I thought this was an amazing store! They had so many cool items, and the prices were reasonable. When in this area again I will return.

I come to this store pretty often and I usually have a good experience, however recently there have been instances where Ive come into the store and have heard the store manager say very inappropriate remarks when talking about customers; there was an instance where I overheard him call someone a he-she.Several times I have also seen him without his mask on during the course of this pandemic and has not made an effort to enforce it on other people that have come into the store without their masks when there are several signs at the front of the store that say its required to wear one in the store. He also coughs INTO HIS HANDS without his mask and proceeds to touch the computers or other product in the store without sanitizing first.The rest of the staff are great whenever I come in for whatever I need. The store manager is the only one I have problems with.

Manager leaves employees all alone so he can go outside and smoke! Plus he seems to only puts on a mask when asked to by customers.Items were quite pricey but the male employee at the register was incredibly kind and helpful.

Customer service was good. Atmosphere was mellow.. My client really enjoyed going there to purchase CDs.

They have tons of different flavors of ramune and other Japanese treats like mochi etc. My girls really like this store. They have stuff toys and music and movie CDs as well. And many more...

Great store layout. Changed up the merchandise a lot over the last year.. nice change of pace adapting to a more digital age.

The vinyl section was abysmal. Totally disorganized, and far too many albums were beat up and had split seems. Selection could be better.However, Marisa at the cash register was awesome. Her interaction with customers was a bright spot. I smiled a few times while I shopped and listened to her help people.

Great store. Varied selection of merchandise, and Mari the cashier was peppy and very friendly. She was a delight to interact with!

Store was a mess. The employees could have been getting things done, but instead wanted to discuss kpop behind the register for 30+ minutes. I have never seen a record section in such a disarray. I mean why alphabetize?

This is my go-to when looking for used movies. Their prices, and selection, are fantastic and Ive never had an issue with any of the movies working. They also have so much fun merch and collectors stuff. Its a really fun place and the staff are always super nice.

Place is a bit dingy and looks to be falling apart but the standard FYE items are there. Has a small selection of Anime, Pokemon, and Loungefly merchandise. Some unique stuff. Their FYE card/loyalty thing is cumbersome. Wish they would change to a real loyalty program - However the score does not reflect their program.

Located on the first floor. The is one the few locaations that exists in MN. Staff here are helpful and friendly..

Awesome but hard to find sales

Not sure what happened to this place. Decent selection of new and used movies and music, but one of the staff members was throwing a child-like fit because he was frustrated with a customers request, and this is what it looks like behind the front counter. Pretty sad.

They have neat things. Very nostalgic. Very knowledgeable staff.

Always lots of unique items

Just wanted to walk through before mall closes.

Absolutely terrible service the person at checkout (I believe his name was Theodore). Was being extremely disrespectful,unnecessarily rude and sarcastic during the whole transaction process. Constantly rolling his eyes (maybe he’ll find some manners back there). The main conflict of transaction was when my daughter made a simple mistake and choose the wrong products for a deal that could easily be switched out, and we were met with disrespectful comments. It could have possibly been a bad day for him but I believe a little bit of human decency isn’t much to ask for, when you are getting paid for it. I will never go back to this terrible place again everything was extremely overpriced and service left a terrible impression on how this place is managed. Spend your money elsewhere.

My favorite shop for all my nerd and music needs

My sister and her kids were paying for their stuffs and cashier rudely comment out loud that he hates customers who dont know that they have to sign on the electric pin pad after using their debit/credit card payment. Poor customer service right there!

Incredible store, so much variety. I went for Blu Rays, as I heard they had a great used selection and deals. Boy was I impressed. 14 double shelves full of selections. Ended up about $100 lighter. Great staff, helped get even more discounts with their program.

Great store!They have lots and lots of great gift ideas!New and used music and movies are just the beginning here!There are tons of pop culture items to look over from toys to dolls to shirts to candy to posters and many others!The prices are quite reasonable overall and their sales after comparable to Target or Amazon.Well worth a walk-through!

No help finding anything prices too high

The store had a ton of cool merchandise and was fun looking. However there were 3 workers sitting and talking while customers were trying to look at products around where they were sitting. This caused a group of customers (about 10 of us) to abandon even looking in that area of the store. The cashier was pleasant and helpful.

A variety of entertainment can be found here. Only real downside was the fact that they removed Amiibo, but most people have stopped selling those anyways. Love it!

I was shocked to see this store still open and was fun to walk through and check out the New and Used selections they have. But then all the fun was shattered when I walked up to pay and could hear 2 young teenage girls going on and on about some guy. I set my movie down on the counter and there was NO greeting from the rude girl who was supposedly the employee as she just grabbed the movie scanned it, grabbed my card and didnt even hand it back to me she just dropped it back on the counter. And sadly this rude employee never said 1 word to me as she was too busy telling her friend about some boy!

Selection hasnt changed in a very long time for much of anything here. Staff is friendly, but wouldnt recommend bringing young kids in here as the staff do tend to be a little louder and not always child friendly.But, fun to kill time and walk around for a bit in here, maybe get a small item every once in a while.

Its got a wide variety of pretty much everything you are looking for movie and music wise. The layout of the store upon enter is kind of overwhelming, they have a old system of how they set their movies out and i think they definitely could update that for easier maneuvering around the store for everything they sell. Other then that the store was clean the staff were on the floor and available if service was needed.

Great selection of movies and cds. Best of all you can buy used. They guarantee the used products. That way you dont have to spend a lot to check a movie out. Its cheaper than the theater and then you own it. You can always resell it back. Friendly staff.

Love this store. Staff was a little difficult to deal with a couple of years ago but now they are great. They have a huge variety of items throughout the store and you can normally find pretty good deals on DVDS and blue rayss.

They rearranged the store. Its easier to find items, and music. Clothes are displayed much better to look through and they have a decent buyback option for movies. You can also burn your own cds

It was a nice store with a huge selection of games and nerdy things. Only thing I didnt like was how unorganized it was, especially the checkout counter.

Best store in Burnsville Mall. Tons of Funco PopHeads. Enough TShirts for whatever movie, gaming, anime, music fan in your life. Headphones, vinyl, players for everyone.

Cool store but everything is overpriced

I go here once a year or so and every time, I keep my fingers crossed that they are still in business. I know, Okay, boomer but I still want to walk into a physical store and buy a copy of a film on physical media, using cash. I dont know how much longer I will be able to do that so I try to take advantage of this opportunity while I still can. On the most recent visit I was there, (1-28-2020) the shelves were looking pretty sparse. I found many Blu Rays I wanted, but there were a ton of placards and no corresponding DVDs or Blu Rays. I get that people are streaming now but if Cheapo can keep its shelves stocked with CDs despite Pandora existing, I think FYE can stock its shelves, despite Netflix existing.Customer service is hit or miss. Its retail so I dont expect world class service.Their prices are good. Cant complain there.Theres not much more to say really. I wish I could say they are the go-to source for physical media but they are going the Best Buy route of depleting their inventory and putting in things that dont interest me.

Good stuff for sale, but half the time they dont acknowledge discount stickers on items, and the other half it takes a prompt to remind them about it. Employees usually stick to themselves and barely interact.

I’ve been getting charged each month for a backstage pass after being told that I successfully canceled it months ago, stealing my money and I know they’ve done it to others. Weak ass company that will go out of business soon like it did at the Mall of America.

This place is a joke. They dont even sell video games anymore. Signed up for their rewards program after basically being manipulated into doing so. They charge a monthly fee for it. Canceling it was like pulling teeth. Cant believe they are still in business.

They always have a good sales on something, usually headphones. Staff is freindly. I wish FYE in general would stop pushing that magazine scam though. Some items need to be lower in price I think, like used CDs sometimes are still $10 which I find weird.

Great place for finding some awesome collectables. Found a couple cool Funko Pop Figures and some hard to find DVD sets. I was really happy with the selections. Excited to return and see what I find next time.

I more of a browser in this store, and I ma sure most of this stuff would be cheaper online. Its more of a time-killer than anything else in this mall, but they seem to have a wide variety of movies, music, and collectibles. The staff never seem to leave the counter (in my limited experience), but always seem to be able to help.

You can buy actual ew and preowned Cds, albums,movies and much more, not many of these left! Support them!

Fun place, lots of great collectibles.

Very disorganized and felt very gross. Half the items didnt have price tags or were damaged. Piles of paperwork everywhere and items scattered across the floor.

Small store but carries a little bit of everything. Need a little more in the cd offering for the more old school minded, but friendly staff and decent blu-ray/dvd selection.

LOVE that is still around. tons of new eccentric things along with old nostalgia.

Can find some good deals

We used to come to fye all the time, but it has gotten to be so neglected, disorganized, and messy! Its overcrowded with merchandise, there is trash all over the floor. I nearly tripped over a vacuum cord that was just lying in the middle of an aisle, and no one greeted us or approached us the entire time we were in the store. Better to buy your movies, music, and funko pop figures online than make the trek in.

So much cool gear! I get my anime fix there for sure!
