This shop has a nice selection of beads, plated finding and unusual items. It’s a large place so allow extra time to look around.

I absolutely LOVE everything about this store. Ive always been treated with utmost respect, and when ever I have a question if the person I have asked cant help, someone else can and does.I have taken many classes and I cant say enough about the teachers! They always bend over backwards to make the attendees comfortable no matter what their beading level, or ability is. I cant imagine any one of them ever being rude in any way! It makes me wonder about the attitude of those who wrote less than complimentary reviews. Like mother always said,you catch more flies with honey than vinegar!Anyway, I love going in there. I always feel so welcome, like they are your best friends! I feel its a warm, friendly atmosphere. Cant ask for much more than that!Marie K.

Eclectica is my go-to place when looking for unique items. They have a huge variety of beads, gorgeous stones and an eye-popping array of findings. They host trunk shows featuring hard-to-locate items, offer practical and inspiring classes and more. It’s everything you need all under one roof. I get inspired just walking around. The store is like a 3-D Pinterest page. I have taken several classes at Eclectica. They have a nice variety of offerings every month, and the teachers are knowledgeable and encouraging. I always leave feeling like I received more than my money’s worth.

Shame on you for discriminating against disabled children who did nothing but sing! My friend shopped here for years but the first time she brings her well behaved autistic daughter with her, you guys claim she doesnt appear to be disabled so the singing child needs to go. Im spreading the word and hoping your treatment towards people with disabilities goes viral!

Love this bead and lots of things to make things store. A very complete selection of contemporary types of beads, findings, stones, chain. etc.Free classes on Mondays. Kits, formal classes, trunk shows. But local to keep this venue open.

Havent been to a head store in years. Very well organized store. With plenty to choose from, and they have classes for different projects.

May look like a small business, then you walk into beading paradise. Not just beads upon beads upon beads. They also have chainmaille rings, cabochons, wires, stringing materials, tools and other items for beading. Also they have an area where they have classes for beading projects. It takes a lot of restraint not to buy everything in sight.

Knowledgeable staff, a HUGE inventory, and very competitive prices makes this a valuable resource for the serious beader. But the QUALITY of the products is the best reason to shop here, rather than going to any big box craft store (with their inferior - quality beads).

Their selection is extensive but from the moment I was followed and made to feel like I was not welcome or trusted. When I asked if they could order an item for me I was told they probably couldnt this is a great store but could be even better if they treated all their customers as if they were important

I could not agree more with Lisas review. Although a few of the sales people are courteous, the managers are not. Much of my time in the store is wasted on waiting to have a display case opened. I was even scolded once for actually returning the tray to the case and the manager had to look for the items in order to price them. Imagine being scolded by someone who is being paid by your purchases. I shop in this store at least every two weeks and have spent hundreds of dollars. However, as for the punch card system, if my purchase is even $99.99 they will not give me the extra tenth stamp. Really? Does it cause the store to loose anything (other than possibly a customer) by giving a 10% discount on a second purchase after spending $100. The store owner should implement better business practices!I rated the store with one star because of their poor attitude towards the customers but the store would get 5 stars for the variety and selection of their inventory.

We stopped in today for jump rings and they have large selection and were very helpful and courteous. Cant wait to go back for more!

Didnt know how to tie a slip knot on neckless they sell

I have taken three silver PMC classes at Eclectica in the last two weeks. Two were 3 hour classes and then I took a 2-day level 1 certification class. All three were taught by Irina, the shop owner. I cannot speak more highly of Irina and the classes. The class size is perfect to allow Irina to easily move around the work tables and be hands on when needed. She provides detailed demonstrations of a series of steps and then we all go back to work on that at our worktables. I received a lot of information in each class fortified by using these techniques in the classroom. Im amazed at how much I learned in each class. The jewelry that we create in the classes is beautiful that I am excited to wear. I received many pieces from each class.Ive taken a full day wire wrapping boot class from Irina at the Milwaukee Bead Show that was also great. Again, I learned different techniques using different types of wire. We made three pendants with three sets of matching earrings. I have friends who have asked if they can purchase the pieces from me. When taking classes from Irina, you can be assured you will be working with high quality materials and on attractive designs.Her store is huge and offers a wide variety of beads, findings, tools, books, and anything a jewelry designer could dream of. Be sure to allow yourself time to look through the entire store. I own four books that Irina has written which are written and illustrated well.I am always greeted in the store by the employees and they are very helpful with the questions I’ve asked. Irina is welcoming, personable, and extremely helpful. I highly recommend Eclectica.

Beads with an attitude is sooooo right on about this store. I have spent at least $700 in the past year and leave the store steaming mad almost every time. Most of the women that work there are rude and not helpful. They have most of their stuff locked in cases so if it is busy you will be standing around forever waiting for one of the very unfriendly workers to open the case. Just got jipped on their punch card process today. Customer is never right at this place......and its like they go out of their way to make you feel unwelcome (odd business model?)I have gone to the place on Capital and they are so much nicer and pleasant there!! They will be getting all of my in store business from now on.
