I went into Ethan Allen looking for a couch. Jennifer Mathis helped me with my selection. Thank goodness she was there. She suggested other furnishing to go with the couch. I could not be more pleased with everything. She combined what I already had with all the new purchases and suggested a new arrangement of the furniture. She is so easy to work with and made the whole experience fun. In fact I miss her..

Susan Knolten is a fabulous designer. She pays close attention to details and she has excellent customer service. I have worked with her twice. The first time was 15 years ago. During my first design experience, she helped me design furnishings for my living room and dining room, as well as, art and window treatments. I absolutely loved what she did then. Now, I am working with her again on a new build. I can’t wait to see the finished look.

My entire family and I have been working with Dawn Johnson for about 10 years. She has helped us furnish 2 houses in Franklin and one in London. We are just about to finish a living room redo and it’s gonna be stunning. She has amazing taste and one of my favorite people. Thank you Dawn!!

Tip - never sell all your old stuff, planning to replace it after you move especially when the city locks down everything a month after you move. I love my sofa!!! Dawn was a huge help with my selections and the color and firmness is perfect! The sofa is also a perfect fit for my space which I contribute to Dawn’s design expertise.

All the staff were helpful, but not pushy. They offered assistance and left us alone to wander and find what we liked and it was easy to find someone to answer the additional questions we had. Will definitely be going back.

Worked with a great designer named Ashley at Ethan Allen. She understood exactly what I was looking for. I bought a chair from LazyBoy about the same time and was extremely disappointed in their quality and service. Ethan Allen excelled. I am very pleased with the leather sofa I purchased. It is absolutely beautiful.

The interior designers were very helpful in answering questions and choosing colors and materials.

I recently decided to consider a move to Nashville and needed furniture for an apartment. I met Millie at Ethan Allen and she was more than helpful in helping me make selections and understanding my needs (this is to be a temporary part time residence while I consider whether to make the move). I wanted quality furniture but I didn’t want to spend a reasonable amount of money. She was very helpful in suggesting quality pieces, advising me of upcoming sales and visiting my residence to help with a floor plan. She was patient and made the process so easy. I was fortunate enough to work with Millie in the Cool Springs location when looking for a sofa. I had a very specific budget and had been looking for months. I only could afford a simple sofa and felt no judgment about that. Millie was very patient and I felt no pressure at any time. I took a few visits to make the decision and I could not be happier with my final decision. In the end, my sofa was extremely well priced, fit perfectly in my home, and better in person than I expected. Buying a sofa is really tough and Im honestly so glad I worked with Millie at Ethan Allen. It was worth it all and our custome sofa came out to be as good of a deal as most other box (home) stores. Had been looking for years for just the right armchairs for our kitchen table. EA had several to choose from. The designer Aimee Fletcher was very helpful in customizing fabric and finish. They arrived in a shorter time than promised. Very pleased!

We have made several purchases this year at Ethan Allen. Ellie,our designer was available at different times and coordinated her schedule to accommodate our schedule. She listened to our ideas and needs while understanding the functionality of the rooms and what would complement the existing decor. Her suggestions and diagrams showed us different ways of decorating our home while allowing us to tweak and change the designs making it come together to the final result. We are happy with the services Ellie provided and will be purchasing more items in the future!

This place has amazing furniture. Be prepared though. This is a perfect place to shop only if youre willing to pay more for the selection they have. Custom furniture/ bedding and upholstery are available. If you go upstairs you can design and customize your own pieces with the help of their staff. Again, this is Not a place to shop if you are more concerned with cost than selection. Its like the Mercedes Benz dealership but for furniture.

Dawn is a warm and wonderful person! We have really enjoyed working with her. She really knows her clients and takes time to explain any questions you may have. We will look forward to working with her again in the future. Go see her you wont regret it.

Had a great experience working with Ellie and team at Ethan Allen. I loved that someone came to the house so we could see the colors and materials with the rest of our interior elements. Our custom sectional was ready ahead of scheduled and delivered on-time, with white glove service. So far the materials and the couch overall are holding up great - especially with two dogs and a young child.

We had a fabulous experience with Taylor and Ashley. They worked together to find us the perfect living room furniture and were patient with our process. They both did an outstanding job helping us decide on wall colors in our new home as well. Hands down best experience! Thank you!

We had the very best experience! Particularly, we were served by Ellie Marrin and she was amazing. She was wonderful with which to work, had great ideas, was flexible, efficient, always on time or early, and truly.... she just took great care of us. My husband and I were on our Harley and decided to stop in to look for an entertainment center. Unfortunately by the way we were treated we decided to purchase elsewhere. We walked in and 3 associates looked at us with facial expressions that were not particularly welcoming. My husband spoke first we approached a lady at the reception counter. She just said they have nothing we would want. Straight out of a scene from Pretty Woman. We were well taken care of at another high end store that really appreciated our business.

Cant say enough about the design services from Ashley! She came out to my home, took measurements, asked many questions about what I LIKE, and came up with a design plan for 4 spaces. She was right on with my taste (not hers.) Within no time an order was placed. She was not pushy at all and went out of her way to make sure that I was happy. Cant wait for the new items to arrive!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Ellie Marrin at the Brentwood Ethan Allen store. Ellie helped my husband and I pick out a dining room setand then different fabrics that could be used on the chairs. Ellie later came to our house with the fabrics and helped use choose which ones looked best with our rug. She also made sure the fabrics coordinated well with other pieces in adjoining rooms. Ellie has a good eye for details and was helpful in narrowing down choices. I highly recommend Ellie for any design work you would need done.

Millie was excellent to work with. She gave great advice and was so helpful with getting everything looking perfect.

I paid $3000 for a mattress and box springs. When it arrived it was brick hard. (Hard- not firm). When I asked to exchange it they told me that I had 72 hours from purchase to exchange it but I didn’t receive it until a month later. How would I know? They also said that they decided that nothing was wrong with it so I had to live with it. They basically stole my $3K and ran. You would think that a higher end store like Ethan Allen would have better customer service and would want their customers to be happy with their purchases. I rate them a negative 5 Star for their customer service, exorbitant prices,, and lack of customer concern and care.

We are enjoying working with all of the designers. This has been a relaxing experience for my wife.

I worked at the Corte Madera location with Millie Adams this year. She has relocated back home to Nashville and I will miss her! We had a great time picking out lovely upholstery, accessories and bedding for my entire home! I trust the quality of Ethan Allen furniture and have always been pleased with the customer service that Millie and her manager provided. I am terribly picky on color matching and unsure of how to style a room, but Millie respected my quirks and we had fun making my home beautiful. Find her in Nashville!

I was looking for bedroom furniture and living room options. Walked around and saw 4 associates. No one said hello. No one offered to assist me. I literally walked to the top floor and back down and was still not acknowledged. Terrible service. Actually no service.

We live in a high rise condo in a large city. We moved there from Brentwood, TN so I was familiar with the Ethan Allen Franklin store. It is incredibly difficult to get furniture delivered to our building. So many small details have to align it literally becomes an ordeal. I was not getting the service I needed here in our city so on a trip home to Brentwood I went in to look at furniture and ended up talking with Millie Adams. Millie is a gem. Detail oriented, calm and exceeds every expectation. She even drove from the Franklin store to meet me in Green Hills to match a wood swatch from Ethan Allen to a table we had already purchased at another store. She was always available by phone and text. She always answered promptly. She also went out of her way to coordinate our delivery with two teams across two different states to make sure everything was seamless. In the lead up to the delivery, a few hiccups happened and Millie ironed them out so that in the end, the delivery arrived perfectly within the exact window our building had given us. Can’t say enough good about her or this store. Wish we had been able to do our whole condo with this team. Service par excellence.

Will NEVER shop Ethan Allen again. Paid over $3,000 for king size mattress/box springs. Less than a year later the top mattresses looked like something seen in a seedy hotel after years of use. Deep body hollows that not only look terrible, (even seen with thick comforter on top) but slope our heads downward. The powers that be came out and did all type of measuring, only to determine that the hog wallows were not deep enough to meet their standards for replacement, but actually needed to be TWICE as deep!!! We are 135&185 pounds. Sorriest customer service ever for such an expensive item.

Not my cup of tea. Generic uninspiring overpriced. But hey, you might love it ?
