I lost a temple tip to my glasses. I was greeted by Amiel this afternoon. He found a pair of temple tips for my glasses, used the device to heat my glasses and molded the new temple tips. He would not allow me to pay. Thank you Amiel for you considerate customer service….I’ll pay it forward.

I HIGHLY recommend this LensCrafters location. Every step of the process was not only smooth and easy, it made me feel in charge of the decisions around my eye care.Dr. Campbell was professional and warm, spending a little extra time explaining the imaging process and listening to exactly what I needed. He was able to quickly identify a great solution for my needs, and then his associate gave me individualized attention to teach me to put in and take out the contacts. I was able to get my initial and follow up appointments at times that were convenient, and I will definitely continue to entrust my eye care to this team.

THIS PLACE SUCKS! I had to have my eyes examined twice, after I waited 2 hours past my exam time the first time around. Then, they promised to change my prescription if needed, so I called and ask and they said the doctor doesn’t work there anymore and I can “call the doctors personal cell phone number and meet up with him somewhere, so he can give you the prescription.” They also said, “he owns the lease, but does not work here anymore”. They couldn’t tell me when the doctors might be back. DO NOT GO HERE! so unprofessional and the manager is a b****!

I understand they close at 7pm, and it is my fault for arriving there at 6:49pm. I frequented this place before I got my insurance so I know which to buy once my insurance cards in the mail.I did not appreciate the employees Oh For Petes Sake remark. Simply tell me, Sir, as you can see, were already putting the glasses away. Im sorry we cant help you.

I visited this LensCrafters after putting off an exam for way too long. I didnt want to possibly make my vision worse by using a pair of readers. The doc was great, knowledgeable and informative as well as friendly and good with time. I ordered the Burberry frames they had on clearance. They were unique and felt great on my face. I got all the extras, they are progressives and the lenses adjust to the sunlight. I couldnt be happier. Would definitely recommend this office!

The right type of help in an emergency situation is crucial. That was me with a scratched retina on a Sunday morning. I made the right decision to go to Lenscrafters’s instead of the hospital emergency room. I was seen promptly and received excellent care that I will never forget. I was seen by two doctors on staff: dr. Martinez and dr. Campbell. Both were knowledgeable, beyond helpful and very thorough. They took the time to explain what my injury was like and the procedure on how to treat it. I was given samples of specific eye drops I was to be using.They also scheduled me for a no charge follow up visit. The cost was only $40 for the initial visit and no charge for the secondary follow up. In comparison to an emergency room fees, you cannot even call it reasonable, it’s a gift. I made the wise choice to seek help there and I received that and more. Thank you dr. Martinez and dr. Campbell. I am grateful. RENATA HURD

Everyone was very nice and extremely efficient. They made my young daughters feel at ease during their appointments, which is a huge deal for me. The staff was also courteous and professional despite having two individuals come in and become verbally abusive and caused disruptions. They handled both individuals extremely well. The fact that my girls didnt hear too much of what these ignorant people were saying means that the staff was able to keep control of the hateful and entitled morons conversation away from impressionable ears.

I went here for my eye exam, decided to get my glasses adjusted here while I’m there. Got my metal frames back bent, lens scratched and returned in worse condition. Noticed it while I was cleaning them the next day. I called and they stated couldn’t do much about it. Won’t be moving forward with my purchase on the glasses I was quoted. Extremely disappointed in my over all experience.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. From refunding me when I made a mistake in presenting my insurance, to the kindness from the doctor, everyone was professional and kind. They were the right balance of welcoming, informative, personable and patient in helping me make the right decision. They even helped me save the most money with all my options and did not ever make me feel like a burden. I would recommend this place and staff 100%.

Would not recommend. I had an issue with my glasses and they said they could not give me back my money today. They said they will mail me a check. What company takes your money but makes you wait for a refund? Buyer Beware......UPDATE: Lenscarafters never alerted my insurance company that I received a refund so it appears I used my Vision insurance when in fact I did not. I am now having issues using my insurance at another Optical location. Such an unprofessional establishment.

Been going here for awhile now, The doctor is always extremely quick and friendly as it gets! The Staff is always great as well, if it gets busy dont be rude! Saw some customers having temper tantrums for this reason, get over it and show some respect.... Great place tho 😉

The eye test equipment is top of the line and extremely quick, like 5 minutes. No lazer or bright light shining in your eye and no eye dilation for me. The pictures of my eye on the big screen were incredibly impressive. Had my glasses in my hand within 1 1/2 hrs.

I made an appointment for an eye exam after letting them know I have Cigna. They said okay no problem. When I arrived at the office they told me I’m out of network but they would try to run my insurance to see if I was covered. Then in true bait and switch fashion they offered to do the eye exam while we wait to see what it would cost but if it came back not covered then I’d pay full price.1 star of unethical business practices.

The only reason I return to lens crafter, I like the doctor. I give the doctor a 5 star. He’s such a nice man and does a great job.As far as customer service, the woman with the long dark hair and tattooed arm took me into the first room to examine me. She had no smile, no personality, she seemed snippy. She made me feel as though she didn’t want to wait on me. Her energy was horrible. As long as she is working there I will never return. I’ll go someplace else where I’m greeted with a smile.Also, last time I had my lenses made at lens crafters, they did a terrible job.

This optician is a disaster they offer you to deliver your lenses in 5 days and it takes ten. they charge you a price according to the order of the Dr they make an error with the order, and you have to pay for their error additional money. I do not recommend LENSCRAFTERS FOR ANYTHING additionally the assistant manager of this place preferred to support the mistake of his coworker and lose a client....I never see something like this....

I’ve been looking for new frames for months to replace broken frames that I loved so much I superglued them to fix them. I had been to countless stores and looked at hundreds of frames, but never found anything just right. The staff member, Ashley, who helped me was incredible. After picking out many pairs of glasses to try on, she helped me narrow down my choices, and even walked around the store with me to find more options. I had been looking for MONTHS for new frames and with her help I found the perfect new glasses in around an HOUR. Plus she was very personable and made the whole process super easy and less intimidating for me. I live out of town and was only visiting my parents for a few days and they even had the glasses finished before I left.

Ordered the glasses and was not told that it could take up to 14 days to receive them. After calling to check the status of them it was then told the wait would be between 14 and 21 days. Ive been blind for nearly two weeks. Im currently trying to get a refund.

I have only been wearing glasses for a few years, and decided to try contacts. Dr. Feenstra was very kind and explained everything thoroughly. He and his staff were great and I was in and out in about 30 minutes - we did an eye exam, discussed changes in my eyes, learned how to put the contacts in and how to care for them. 30 minutes! I also don’t have insurance and am self pay and the prices were very, very affordable!

I Scheduled and appointment for our little one and myself before reading the reviews. Once I read the reviews I was a bit skeptical and second guessed myself. I must say we walked in to a smiling staff who greeted us and took care of us right away. They answered questions and were very informative. I left that day feeling very positive of the appointment. The glasses arrived when promised and the fitting was painless. Bad reviews are easy to post, good reviews are hard to find. Whenever I have a good experience I try to post something. This is where I come for my eye exams. I really like the optometrist, Dr. Feenstra, and he is very patient with my questions and always answers them to the best of his ability. He is very high energy and you just feel good when youre in the room with him. This location also has the fancy new machine that just takes a photograph of your eye and it gives the optometrist everything they need to know, from glaucoma, eye measurements, all the way down to giving the prescription. No more eye dilation here! That is a huge plus for someone like me, who has worn corrective lenses since I was 3.

I would never take anyone to the eye exam services here. I took my son here to have his eyes examined due to medicine he was on, and the doctor told us he had something horrible in his eyes... we later went to a proper retinal specialist and he was able to let us know that what was seen in my sons eye was NORMAL and we had nothing to worry about. This LensCrafters person should have NEVER said he saw what he saw if he wasn’t positive. He said he had “only seen it in textbooks” so clearly he didn’t know what he was seeing. AND... what he was seeing was a NORMAL element in my sons eyes. VERY UPSETTING the way he scared not only me, but my son!!!

I agree. The manager I spoke with about two weeks ago (early March 2017), gave me much of his time and knew quite possibly he might not get a sale. He still took the time to be courteous AND helpful. Not all locations are alike and this one has a manager that knows his stuff and is likeable!!

Liliana and the rest of the staff were amazing! I needed an emergency pair of glasses ASAP, and everyone was willing to help me and I got my replacement glasses in less than an hour. She really put customer service first and was extremely helpful in helping my find frames and choose lenses in my budget. Wonderful experience all around, and they helped make what couldve been an extremely stressful situation a breeze.

Love LensCrafters in general, but this location is especially great. Everyone is exceptionally helpful, kind, and knowledgeable in their work, from the lovely ladies up front, to the lab techs, to the doctors themselves. My family and I have been going here for years, and I must say they have put up with so much from us – I mean everything from us having to bring in our hyperactive six-year-old, to me consistently pulling out 25 different pairs of glasses from the shelves to try on (I’m so sorry, guys!!!). But they do everything with a smile, and they do it well. Seriously top-notch customer service. We met Mya for the first time today and she was AWESOME!!!! We were having trouble with my insurance and she sat with us for over an hour to get everything worked out. Dr. Feenstra is an absolute expert in his field and always has answers to any question. It’s always a quick but extremely thorough and helpful visit. I just really feel like he cares about his patients health. I had a female doctor a year or so back and she was also great. Love the new digital equipment they use, too. Super quick and painless. I always dreaded going to the eye doctor before coming here – it really does make a difference. All-around great experience, as always!

I get that you close at 7, not a problem. I was running later, my fault. However, I tried calling 10 minutes til 7 and no answer and got essentially VM, both options. I needed to pick up my glasses. I pulled into the parking lot at 7:02, 3 ladies behind the counter closing out I assume. I walked towards the door thinking maybe they would at least say sorry we are closed all I got was the finger across the throat motion while mouthing we are closed. Now, its my fault for being late, I get it, but when they dont answer the phone before close, then motion you away, thats horrible Customer Service.

Extremely rude staff members including the eye doctor. The doctor actually started yelling at me for not wanting to take the more expensive eye exam. I went in to order glasses on a Monday and apparently the order didn’t actually get placed until days later. I’m still waiting on glasses after about 2 weeks. Maybe try another location

EDIT: Despite the below story remaining true, I am revising my review as a result of the extremely positive encounter I had with the Manager, Shanen, today. I returned to the store today, and Shanen immediately remembered me from when she originally fitted me with glasses. She also immediately addressed my google review and asked me to relay the story to her. Shanen listened attentively, and assured me that she is steadily working on improving the customer service of the store, and that this situation would never occur again. Shanen was incredibly professional and genuine, and I would honestly return to Lencrafters just to deal with her again. Thank you Shanen.After giving this store $1,177 for two pairs of glasses, Im told I would be notified when they were ready. I was not. On the 10th day after placing my order, I call to check the status, and am informed the glasses are there. However, I called at 6:30, and was informed that there is paperwork I need to fill out and they can only give out glasses before 6:30 (despite them already being paid for). I ask them if I went to the store right now, would they let me have my glasses. They say no, I have to come before 6:30. I decide to drive there anyway to pick them up, as I desperately need my new prescription. I arrive at 6:55, and the door is already locked and I no one comes to the door, despite the store technically closing at 7. After giving this store over $1k for a product, I cannot believe I am treated with this level of disrespect. I will not shop here ever again.

My wife and I have both purchased glasses here. Each pair has been properly made on the first attempt, and the service has been excellent. On our last visit, the manager was able to save us about $400 on my glasses and sunglasses by submitting one pair to my insurance and using a promotion for the other pair.Would definitely recommend this location, their techs and lab folks are first rate.

I purchased frame and lens about 11 months ago with the one year eyewear protection plan with Katie. One month into my purchase I was experiencing problems with my frames. I was never informed I would be paying $50 to replace my frame and lens or given a brochure of my protection plan. Katie told me, I can come up to one day before my plan expires and walk out with new frame and lens.I went into LenCrafter today and spoke with the assistant manager Gabrielle whom pretty much said I was a lair, and as I said to her “You were not there when the sale was made or what was discussed between Katie and I” and her boyfriend whom works there said “I know Katie and she’s a good worker who explained everything to you about the one year protection plan”. It’s ugly to call your customer a lair and unprofessional. He further when on to laugh at me in my face. The assistant manager Gabrielle did nothing to diffuse the situation in fact she enjoyed it all.I have escalated this to corporate and will be talking to the store manager. I will never be doing business with LensCrafter again. They are not upfront at all. To think I spent over $600 in frame and lens. Stay away from this store, the employees are horrible here.

My wife was there last year and got a very expensive set of glasses. They were over six hundred dollars. Less than two weeks later they were damaged and he frame was loose. They kept just pushing her around giving her reason after reason not to get new glasses. So here we are today. They are completely messed up. And they won’t let the warranty take care of the problem. They refuse to help in any way. This is the absolute worst eyeglass store in the planet.

Dr Campbell is rude as can be, the office messed up my appointment and messed up the charge on my insurance which in turn forced me to have to see them and them only for my contacts. I arrive 17 mins late despite having a 15 minute grace period and the dr wants to leave for an hr and make me wait instead of competing an appointment that took 10 minutes. I love my dr but I cant stand the arrogance from the front desk or dr -_-

I would like to give Dr. David Feenstra of Lens Crafters in Casselberry Commons a huge SHOUT OUT! I have been struggling for 10 days with my eyes and have gotten progressively worst because apparently Im allergic to Sulfa. Dr. Feenstra saw me immediately and although I do have a ruptured blood vessel and it looks bad it doesnt feel bad. He showed me so much compassion and within 5 minutes was able to restore my vision and gave me relief! I highly recommend him!!! After 3 visits to the ER he was able to help me see again without any further irritation! Thank you so much!!!

Spent over $450.00 on a pair of frames and lens about a year and half ago. Got a small scratch on the lenses and asked if there was anything that could be done to repair them. I was quoted basically the same price as originally paid for a replacement. At the time I had purchased a protection plan, but it lapsed.The LensCrafters staff were unwilling to help and kept quoting policy. With dismal reviews and physical stores going the way of the dinosaur I can’t say that I’m surprised.My advice... skip this company and buy online with Warby Parker who quoted me the same prescription and a similar frame for half the price. Without insurance or an eye plan.

Im not usually one to write reviews, but this incident really made me want to. So, I called in LensCrafters yesterday asking for a specific employee that had helped me in the past with a decision for my frames (mind you, Ive been here before and have been helped by another employee that was very rude..Renee). First of all, her name was HEATHER and she answered the phone very rudely. Listen, 1. if you dont like your job, QUIT or dont answer the phone the way someone who just woke up would. 2. The customer is always right and employees must be respectful and not insulting. I asked for an employee and I guess I mispronounced it....Elias HEATHER had the nerve to catch attitude and said, well I dont have an Elias but I have an Elias. Hmmm, I guess thats the same thing? I mean, do you guys have two employees working named Elias so you had to correct me in a demeaning tone? Was that necessary? This sorry excuse for a LensCrafters employee had such attitude with me that I honestly wanted to come in with all my collegues (who come here often for eye exams and frames) and give them a piece of my mind. ALSO, why take my number down if youre not going to relay the message?!?! Isnt that in your job discription?!?! Ive been in the service industry for a while now and I can say that was probably the most sorry conversation Ive had on the phone with an employee and thanks to HEATHER sweet sweet HEATHER, you have lost a handful of customers and revenue for this location. Word of advice, if you want people to come back, hire people that are PLEASANT AND COMPETENT!!!!

Horrible experience, youre asked to fill out paperwork only to find out youre signing to give them an extra $30.00 per person for some test that you thought was covered in the exam. Its a con, that test has nothing to do with actual exam. My wife and I both wear glasses and they told us both that we didnt need glasses. Were going back to Wal-Mart for our glasses from now on.
