:50 pm since they told me it would take almost 2 hrs with calibrations and I didnt want to wait in the lobby. About 45 minutes after I left I received a call telling me that they did not have the correct calibration tool to perform the calibration and would have to bring the car back on Monday. I was confused to why they would let me schedule the appointment for that day if they didnt have to tools to complete the job but I said OK I will swing buy and get my car. After talking to my fiance I called back and let them know if I can just leave the car and pick it up on Monday once they completed the work. They said that would be okay and they would also re-tint my windshield visor tint on the new windshield for the trouble. I said okay and hung up the phone. On Monday I had to call them to ask when my car would be ready, It was around 3:00 pm when I called and they said I would be able to pick it up around 3:30. I said okay and arrive around 4:00 PM to pick up the car. They said they had no trouble with the calibration and didnt know why it wasnt done on Saturday, I believe it was a different tech that worked that day. Once I got in the car I realized that they didnt even do the tint like they said they would. I was like forget it, It wasnt worth anymore of my time. This is not the first time I had problems with this place. In January I had to replace The same windshield, I dropped the car off and 1 hr later they said they couldnt find the windshield. I had to leave my car overnight so they could get a new windshield and also had to miss some time from work the next day to pick up the car. Unfortunately this is the place Geico makes me go to but I will be choosing a different location in the future.

Poor workmanship... Sounds like I have a window down. Adhesive not cleaned off paint .. drop off service left me without a vehicle for 8 hours..... how is that possible? Technician scheduled a few weeks in advance on a WFH day with a window from 6am-10am. No technician phone calls or contact attempts. Gave him the benefit of the doubt and gave him an extra few hours, still nothing. No phone contact info provided by safelite via multiple confirmation emails, etc so reached out to a nationwide call center number. They were unable to contact the technician assigned on multiple attempts. Happy to cancel my appointment and send my business elsewhere to receive the proper expected attention.

Too bad there is no 0 stars available because this windshield replacement was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. It is now May and my windshield was “replaced” back in February. They did such a terrible job and had to reschedule 3 different times. My windshield was not installed correctly and when I called three times, including one time I had corporate call, no one answered. To top it all off the guy who installed it somehow managed to crack the top of my dashboard. My car isn’t even a year old so that made me really happy. Corporate told me just to bring it in and have them fix it. They gave me so much grief while there and pretended that they could hardly hear the wind whistling through my windshield. All they did was press on the windshield and said there was nothing wrong and I should take it home. I rescheduled at a different safelite and they immediately knew there was a problem and fixed it right away. Do yourself a favor and skip this safelite or suffer with windshield that a toddler could have installed better.

Their way of doing business is despicable.They refused to provide mobile services with an excuse of calibrating the camera which must be done at their shop 14 miles away. Either they knew they are incapable of doing so and hid it, or they did not which is very unprofessional.Used Uber and left the car with them, the tech again DID NOT tell me he won’t be able to finish the job, after paying Uber again to pick up the car, then the tech told me the truth that they do not do calibration at their shop.Now, I will waste another day of work to take the car to the dealer to finish the job and reinstate safety back to the car. The dealer asks for payment and I have to fill out papers to get reimbursement from the insurance.

The next day, I get a car wash like they said I could and I notice the passenger’s side side roof rubber strip is missing. They never put it back in place. It could have poured rain that night/day and who knows what damage could have been done to the inside of my car.

Took a day off to get my Winshield replaced had an appointment between the time of 11:00-3:00 it’s 3:30 and still no safelite called the company and they said they had a tech that called in sick but I received no courtesy call but they claimed they called me yesterday which was Sunday and left a voicemail I’m sorry I have smart phone and I did not receive that call. Upset customer.

I have used this location a few times in recent years with no complaints for both replacements and repairs. So when I needed glass service again, I felt comfortable returning with the knowledge that I would receive the same quality of service as before...WRONG!Instead of owning up to internal mistakes of replacement tint and windshield quality, they instead chose to lie to me.Just tell me your tint installer was not scheduled properly rather than telling me it could not be done the same day as I have had at this location in the past.Just tell me you only sell Chinese glass with Geico rather than giving me a Chinese name and telling me it is made in America.Maybe, stop telling your customers it is their fault for dialing the branch number and having it roll to another location.Perhaps the review trend of past customers at this location having terrible recent experiences is the new normal service??You may be Geicos preferred glass company but I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.Please do not respond to this post apologizing for my poor experience as you have several others, instead I would recommend altering how your company is treating their customer base to prevent this type of review in the future.

Originally tried to schedule and appointment on May 19, was told since it is a work vehicle and that it is rarely in the same place 2 days in a row that I could call and change to location no problem. Went to change to location and that happened to push the appointment out til June 8th. When the came out to replace the windshield, we were told that the ordered the wrong windshield and that they MIGHT be able to squeeze me into a shop on Tuesday, now they are saying that it wont be done till Thursday. There is no reason a national glass company with as many locations as that have on why it would take almost month to get a windshield replaced. Needless to say we are picking up the van without the windshield being replace and going with a company who actually cares about customer service. Though out the ordeal no apologies were given or sorry for the inconvenience. NEVER AGAIN.

In and out experience... Very friendly staff. Theres coffee and some snacks for you when you wait..The experts explain to you the work done and the possible issues and at the end there chips were near to unrecognizable... 👌🏾👍
