I hate doing this to a company, but after the way I was treated, unfortunately they deserve all of this review. I was referred to this company because I had an 8ft long mirror I wanted installed in my gym. I was told after I called that I someone would get back to me. I was text by Bob who gave me a price for install. I asked when it could be done and was given the old cable window of between 9-12. This is my business and not my home so I had to rearrange my schedule to make sure I was in the business to receive the technician. By 1pm I was yet to hear from anyone after I had text bob twice (once at 10:30 and second time at 12.) Had to call the office where I was told “communication is a real problem with their techs and they apologized no one communicated with me” I explained how unacceptable this was and that now I was behind my personal schedule. I was told a tech would call me ASAP. They did and told me they could be there in an hour. What choice did I have? My day was already ruined and the only way it could be worse was to be ruined and not have my mirror installed. But that’s exactly what happened. Because when the techs finally showed up 2 hours late with zero care or even an apology, they asked me if I had the hardware to mount the mirror. No guys, I don’t..that’s why I hired you. Is it too much to ask for a company to show up on time and with the required tools to complete the job? I gave the specs of the mirror for the initial quote. After more fumbling in their truck and again no apology, I was told they couldn’t complete the job and that they would have to come back. When? They didn’t know. So I called the office and voiced my displeasure yet again. Hardly an apology or any urgency to make this right was given but simply was told they would order a part and come back in 2 days between 2 and 4. Most people would say thanks but no thanks by now, but I love punishment so I accepted the appointment but didn’t rearrange my schedule this time knowing that I’ll most likely be disappointed. And surprise surprise…30 minutes before my 2-4 window I was told they wouldn’t make it to me today and they could come back in 5 days. Sorry Ace glass this isn’t how you treat customers. You ruined my day, you have caused my other projects to be delayed, your technicians have zero customer service skills and you should try better to correct customer issues when things don’t go as planned.

I had a tempered glass door on my fireplace that broke and they were able to make me a pair that was an exact match to what I had. Very pleasant, courteous and great customer service skills. I would definitely recommend using them. I definitely will when I need to replace my shower doors. Thank you Ace!

Ace Glass was one of the only companies in the Orlando area who was able to fix the closer to our glass office door! They were quick to provide an estimate and once approved they were able to repair our door very quickly! They are knowledgeable and fast.

We were vacationing outside Orlando when a lamp was knocked over breaking the glass top on the nightstand. My wife called Ace from a Google search and spoke with Bob. He explained he was 45 minutes away but if we brought it in, he could help.Bob is very nice and when we showed him the broken pieces, said he would fix it as soon as a technician returned (which was in about 5 minutes). This is quite a busy shop.The technician cut the glass, polished the edges, and explained it broke as the rubber feet were too high and nothing was supporting the middle. He provided new feet and we were on our way. Being from out of state, he could have taken advantage of our situation but he did not.The work was done for a very good price and Bob and the technicians explained everything.I highly recommend them!Thank you Ace Glass Service!!!

Fit me in to cut my mirror at the last minute just before closing on a Friday. Economical. They were friendly. I am so happy.

The glass on the storm door was broken before my clients closed and the listing agent hired them to repair. The frame of the new piece of glass was not done well and we let the other agent know. After several weeks of waiting for Ace Glass to respond to him. He let us know that they had stopped responding to him, and my clients decided to just give up having it corrected.

Good. Only been there once but my boss says he always goes there and the service was good. Plus when I got there the glass was ready and waiting as expected. But it was only one piece..

Needed to get a bathroom mirror cut, exemplary customer service. Highly recommend this company for all glass needs. The owner and his wife are super nice folks and offered us quick service including polishing all edges, even the ones they did not cut.

We used Ace Glass to install new shower doors and our bathroom window. Ace did a great job installing the new window and glass shower doors in a timely professional manner. I will use them again for future projects as their quality of workmanship and materials was outstanding.

Horrible communication. They measured glass completely wrong and didn’t notice until install. Then tried to blame me that their appraiser messed up. They were supposed to have a new piece installed to fix their error but took longer than no try the original agreement, and what was stated for reinstall. On scheduled install day, last minute they cancelled and wanted to reschedule, which was already weeks pass the hard cutoff deadline for install. Poor service, poor professionalism, poor customer contacts throughout the process.

Custom cut glass and mirrors. Really happy with product and price. Knocked off 1 star as there was a bit of miscommunication with the fact I ordered a piece of glass and they cut mirror. They corrected really quickly and did not charge as was not my mistake

I just needs a glass cut for a kitchen window. The office staff did not just ask the size, however took the time to assure I was getting what I really needed. I call before and it was ready to pick up when I arrived. Everyone who I met was pleasant and respectful.

I absolutely love this company. Its just down the street from my local moving company in Altamonte Springs. Unfortunately things like glass break during our moves. On the rare occasion it occurs I depend on ACE to help keep my name in good taste. Most recently had a break over the weekend of 8/17/18 I had a hutch glass broken that Sunday and when I pulled up the owner had a replacement in minutes. This further solidified my commitment to using the company. They are wonderful, caring and experienced people. My Client was amazed at the next day repair. Was looking for an affordable glass replacement shop, to replace some mirror on top of a desk I was repurpose, and came across this shop on google. I was afraid that I was gonna of to throw my desk away, after trying to fix it myself. But took the desk to this shop, and was surprised how much they had help me with my desk. Great company, really got me out of a bind.

Im only giving this horrible company a star because I have to in order to review it. This company has by far the worst customer service I have ever received. Took over two weeks of constant promises to get an employee out to give an estimate. Finally after multiple calls, they sent an employee who was extremely rude and mouthy. I should have taken my gut feeling then and ended the service. However, they came on recommendation so I looked past it. What a MISTAKE on my part. After another promise of when installation would take place, they once again could not make that promise happen. Their Installer Mark and the owner Lisa have no customer service skills what so ever. Mark got extremely rude on the phone in which he told me to LISTEN with such a nasty smart attitude. The owner, Lisa, needs to learn to treat customers with respect also. Do yourself a favor and run from this company if you actually want service in a timely manner or want respect as a customer. I will be taking this review to as many sites as possible. I have never been treated like this and would hate for others to deal with it. Take your business elsewhere.

Irst appointment was scheduled a week in advance. The technician showed up the last hour of the 4 hour window, broke the new windshield putting it in and wanted me to go ahead and pay and use my warranty for a new one! No way! I did not pay. Rescheduled for the next Tuesday. That is one full day and a second half day missing work! Appointment was from 8 to noon. Called them because no one came. They said the technician called in sick??? What? So here is my experience. Incompetent, obviously does not know how to replace a windshield and just rude, cannot even call and let you know that you have no technician coming to replace their mistake!!! Save your time and money!

Great Retail Glass Shop

I schedule an appointment on Monday for Friday from 12 noon - 5. At around 2 pm, I started wondering if the technician would show up, and upon checking my appointment on the website, saw that it had been moved to Tuesday. No heads up, not checking with me to see if I was available at that time, no text alert. I called, was told that the shop manager had changed the appointment, and was put on hold while the shop was contacted. The agent was unable to do so and wanted me to take down their number and call them until I got through. Seriously? I canceled my appointment and encourage anyone reading this to go with another provider.

Im actually very upset at this company, because I feel pretty taken advantage of. My patio door opens on both sides and every time I pulled on side, the other side would open. It definitely had something wrong with it, so I called the professionals to come give me AN ESTIMATE. The lady said the estimate visit was FREE. They came in and they were very nice guys, chatty and all. However, they never said what was wrong with the door.They simply said that the easiest way to fix it was to put some screws in place to stop the second door from opening altogether. That sounded simple enough, so I agreed. They never gave me an estimate or anything. And once they were done the two guys couldnt agree on pricing. I went to the room to get my wallet and came back with the guy saying I owed them $105 for the service. I paid. I called 3 different companies after they left and all of them had estimates WAYYYYY lower than $105 to put in 4 screws. One company said that they wouldnt even charge for that and most others said they would have charged $15-$35.Its my fault too because I should have asked the price before letting them put in stupid screws on my door. Something that is just a temporary solution that ANYONE could do. They literally never fixed what was wrong with the door. If they had, I wouldnt mind paying for their professional knowledge. But that wasnt the case. The least they could have done was tell me that the 4 screws would have cost me $105 before doing the service. I would have at least had the choice to say yes or no at that point.If you hire them, make sure you get an estimate before, because they are out there to take advantage of people. See below the wonderfulservice they did. Those are the screws they put in to block the door from opening.You live and you learn.PS: The company responded saying that the $105 was a service call fee. But, when I called the lady said that the visit to your home for an estimate was FREE. She never mentioned a service call. Again... they fixed nothing that an average Joe couldnt have done. They didnt give me an estimate before putting 4 silly screws on the door and now theyre lying about the pricing and making up service charges. Be aware people. Be aware.

Called and made an appointment for them to come and fix my sliding glass door. Did not show during appt. time. Called and was told that they had told me the wrong day. Made me a new appointment, called in the morning to ask for my address (which I had given the day before) but because they had called that morning I felt they would be there. Wrong. So when I called them 1 1/2 hours after the latest they were supposed to be there, I told them nevermind.

Terrible communication. They failed to return calls, missed an appointment after I took the day off work and then were unable to provide a reschedule date that wouldnt require another day of missed work after the no show/communication on their part.I get that emergencies happen and that my shower enclosure is not one to them but I do expect a call letting me know you cant make it.
