Love this hardware store. They are so helpful and can advise you on your diy projects.

All of the employees at this location are so helpful! If one person doesn’t know how to help, they will help you find the right answer. I love never guessing if I’m getting the correct information from these wonderful folks.

I was very impressed. I went as a first time customer to get some potting soil, and the atmosphere was very down to earth and friendly. Bill was so helpful and kind to me, he made me feel right at home. I will definitely keep shopping here from now on. I was also excited to see that they offer custom paints.

Store had the wrong price prominently displayed on outside chairs. I went to purchase them and was told that was not the right price. They did not honor the price posted and were rude about it. This is the first time Ive ever been in the store that didnt honor the price they had posted. Now I will spend the next 2 years telling everyone I know about their poor customer service.

I was looking for hardware to fix my shed door. Stopped at Ace, spent a few minutes looking for ideas and purchased what I needed. I was asked if I needed assistance as well. Courteous, knowledgeable, personal attention and a quick checkout keeps me going back to Ace.

As cliche as it sounds, they truly are friendly and helpful. I just bought an old house, and Im keeping this Ace in business single handedly ;). Thankful for their knowledge!

I waited 15 minutes to be helped on the Stihl aisle to buy a blower and was told if you dont see it here we dont have it. He didnt even know what model I was talking about when I asked about it; I had to explain it to him. I find that hard to believe its out of stock as I can buy the product online as a pickup same day at this location, whats the difference of buying it online to pick up in store versus just going straight to the store to buy it? The employee was not very informative about if there would be more in stock or not and at what time, he didnt try to help any more than what he could minimally muster. I went somewhere else and was helped immediately by some of the best staff Ive encountered. This Ace isnt so much the helpful place as it once was not so long ago.

Employees are very friendly. Love how it reminds me of when my dad (home builder) used to drag me along to the hardware store.

Fairly typical for an ACE Hardware. Small town feel with customer service superior to the chains. Prices are a bit higher than the chain stores, but if youre looking for a hardware store that will treat you like a neighbor, then this is the place you want to go.

Service terrible! Asked for help with bird seed that was advertised, young man said yeah uhhhh IDK, look thru in those green co trainers maybe in there. I had to climb over green storage totes filled with items that probably shouldve been put away.I found what I wanted 2- 12lb bags of bird seed, I carried w/ my purse, and I decorative item for the bird seed and seven dust.NOT 1, NO NOT 1 YOU G MAN OFFERED TO HELP GET MY SOMETHING G TO CARRY ALL THAT OR RAKE IT TO REGISTER FOR ME.I SHOULDVE WALKED OUT BUT I NEEDED THE BIRD SEED AND ACE NORMALLY HAS THE BEST PRICES, AND QUALITY FOODS. ILL NOT GO TO THIS ONE EVER AGAIN!!

Refused to return an item well within 30days... Reported to cooperate.

Mr. Bill was extremely helpful! I stopped in to get a ball mount and he went the extra step to walk outside with me and make sure it fit. Give that man a raise!

Favorite ace location ive been to so far. Close to home. Friendly employees. They can be a bit overbearing but eager to help. Prices are sometimes steep but overall a great place for everyday home improvement items.

Nice store good prices..

Went in on a Saturday at 12:30. Place not busy. I counted 15 employees with red Ace vests on compared to 4 actual customers. I went completely around this store 3 times looking for what I was hunting. No one offered help but they did notice me because one followed me around. A canvas tool bag shouldn’t be hard to find. At the end of my 3rd lap a guy who was putting together a grill tried to help me and took me to the toolbox/bag location. Kid assigned that area was playing on his phone and hadn’t moved since I entered store. I’ve shopped here in the past and try to shop local and away from big box stores. But this is the last time I’m going out of my way here. No sale today (or future either).

Nice layout and great products, unfortunately the last handful of times I have been in the store and had questions it seemed like I was bothering the staff. I came in with all Intentions of buying a $800 grill today, but stood around for 10min waiting for someone to come assist me so I left and purchased elsewhere.

Right around the corner so its more convenience.. so I could pay for it with prices being higher.. and its been awhile since Ive been there ...the store has definitely changed

If you dont need lumber and big project materials why are you still going to lowes. Ace is great. Their staff is extremely helpful. You can get anything do it yourself or just common nuts and bolts and hardware. They have a tool selection and gardening supplies. Plenty of things you may need for home improvements. Yard maintenance is a strong point for them as well. Avoid the long lines and crowds at lowes and the generally higher prices and shop at Ace. Ace rewards is worth it too. Look out for coupons and specials and you can save yourself a lot on saw blades and caulk and household cleaners and chemicals.

What hardware store closes at 6?!? Some websites say it closes at 9, this website says it closes at 7 but they shut their doors at 6 sharp. Walk up at 6:03 needing something for a project? You get turned away. I used to swing by here on the way home from work because its convenient and I didnt mind paying a little bit more than Lowes for the convenience, from now on Ill just drive the two minutes out of my way to get the lower prices at Lowes until midnight

The service at this Ace Hardware is terrible. The older white man that works there on Saturdays is a rude jerk. Two wasted trips. The first time he basically told me he was busy. The second time he pointed to a different customer and just walked away. He never came back. Bad attitude, no help. Gave up on this toxic place. My analysis of this dysfunctional store is to avoided. It is Less than awful. Stay away.

Ace Hardware of Cayce is a great place to get the hardware you need. They carry great brands that will last if you care for them. The staff has always been extremely helpful. They carry Stihl tools, too.

I have had pleasant experiences each time I have shopped here. The staff was knowledgeable and eager to assist me. The low traffic experience is a welcome changeup from the big box stores.

I recently visited this Ace Hardware and simply asked if they carried a particular product to which an older white male yelled that we dont carry everything in this store after rolling his eyes and sighing deeply. He was needlessly rude and I will never spend a penny in this or any Ace Hardware ever again.

I like going here for small hardware or quick little items I need fast (I live closer to Ace than Lowes). Always nice people that help me out. Only reason for 4 star is they close at 6. I’m on my way home at 5:30 like most people so I am basically forced to go to Lowes or HD if I need something after work. I think this place would see more business if they stayed open later. Just my two cents.
