Joseph replaced the starter in my daughters car. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. The work was done in one day. The price for the job was very fair. I was lucky to have found Camarillo Auto repair.

Went here after a recommendation. My old Ford Explorer blew the radiator after overheating. I thought the thermostat stuck or even water pump went out. So I went here and do have to say I was hesitant based on the looks of the place. But I have them the benefit of doubt. Have to say I was very impressed and they fixed it completely and under what I expected to pay. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they even fixed my emergency brake light that was stuck on too. Great job. Thank you!

I have been taking my car here for about 10 years. They are fair, honest and do a thorough job. When I bring my car here, I get a fair diagnosis, with the options plainly stated up front. I periodically check with other mechanics for a second opinions. They are always the best. I will continue to take my car here.

I dont normally write these reviews but I felt I need to warn people of this place. I had recently bought a used Honda Odyssey. I knew I needed to replace the timing belt and water pump because it was almost over 100k miles on it. I had a friend that told me that there was a Mechanic he used near rolling pin. I thought it was Camarillo Auto Repair and so when I met Joseph I mentioned that my friend Nick Jones knows him well and spoke highly of him. Turns out Joseph wasnt the mechanic but he just acted like he knew my friend. He ended up changing my timing belt and water pump. I also paid him to find the oil leak we had which he never did. I just brought my car to a mechanic that has several technicians who have a lot of experience with Hondas. I was having them fix the oil leak and look at something else. They just called me and said that the clicking sound that my car makes is because something with the timing belt. He said that the belt and water pump needs to be replaced which I thought Joseph and his team did but apparently just took my money. The engine could have catastrophic engine failure if the belt broke while driving it. Im disgusted by the dishonesty of this place and the fact they can out right steal money.

Dont do it! We went in for a simple repair and they blew our head gaskets! My husband knows cars and had just checked the oil before bringing it to them. Head gaskets were fine when we dropped the car off. They must be hard up for business because they did this on purpose. Dont risk it! ... just confirmed! My neighbor had the same thing happen to them! Dont go there!

Honest, great prices, wont try to sell you things you dont need/want. Looks super busy (because it is awesome), but he has a great staff that can get it done quickly, and right. Joseph is the owner and he is on site. Best reputation in town! You wont regret your decision to go here and he will be your familys mechanic after you go once.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!I brought my car in because the a/c wasnt getting a good flow out of the center vents and it was making a knocking sound. I told the owner that I was informed it may be the compressor but Im not sure. He told me to drop it off and he would take a look. I was quoted $525 for a new compressor, labor included. I dropped the car off for repairs and was told the next day that now the was an actuator that needed to be fixed but it wasnt a necessity. I asked him just to fix the compressor since I figured that was the main issue, after all, Im not an expert. The next day I pick up my car and nothing was resolved! The air flow is no better and the knocking noise still occurs. Apparently all that needed to be fixed was the actuator and not the conpressor. The next morning I returned pick up my old compressor and talk to the owner. He was not in but his nephew who works there was. His nephew told me the compressor was fine and he wasnt sure what I discussed with his uncle. He also told me he would help me resolve the issue and even refund me. Well, the owner called me back to tell me that the compressor has an issue (which was never disclosed) and that he wouldnt refund me. Shame on me for listening to the recommendation to come here.

At first I thought this place was good. I took my truck there with an EVAP issue. I asked. Do you do pressure smoke test. He said yes. Ok please fix my truck. Next day 400 dollars he said he did a few things. Nothing was done and the truck failed again.I couldn’t even put gas into the tank. They put the wrong hose on. They broke the gas gage. He said bring it back so I did. I already paid them. Two day later he said it’s fixed. They messed my truck up so bad. It still failed. Are you kidding me!!! I took it somewhere else 200 dollars and my truck was fixed...NEVER go there!!!!!They will rip you off. They don’t do what your paying for. I paid 400 for what?? NOTHING

Thought it was time to write one. First off Im from the industry. I raced Mustangs and won a title, built the BDX Mustang series of cars and operated a Road Racing driver development company, and was a Automotive Journalist. So I know a little about this world. I am amazed at the variety of cars that I see in the place and the fact all those cars have special needs. I 1974 Porsche has needs different than my 2002 SVT Ford. They seem to handle all of it and if they had a bigger facility could probably do 2X the business. So yes I recommend them.
