Fast, friendly service. Very knowledgeable. I take my car there for whatever is needed. When the extended warranty company I was with tried to put cheap parts on my car, these folks said NO WAY and I appreciate that.

These guys were cool, didnt mind chatting about other issues, came in for an alignment and even though I did a bunch of work previously, magically, I kept it aligned... To me that wasnt even an option, and they could have totally ripped me and just charged for an alignment but did not, just fair pay for the check. Ill certainly come back!

Brought car in for clutch replacement on a Thursday. Was told it would be done on Tuesday and may run over till Wednesday. Two weeks later I’m told my car is done so I go there and pay. Then I start it up and it’s not running right. So you would think they would jump right on it after I payed them $1300 to replace my clutch CORRECTLY. Turns out they pinched the wiring harness. So two more weeks later (mind you this is my only vehicle) I get my car back and it’s running right this time. Fast forward several months, I get to finally look at the bottom of the car and I notice there’s several transmission bolts loose. Turns out they broke a bolt and siliconed into place and two other bolts weren’t tight at all. Terrible service, will never use them again.

They were great. We were traveling home and they took great care of us, getting us back on the road safely.

I brought my wife’s car in for an oil change so that they would look at the breaks since they were scrubbing. A month prior they looked at them and said that they were ok. Now they are to the point of metal on metal. I have a hard time believing that the breaks wore out that fast in one month. That aside though, when they put the wheels back on the car after checking the breaks they failed to put in 3 of the 5 lug nuts on a rear wheel. I have never seen such carelessness in a shop before. Needless to say that they have lost all future business from us. My wife could have died due to this shop’s neglect. At this point I have to wonder if they even changed the oil in the car or if they just charged me $40 for nothing.

The only auto shop I could find that wouldnt rip me off, I definitely recommend them.

Weve been bringing our cars here for the last 18 months. They provide great and affordable service every time. Even on my dying 18 year old car! They take the time to diagnose whats wrong and explain it in plain English. They also are really good about being honest about whether you really need something done or not, even if it means they dont make as much money. I highly recommend them!

Know someone who went to work for them, offered to pay to have there toolboxes taken to the shop. After getting them to the shop they said they didnt have room and wanted them to leave $20,000 worth of tools sitting in parking lot. I ended up having to pay the tow bill when they were spouse too. Bad business, id be weary of taking my car to them. Way to screw someone out of money thats unemployed. Tried calling to speak to the owner too and got avoided.

This shop it a joke they rob you they charge you dealer priceThey charge me almost $500 just to install 3 pulley and a serpentine belt I told them that I can bring the part to them and they say no because they gotta get a the parts from somewhere else when they call me how much each was gonna cost they $87 each when I could of got them at autozone for $45 a piece but I’m sure this shop used $20 dollars parts on my car never agains using this shop

Wont take my vehicle any place but here. I was having problems with vehicle and the dealership that I bought it from refuse to stand behind it. I took it to Hughes and they fixed me right up.

My family has used Hughes Automotive for many, many years (and we have a small fleet of cars that needs servicing - LOL!). At first we used them for oil changes and tire rotation, but as the cars got older, we began using them for car repairs. From day one, the team at Hughes has been outstanding! I have never in 10+ years had a negative experience with them. The entire team has always been helpful and gets the job done right. These guys are very trustworthy and honest. They are considerate and always go the extra mile. Its never fun getting a car fixed and even less fun paying for it, but these guys provide top-notch service at a very fair price. I just got our mini-van worked on. Cid knew that while they were in there working, it would be helpful to change the spark plugs if they needed it. He called me and gave me his thoughts. He said it would save me a good bit of labor cost down the road if they went ahead and changed them now while they were already working on that area of the motor. I agreed for them to do so since the spark plugs had not been changed in a very long time. I appreciate the forethought and consideration of Cid trying to help me save money in the long run. I also appreciate the fact that they truly want me and my family to have cars that run the best they can for as long as they can. They truly care about us as a family, not simply as people who can help them make a buck. I cant say enough good things about them. My kids, who are adults now and live out of town, even bring their cars back to Hughes for servicing because we know we can trust them. I hope youll give them a shot at helping you with your car care needs.

I have taken two of my automobiles to Hughes Automotive for service. Each time I was greeted promptly. The service was done professionally and at a reasonable price. They also explain any other work I may need in the future. They also give a written estimate and no high pressure to have the work done then or at a later date. I highly recommend them if you need a shop for all your automotive needs.

I was headed to Florida when my truck started acting up. Got it to Hughes automotive. Had a pretty good idea it was the fuel pump and a had a small fuel leak. Sid had it looked at. Return fuel line was leaking could nor fuel pump to mess up. Had him replace fuel pump and fixed fuel line. Had alot of rusted fittings and nuts and bolts. Sid did a great job he got me back and forth to the bank and hotel.

I had to tow my car to Hughes because my car ran hot & was not acting right. It lost power . I spoke with them over the phone concerning the repairs & Syd & the crew made all necessary repairs and advised me on cost & were upfront & fair. I have used them for my oil change and to replace my headlamp. Each and every time Hughes does a great job & treats me with courtesy & honesty. They have upfront pricing & never tried to tack on unnecessary charges. I’ve been burned by other mechanics & feel I have finally found a great hometown Automotive place. I am from Rockmart but make the journey to Hughes now.

I am 57 years old and handicapped and disabled, i researched all the automotive repair shops in Cartersville because i have a set monthly income and need my vehicle for my doctors appointments, I found HUGHES AUTOMOTIVE to be one of the top recommended shops around. i spoke to SID and he was very nice informative and knows his business well. He helped me fix my auto but also spent more time and did not charge me for some work he could have done! Hughes auto is a very honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable business . I will now repair my auto from now on with HUGHES AUTOMOTIVE. Thank-You so much SID and the employees!

Reliable and trustworthy. It took a while to find somewhere in town that I trusted with my company and personal vehicles 100 percent. These guys dont jerk you around, they dont try to run up labor or part costs, and have always given me realistic estimates.You want HONEST and CAPABLE service, this is the place.

So I took my truck to Hughes automotive in cartersville hoping they could fix what was wrong with it, I had no idea what was wrong with it and they told me that it was my plugs and it wasn’t getting any spark so they replaced them and the truck was still running the same so they replace the distributor and still the same outcome, starter solenoid had same outcome, I took to them originally to replace the carburetor because that’s what I figured was wrong with it but apparently not and the rest came after that, at this point my truck had been there for well over a month and I was beginning to get impatient because they were just giving me the run around so they eventually get it running and I go to pick it up and on my way out of the parking lot it breaks down so at this point I’m pissed but still respecting them so the next day I go in and they tell me it’s gonna have to be towed after I’ve given them almost 600 dollars. They did pay my towing bill but I highly recommend not taking your vehicle to this place. I had a horrible experience and I regret letting them even touch my truck. Also I spoke with Sid multiple times while my truck was there and he kept telling me it would be ready the next day. So now I’m almost 600 dollars in the hole and my truck is still in the same condition as when I took it to them.

Had an oil change done and they didnt change the oil just put in a filter so my oil was still black and a quart low due to the missing oil from the change in the filter they could have at least topped it off. Also showed me a dirty air filter that didnt fit the car said it needed changing. They look for other things to drive up the price. Not sure whats going on with these guys but I wont be back and would not recommend this business to anyone.

Friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. We recently moved to the area and needed an automotive shop we could trust. Took my car in on a Saturday and was able to be worked in same day they did a great job. Really impressed and would highly recommend.

What I like most about this place is the honesty and friendliness. Now, everyone knows that with a business comes a need for profit, so of course you will be charged a little more than you would if you done it yourself. I would rather get it done right.

I had a flat on a Friday. They ordered a tire and worked me in, all the same day! I was actually at the shop less than an hour. They knew I was going on my lunch break. Amazing customer service, again!

Extra charge for all fluids,they over filled my coolant tank WITH WATER! Then pumped it out and left the water. Not going back.

I found them to be honest in their pricing, very knowledgeable, and most of all friendly and engaging in conversation when they were able. They knew exactly how much oil my wifes car needed, a weird amount(5.9) qts and put in the right amount. This is something some other shops fail to do and overfill it. Thank you and we will be back.

I was on my way from south Florida to Iowa when my suv lost power at 4am outside of cartersville on 75. It was fixed to perfection by noon and the price was just what it should be. The two gentlemen were more than courteous, informative, professional, and even made sure we knew how to get to the interstate. It was an easy part of an extremely stressful and scary situation, being so far from home. Thank you, guys!! Keep up the good work!

This place is amazing! Sid...I cant even explain in words good enough to describe him. This man is a HUGE asset to this company, and YOU are lucky to have him!!! While traveling to Florida my Escalade had severe tire/brake problems. We stayed overnight and took my truck to Firestone the next morning. They wanted a very large, significant amount of money to fix the issue. My instincts had me call my local mechanic to discuss. He advised me to go elsewhere. I then had it towed to Hughes Automotive. The problem was much more than we believed. Sid took us, showed us the problem...which was a failed wheel bearing which caused significant damage to it. The rotor was literally in 2 pieces. The axel was broke, wheel bearing, calipers, brakes, rotors, and melted sensor. The price to repair was still WAY less than Firestone, but most importantly they checked it thoroughly. They made sure it was safe to travel in. While I was trying to get truck fixed, my mother was at a hotel with my 3 kids. Sid offered to have someone take me back to the hotel to get everyone to avoid paying for another night. So very thankful for the staff here. Sid, those who fixed my truck, and Kent for taking me to get my family...THANK YOU!!!!

Well I walk in the older gentleman greeted me very nice and I said to myself that this is gonna be alright LMAO Uh no $95 diagnostic thats high but I understand them i told him my problem and that the bulb that lights up the check engine was blown. He tells me that I have to have this bulb to preform the diagnostic tests. I thought that is kinda odd but ok and I asked him how much would get be able to put one in mind you this is a Honda civic 2005, He said he would charge $90to replace the bulb lmao thats funny cuz its two screws dont take my word for it I wouldnt waste my time typing this if it didnt happen but go get screwed they tried me and failed. Greedy greedy greedy shame on u people. Time for update lol it appears I can get a diagnosis on my car without a check engine light bulb working huh imagine that. Id really like to thank everyone at Calhoun auto parts for helping me get my car fixed without any drama or lies and greedy salesman. I will most definitely go back to Calhoun.

How they can charge for work not done unrea l shame on you they left hoses off cylenoids left unconnected and wanted more money to fix thing that wernt broke. The only thing broke is my wallet.
