The employees are incredible! The store lacks a fabric isle! Their website says they are the cheapest when it comes to fabric... but, all they stock at this location are pieces for quilting. I needed yards! It was very clean and employees were constantly cleaning and offering assistance in finding other materials I needed.

Michaels is overpriced and i wish thet had better fabric options. but they have a great variety for other crafts so im giving it four stars

I came in with some questions about sewing buttons on dress slacks, and a friendly associate named Cindy was very helpful. She was quite busy working on one side of the store, but she went out of her way to guide me over to the sewing accessories and even educated me on the different types of threads and needles. Thanks so much for the help Cindy! 10/10 would recommend

Found what I was looking for. Not very familiar with this location so it took me a bit to find the section (or an employee to ask directions) but no one was in line at checkout, and that is a first. In and out fairly quickly.

I used their website to order some items to pick up at the store.It was very easy to place my order and I was also able to use a coupon.If you get it in before their cut-off time, you can pick it up the same day. They send you an email when it is ready to pick up. The Chandler store also called me to let me know I could come to get it. They have special parking if you just want to drive up and wait in your car for them to bring it out to you or you can go inside and get it. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

Michaels always has everything that I need for painting, jewelry, even baking. This is my go-to place and theyre always having sales on something. I love it.

Terrible customer service. Made my 8 yo feel bad for saving up some silver coins to pay for a cheap item. The lady complained the entire time in front of my kid about counting 8 dollars in change because she was struggling mentally to count out nickles, dimes, and quarters. She then proceeded to call out on the intercom that she needed back up because someone was paying with change. There were 2 people behind us and she made it take longer than it should have. I complained on a survey and the manager offered a $10 coupon, but my kid still would rather not go there because she is embarrassed. She started that Sunday happy and left there feeling down. So much for teaching your kid the value of money.

Love this store 💜💜 and can so easily spend money I shouldnt and get so many crafty ideas when Im walking around browsing and looking around!!!

Great store and helpful staff! They have a ton of art supplies as expected however there are some areas of the store with empty shelves but as someone who works stock I understand shipments are funky right now!

The Clearance section here usually has a good selection of stuff, its kinda messy like any other Clearance aisle, but its pretty easy to rummage through stuff. I just picked up an artists loft marker set for 50% off! They also have lots of cool beads and charms, but the ones on strings are kinda organized weird, its color coordinated but sometimes I get annoyed bc theres some black on one wall and more that I could easily miss all the way down and on the other side of the aisle. So if u need just a few strings of cool beads for something, Id recommend going to hobby lobby instead, its a more refined, organized, selection and the ratio of total to cool/cute beads is better than michaels lol.

I really like this store. They seem to have enough stock on hand and the store is clean and the employees are friendly. I like their in-store pickup option too.I always use a coupon, and take advantage of their seasonal promotions, for example right now (March) they have 40-50% spring decor.Its located right next to the Loop 101 freeway, which makes it easy to overlook.

Update: 10/27/21They have restocked and the store had a huge clearance section. The Halloween decorations were really good this year. So good theu sold out of what I went back for 😕. Staff is friendly clean and the craft classes are great for kidsThis location is alright. This location recently got rid of so much. The sticker selection is sad. And half the time they dont have what youre looking for. I gave 4 atars for friendliness, clean location, welcoming staff.

Kind of found what we needed. I forgot how specific the store is which is not a bad thing since we have too many box stores that offer a little of everything. No one asked us if we needed help despite how many laps we took around the store looking for the items in our list so that was really the only disappointing thing.

Workers are friendly and helpful, the store is usually pretty clean as well. Things seem to be stocked a good amount too!

First time here looking for pieces to use in making some jewelry. I will be back for sure. Made a choker for my Grandson with an Elk Ivory I wrapped and some misc beads and leather from Michaels. And some quick jewelry for my wife.

I am quite pleased with the effort put forth by the staff here. I was gifted a Cricut that was purchased here, unfortunately it was missing some items. Although I had to take an extra trip to get the missing items, their customer service was impeccable. Before arriving I spoke with Sierra who insured my issue would be resolved. While waiting for her help (because she was working with another customer- yes I was listening in and she was doing her best to help this customer too), Alexa took ownership and stepped right in to help me. The teamwork they shared to make sure their customer’s needs were met is something you don’t see very often. For that, I recommend you shop here. Both ladies were very helpful and I couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you again for maintaining professionalism and exponential customer service. Happy crafting!

First visit to thisss location. I was picking up a few supplies for my new painting hobby. Everything was well organized and the aisle were clearly labeled.... Ill be returning as the grands come visit, for our projects.

I went a little after 8 pm and they closed at 9 pm so I had a little time. There were 2 employees that asked me over and over if I needed help. Folll⁵The one girl literally started following me around telling me what time it was and how much time I had left before close. It was really rude and very offensive.

Always love going to Michaels its like the arts & crafts version of Home Depot. This is the only location I visit for several reasons and the only negative thing I can say about this store is that the craft paint section is usually quite empty. Im always able to find the color I need but typically not in the brand or price that I like.

If youre bored and looking for something to do with your children or friends, go to Michaels, walk every aisle (it will only take 10 minutes), Debbie on a craft/project that should fun. Turn the screen off and have fun being artsy and creative.

Cmon Youre a good go to crafts & fix it & idea place for Chandler, stay open, create Brilliance for Your Faithful Consumers and Empower New Consistent Consumers. There are Items I enjoy but such a Skeleton Crew, its difficult to get answers many times. As a Disabled person clearer paths & Ilses would help too. Great store to get the best Art supplies

Was browsing around looking at the clearance items they have right now. I wasnt in a hurry so I was taking my time and intended on buying a few things. One of the employees must have been convinced I was going to try and steal something because she was everywhere that I was and if I looked up....there she was just staring right at me. I wasnt doing anything unscrupulous but eventually I got tired of her staring into my soul so I bought my scrapbooking paper for .85 cents total and left. Chill out lady I was just looking around, theres alot to see. My cashier was friendly and definitely made the difference from a 2-star to a 3-star review.

I brought in my scratch off map of the world and asked if they were able to add a back onto it, like a poster. I asked the framing department and they informed me that they couldnt do it. The associate then brought me over to the poster section and pointed out essentially a spray can of glue and foam poster board. She informed me that this combo would work out fine. This destroyed my map that was a gift from my family, and I am not pleased with the service that they provided for this.

Love Michaels stores but this location is kind of small and has a very limited selection compared to their larger store locations.

One of the workers insulted me 3 different times by implying that I could not afford to buy the things i needing to get for a project I am working on.

I had an unfortunate experience at this Michaels location tonight. The female manager working on Sunday, 25 Nov, between 7-8pm at the Chandler location (285 N. Federal St.) does not understand customer service.I went to the framing section and waited while she helped another customer. After 15 minutes, the other customer walks away and so does the employee. She never came back! I wait another 5 minutes before another employee shows up to assist the line of customers waiting (me plus two others). At some point, the manager should have called for the second employee to come assist with customers, or at the very least COME BACK. Im stunned that she just walked away from a line of customers at the framing section like she didnt care. The second employee was very helpful and polite when she came out.After settling on my frames and matting, I decide to use an online code for the matting to get 40% off. The system wont let me add 3 pre-cut mattings to my online cart because it says there is not a sufficient quantity at this location. I PHYSICALLY HAVE THEM IN MY BASKET. I ask the manager (the same apathetic employee that ignored the line of customers waiting at the framing section) about it. She checks her inventory system and tells me that they only have 2 in stock. I show her all 3 and ask her how to fix this discrepancy so I can buy all 3 at the 40% off price. She says that she cannot sell the 3 online because the system is inaccurate and tells me to go to a different store. I ask if I can purchase all 3 now (in store) and just have them manually honor the 40% off. She again says no.Im so disappointed that this is the leadership that represents the Michaels team. Save your time (and sanity) and shop elsewhere.

This Michaels was the only one that had both Art Philosophy watercolors. They were efficient, and using the curbside pickup was great.

Michaels is ok. Usually have what you need. However, loved it when all the stores had a custom floral arranger. The really good arrangers made simply beautiful things for table top, doors, etc. This seems to be a thing of the past. Now everything is bulk & basically the same. Probably all shipped from Asia.

Standard craft store, no frills about it. Clean, and a tad difficult to get to for the corner its on. Perhaps need a few more people working as there was one person up front handling both the register and pick up orders.

I like this place but people move items to the wrong area, apparently a lot. So when you get to the register it rings up triple the price. They seems to know this is happening but wont honor the price. Thats discouraging and I wont be returning to any locations. I like their items but to know that the prices are wrong and not attempt to honor or update...

Better better better I bought calligraphy pens and metallic markers and one of the markers and the pack was messed up so when I went back they let me exchange a single out for it.
