Sooo...is Walmart unable to afford to stock their shelves, or what? This particular Walmart, 6300 W Brown Deer Rd Brown Deer WI, has always had management problems, or perhaps its more of a loss prevention issue. This particular store is generally in disarray, and never an employee to be found anywhere other than at the cash register. But this scenario was a new one! Entire sections of merchandise are empty or the items are lying on the display floor or heaped in precariously balanced piles on top of the pegs from which they should be hanging. I get it that this Walmart. Nobody actually expects a great shopping experience at Walmart. We come here for the prices, nothing more. But the sheer lack of availability of merchandise to buy doesnt seem like a genius component to a super-double-secret marketing plan. I get it that this location has a sketch customer base on its best day. But I really, truly believe that both the company and the customer would benefit fantastically if they charged 5 cents more per item and used the extra profit to staff the store appropriately, fill the shelves, and even have an employee hanging around in the cosmetics aisles tending to the shelves and likely discouraging the rip-open-ths-package-and-take-the-$9.00-mascara-brigade. The shrink, or theft factor must be staggering in this department. But as previously stated, We come here for the prices. I spent $23 on mascara after pawing through the mess to find the color I wanted. I would have spent double that amount if there had been merchandise to purchase. Given that the same mascara sells for $4.00 more at the Walgreens down the street, I would still have happily bought these items for 10 cents more (or even $1.00 more) at Walmart. So somewhere along the line there is a disconnect between what the shoppers really wants. Keeping prices so, so low ruins the shoppers experience and dents the stores bottom line. There is a happy medium to be had by norching-up those prices just a bit and doubling or tripling the per-customer spend in the highest profit area of the store. Just saying.

We went to this location by a chance one dayIt seemed well organized and well staffedThey had everything were looking for at the momentThey only down side was they didnt charge their electric carts regularlyThe cart died out part way thru my shopping tripThe bronson security officer attempted to pull my dead cart from the produce area though he didnt succeedHe had an associate do itI would visit again

This is a regular stop when seeking to find a variety of products. Easy entry not very crowded and found everything I was looking for but forgot to get the bananas. Its a little far from home but worth the drive. Those nearby dont necessarily have similar stock.

Need to have at least one line open with a cashier, but none was opened…. Only self check out was available, which took a long time because if a item doesn’t ring up correctly, you have to wait for an available staff member to come assist you….or if you purchase liquor, you have to wait for a staff member to come over, which just takes TOO long. Not happy with that at all!!!

So many employees but no cashiers. So they cant possibly have (salary) management here to fill in. Yep bout 3 weeks now & no change but self check is open and full also oh forgot cell phone and ear bud for personal use.

Walmart super center always polite and courtesy when you coming the door their employee that bees on the floor always ask you if you need any help I appreciate how they conduct their self and keep up the good work

Compared to the East Capitol location and the 41st and Greenfield location...That I shop at more frequently...This Walmart stands out the most for me due to they always have more surplus and flat screen TVs available....Other than that I really dont have anything else to say about this location...I tend to buy flat screen TVs at least two to three times a year not just for myself...So lately in the process I just go directly to this location and pass by the other two locations....even though I live closer to the others.... its a sad reality, but a necessity especially if Im trying to save time....🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

The website for this location reads 6am -7am on Tuesdays. These employees were the worst. They were in the way, blocking aisles, laughing and talking. They were rude in every way. When a few us began to look for an open register, we were then told We dont open till 7. Obviously, they were unaware of their hours of operation, yeah okay. One guest was an employee. She shopped during senior hours also and was far from being a senior. Another employee opened a register to check her out only. Now, it was all I could do to not drop everything and walk out but, I was tired . I regretted every dime of that 84 bucks that I spent there!!! I was just too exhausted to go anywhere else and I needed those things today.

This is the worst Walmart ever in the world customer service is non existent no one is professional except for the store manager in assistant manager. Storage dirty. Employees throw temper tantrums when you ask for stuff. Overall I wouldnt take my worst enemy to this Walmart.

It was great people were friendly in and out no time wasnt really that crowded at all.

It a clean and nice place to shop at just keep the bathroom clean like one on sliver spring and east capitol need to keep their bathroom clean

The pharmacy brought my meds to the car and there was no conflict with with other staff. I was previously asked out of the store for not showing my receipts after self checkout

Its clean and I can find all my items. The only downside is the money center. Wow! Are they slow but still a decent Walmart.

Never again.store disorganized. No signage. I came to pick something up I ordered online. The pickup is All the way in the back with no signs!!!!! Not worth the trouble. Just order from Amazon.

So, Walmart has just been going downhill. The lines are so long even with self checkout. They never have enough knowledgeable trained staff because they dont want to spend the the money. Most of the time their shelves poorly stocked but if you go to the suburbs Walmart they always make sure that they have everything! Only in the black community does Walmart treat human beings this way. So disappointed will definitely be visiting Target aka Tarjea and Home Goods store.

Road construction outside makes getting there a challenge. Seems dimly lit indoors. Well-stocked with the watering cans and other things I needed, though.

I have been going to this store for years. Always consistent, clean and well ran.

It is a very dirty and filthy Walmart. The public that works there is generally rude and unpleasant, to say the least. The same could be said of the shoppers, who also appear very questionable and inclined to steal. This entire area around it is extremely sketchy, high-crime and dangerous. Another thing to mention is that the store is out of stock even of rather basic necessities. Im not a fan and I stay away from it.

We had a great experience despite some of the reviews. Friendly, helpful employees. We stayed overnight in our RV and weren’t hassled. Store was great for replenishing our food for camping, including food for our dog. I would come here again.

Vary trashed dozen of eggs broken left on the floor. It might be better to shop early in the morning time?

The store wasnt overly crowded and had just had a new bathroom remodel done. The associate were very helpful and made a concieted effort to help me look what I needed. Also and this is huge; they actually take care of the plants in their garden section! They had two people out watering and tending to the plants.

Im seeing more and more self checkout registers opening for convenience which has lines just as backed up as if you were waitng in line for an actual person. I prefer to use the human operated checkouts ensuring that someone will remain gainfully employed.....for now

3 stars. Shocked that 3 employees said hi to me and my wife. 3rd time there since COVID in March 2020. 1st. time the store was not literally TRASHED. Was there Saturday of Memorial day weekend for a few things at 11am. Someone cares about this store........... May be back.

Walmart can be a real mixed bag. Today was no different. It took 8+ minutes to get help from an associate in the bike section, but when someone arrived they were very helpful & polite. The checkout person was equally polite which is more the exception than the rule.

I did a job overnight here for almost two months and the atmosphere was amazing...a lil dirty, but not bad for the location.

Great for reasonable priced items such as kombucha, spring water. However the customers there are a bit rowdy from time to time.

Went there for a pick up order. The staff found my order very quickly. I was out the store within 3 minutes.

I was able to buy most of the items I needed.

Not very many cashier lanes and now you have to wait in self check, because there are some with baskets of groceries. Staff standing around in groups.

The store is out of a ton of stuff, and the things they have quite often arent labeled with a price. The shelves are messy, with out of place stuff shoved into them. At least it seems pretty clean. My cashier just kept talking to their buddy behind them for most of my transaction.

Was just Walmart. Sporting goods Was in disarray items in isles had been there two different days same items in isles came from west coast area Was not as bad.

The customer service was not there. Its the location because the southern hospitality an warmness we give in the south is missing here. The store was also unstocked so I didnt find what I wanted or needed

This store has deteriorated to the point of total disorganization & the appearance of an unclean & uncared for store. Never mind the fact that this store was to follow strict CDC Vivid guidelines...it only mandates mask wearing. The store has merchandise lying all over the dirty floors. The staff is unfriendly & unwilling to help. Furthermore to make things worse...there are no pricing indicators on the shelves. Additionally there are no self pricing scanners located anywhere throughout the store. So you pick up an item & have to go to the front check out...wait in line & then decide if you want or can afford the item. This was a horrible experience & in my opinion the store should be closed for reassessment. At best it should be closed until further notice for a total cleaning & reorganization. Where is the regional management to oversee this? Too bad for people like me who otherwise really like shopping at Wal-Mart.

At the thrift store I found excellent vintage US made hand tools that have been around for 50+ years. I tossed them in my tool box for another 50 years. Cant say that about Chinese made...jus sayin

Walmart does a great job of keeping this store stocked and clean! All of the employees that work at the store have been nothing less than helpful to me anytime Ive had a question or had trouble finding an item. A lot of times when I go to different Walmart stores I seem to have the problem of them being out of stock of certain popular items or some of the employees just seem like they dont care to help customers. I have seen numerous employees at this location helping elderly people out when in need of loading their cars and such which to me speaks volumes for the care of consideration on employees they are hiring and overall helps customers as myself want to return. Highly recommend stopping at this location!

I had the worst experience. First I went in to by a blow dryer, but the cabinet was locked and I could not find any one in the area to unlock it for me. I had to walk around the whole store only to find someone hiding in the fitting room area. He then paged someone to meet me over there. When I got there, she didnt greet me at all. No smile or even a How are you? Or what are you looking for today?. I finally got what I thought I wanted and check out. Turned out it wasnt what I expected and had to return it.When I went in to return it, there were two women working in the customer service area and not one of them acknowledged me until I said I would would like to return this. One of them stepped over to help me but they both continued on with their conversation and said nothing to me until it was time to tell me how much I was getting back. Again, I didnt get a hello, what can I help you with, what was wrong with it, nothing.Customer service is non existent at this location and its really sad they dont have enough respect for the company to do their job effectively and make their customers feel valued.

No paper towels to dry your hands in the bathroom, no one wiping down carts, workers dont know where product is located. Workers sitting around on their phone getting upset when you ask for assistance. Needs to be investigated by organization regulating proper practice for staying safe, customer service sucks

Store disorganized, litany of employees socializing in groups instead of performing their stocking. Could not find the beef jerky item on shelf but was on a stock cart. I was told I could not purchase items from the stock cart. Disappointing, but not unexpected. Would recommend alternate location if able.

Listen, somebody needs to start checking these delivery drivers cars. Im not going to say any names but I did delivery through this store 3 times. First time was decent, I got my food. It came a little late, but I received it all. These last two times, with the same person, Ive had about 6+ items missing. I just find it odd that all of my vegan friendly food is never missing, but all the sweets and pizzas are constantly missing. This happened two times, so Im having a hard time believing its just a strange coincidence.Example:For my most recent order I ordered four pizzas, two were veggies the other two were pepperoni. I received both of my veggie pizzas but no pepperoni. I ordered raisin bran cereal and lucky charms, I have the raisin bran but I dont have the lucky charms. Next thing I ordered was ruffles cheddar and sour cream chips with French onion dip. I received the french onion dip, I did not get the chips. like come on now,  I have my salads, black bean burgers, celery/carrots, however I didnt get the chocolate chip muffins or cookie dough. In other words, someone needs to check an employees car after they made their rounds because this happened twice now with the same person.

Their grocery section is excellent. Wide variety. This location carries the Keto 0 carb bread. Well continue to shop there as long as they continue to stock the bread.

This place always looks like your shopping during a zombie apocalypse. There is never anything on the shelves. Do they ever restock anything? When the zombies do come, I suggest you take cover inside Costco instead.

I went to the Brown deer super Walmart I drove to the online pick up area. I was the only person parked in that area. It was nice to know that they were answering their phones. I was able to receive a package that I ordered.

Long story short I bought a tee shirt and it didnt come home with me.

I dont come here often but this Walmart is not in the safest area. Lots of parking lot activities and there is usually a police guard vehicle outside of the west entrance. Lots of kids work here and when I say kids Im trying to be polite. Practice caution and safety when you shop here, definitely could be a place where missing children cases happen...

Would be a great store if the employees were not so slow and the items spread everywhere. When this store first opened it was nice and clean but now it has went to hell in a handbasket. They need to start all over from scratch get rid of management that is allowing the store to look like a disaster area. And then start with all new employees that know how to act and really want to work.

It’s convenient for food and toiletries, but I have to find somewhere else To get toilet paper and cleaning products. That section always looks like people have been disaster shopping. Shelves completely empty or things just throwing it out. Can never really tell what the selection is. Only what remains.

Very unprofessional! I went In to order a cake and a the deli clerk tells me I can’t order a cake because all cake decorators took a leave of absence at the same time, so I proceeded to find a manager and she called the team lead of bakery who found someone who can do it but she had all the excuses why she couldn’t do my sons cake. I’ve never been to a Walmart where they didn’t want to help a customer and had every excuse why she couldn’t. I rarely go to this Walmart but I was in the area but I will NOT be returning.
