Very fast & professional . I went for an estimate on a car that was involved in an accident . There are not many places that have the posibility to repair your frame damage . I found them after going at other 6-7 different auto body stores . Then it is on you . It depends if your car worth to put all the money in or not . I got a fast estimate . Very pleasant experience for me and my sad car !

Jeff and the guys at Gerber are fantastic! They painted some fender flares for me without even seeing my truck and matched up the paint perfectly!! I love the way the truck looks now. I will always take all my work to Gerber. They also worked on my wifes car after an accident in early November and the car turned out perfectly. The staff is professional and I love their follow up. They handled everything with the insurance company so that the entire process was painless. I highly recommend Gerber in Boulder!!

Had a misaligned drivers door from a mini-collision; Jeff had a look at it, re-adjusted it and showed me how to the replace the broken side mirror; all free of charge. If I ever need a body shop again, this is the first place I will be going to!

Kept calling the wrong number. Kept getting my details mixed up. So much confusion! Also, my car wasnt ready on time.Edit: my car wasnt even fixed completely.Edit: Just found out recently that they gave me the wrong windshield. Also, they didnt even tell me that my windshield camera would need calibrated. I drove my car for weeks without the safety devices. I am very upset and hope that nobody ever goes to this repair shop. Improperly adjusted safety cameras in newer cars can cause them to steer into things or automatically brake when they shouldnt. This carelessness is completely unacceptable.

Nothing bad to say about the folks at Gerber. I came to them with a weird situation in which they had to communicate with me and AmFam multiple times during the process while putting them in a position that they do not experience often, if at all. I had them do an appearance allowance on most of my car and changed my mind multiple times during the process and they were nothing but helpful, understanding, and flexible. Highly recommend to anyone that values people that know how to problem solve and adapt to unfamiliar situations. Furthermore, for the time and effort they put in, I was charged an extremely minimal fee for the work done.

Went to do a walk through to see what was wrong with my car and they man I talked to was very rude and told me there was to much snow to do a walk through. Very impersonal, had to call my insurance to get information out of them. Wound not recommended.

Gerber repaired cosmetic and functional damage to my front bumper area. Luis (my estimator) kept me informed throughout the repair process, including apologizing for a completion delay that was solely due to the availability of parts from the Volvo manufacturer distributor. Due to the delay of a couple days, the Manager provided a complimentary buff out of some scratches on my trunk, for which I have requested an estimate unrelated to the accident damage repair. The customer service was courteous, professional and responsive. The work itself was exceptional. Without revealing it myself, no one will ever know that I ran into my own carport! In addition, they communicated directly with my insurance company, which meant all I had to do was report the accident and pay my deductible. I would highly recommend Gerber in Boulder to anyone looking for high quality auto repair work combined with exceptional service.

Luis provided me a body work estimate on my daughters car. Luckily, the damage was only cosmetic and not structural. Luis was courteous and professional and based on my experience, I would recommend Gerber (Boulder) just on that basis.

Dropped my car off on a Tuesday at 8:30 AM to get my Subaru’s entire bumper replaced with a new one and repainted. This along with fixing my rear parking sensors. Car was ready the next day, Wednesday at 4:30 PM....that’s unreal turnaround in mechanic time. Also, Michayla was extremely polite and helpful over the phone throughout the entire process. Hats off to Gerber Boulder!

Yes, I recommend Gerber Collision & Glass for their high-quality work guided by Jeff Bogner, General Manager. He earned my trust in his expertise when he assessed the parking lot dings, scrapes, scratches as minor paint issues that could be made invisible by using a touch-up paint pen from the Ford Dealer nearby. I was relieved a $30 solution existed because other body shops identified an $800-$1,200 solution to remove plastic rear bumper from 2009 Lincoln MKZ, sand and paint it back to a new shine.Jeff offered to assist in applying the paint pen. When I returned two weeks later with the touch-up pen, Jeff volunteered to do the touch up work himself. Results were astonishingly wonderful: A lovely pearl white rear bumper with the dings and scrapes near invisible. Yes, Jeff Bogner of Gerber Collision created goodwill by sharing his expertise, and skill. You will benefit, too.

Can I give it 50 stars? oK so initially I was a little put off by the LONG wait time but now I know why. This place is seriously awesome. Every member of their team was kind, courteous and mostly competent. From the initial estimate to the timely paperwork for my insurance company to today when I picked up my car everything was easy. And OMG my car! Its 10 years old. A gorgeous little red mini cooper. The body work, the detail work, and the cleaning and waxing. I am still a little speechless. I paid over $50 at The Puddle for a detailing and it didnt hold a candle to Jeffs workmanship. My car, inside and out looked almost brand new again. I know Im gushing but I dont know what else to do right now. The inside of my car hasnt been this beautiful since, well I cant remember since when! and the outside is so amazing. The sport stripes that had faded over time are totally restored.Id like to say a word (or ten) about Jeff. He is filled with pride and joy and obviously loves his job. How lucky am I that because of some cutbacks I was lucky enough to have my car detailed by the grand master! He is an employee that is worth whatever it takes to keep. Customers know when they are in the presence of someone who loves what they do. HE loves what he does and I am the lucky recipient.I will HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone needed any kind of auto body work. Exceptional service. Brought my car in to be serviced for repairs due to an accident, completed the repairs to exceed my expectations. Took a little longer than expected due to it being a very big job and during the holidays season. Luis kept me updated on scheduling changes and repairs needed - even fixed a problem that my car was having due to poor repairs from before I had purchased it. 10/10 would recommend this shop.

I love this shop!! Jeff and the guys are awesome! I got hit with some road debris on my brand new car, stopped in to see what could be done, and Jeff immediately got my car back into the shop and buffed out all the scratches!!!! I couldnt believe it. I was so thankful. Wow, my car was brand new again. True professionals. Youd be crazy to take your car any place else. Michaela is also wonderful to work with. Jeff and his team at the Gerber office in Boulder were incredibly helpful. My car got totaled, and Jeff explained what to pay attention to in the insurance process, and he gave great advice on what other information sources to consult. Their provided an estimate to the insurance within a couple days from the appointment. All staff I met (Jeff, the reception, and a mechanic) were very friendly, helpful, and patient with my many questions. I highly recommend this business.

The manager, Jeff, and the staff (Michaela, Luis, Jacob) at Gerber did an excellent job of repairing 2014 BMW 435i (Looks like new!), which was damaged in a minor fender-bender. Like the rest of auto body shops in Boulder, they are extremely busy, but they got me in and out quickly and efficiently, were always very friendly and courteous, and did a very high quality job. Highly recommend!

Had my car in for hail damage...afterwords I noticed after a couple of rain storms a funky smell in the car. Took me a couple of weeks to realize moisture was getting in from my sunroof. I brought it in and Jeff = owner realized what was up and told me the truth...orders and installed new carpet and cleaned and detailed my car at no charge. Now my has that new car smell and all is good. THANK YOU JEFF and Team!

These guys are real douche bags. I brought my truck in based on an estimate and they were $1200 over the original estimate. We were gouged and taking advantage of. Another Insurance game and fraud if you ask me. I will continue to spread ill wishes about this company to friends, clients and social media.

This shop is the best! I got into an accident, old Mercedes, did not have full coverage, but the car means a lot to me, Jeff worked really hard to help me get the car back to the shape it was in before the accident, which was a very hard task because I am a student on a very, very tight budget. Everyone worked really hard to help me and I got my car back and its perfect!! I couldnt have gotten all that work done and stayed within my budget anywhere else, believe me, I got a few estimates and everyone else was way....too high, or they said, Buddy, this car isnt worth it. But Gerber Boulder understood and helped me out. Love this shop. Thanks guys, I really appreciate you working so hard to give me my car back!

Update: we are still waiting for some work to get fixed/completed after a couple of months.Not sure if my rating is accurate... We had a lot of trouble with Gerber, half the problem was the Colorado Springs store transferred our vehicle to Boulder with only part of the paperwork. We had a lot of issues that required the vehicle going back. Everything was fixed in the end but the whole repair was slated for 21 business days and ended up taking a little over 2 months. The stress and lack of communication was just not worth it. This review belongs to both Boulder and Colorado Springs stores. If their communication was better together this wouldnt have been as bad. I have used Gerber in the past but will hesitate before making that decision again. The end product is good and the work was clean.

Update... They are under new management. They did end up having my steering wheel replaced and had much improved communication.Original Review:They caused damage to my car and NEVER called me back!!!I got an estimate. They did not email it to me as promised. I had to call to get it.I was supposed to drop off my car for repair. They did not have me on the schedule. I had to wait another week so they could order the parts.I dropped of my car for repair. They were supposed to call me to let me know when it would be ready, no calls. I had to call them 3 times to find out when it was ready.I picked it up and they did not properly tighten bolts on the undercarriage, so driving my car home was a huge safety risk.They damaged my steering wheel while they had my car!I took it back for them to check the bolts and complain about the steering wheel damage. They were rude and accused me of lying. They were supposed to look in to what could be done about the damage. They never called me back. I called corporate customer service, so I got a call back. They wanted me to drop of my car again. So I thought they were going to fix the damage. Instead they kept the car for 3 days, never calling to update me on what was going on and all they did was take pictures of the damage. I still havent heard back from Boulder or corporate and Im too angry to waste any more of my time. Dont ever take your car here!

I came in for an appointment at Gerber on Pearl St. and Jeff Bogner was on the phone talking to someone who did not have an appointment and kept me waiting for 30 minutes. When I asked him why he would take and make phone calls with people who did not have appointments before keeping his appointment time with me, he had a bad attitude and acted if I should go elsewhere for my business. His behavior does not cause me to want to continue business with this company

Ive dealt with Gerber Collision twice and both times were outstanding. The first time, they repaired my damaged car and they stuck to the estimate, finished in a timely manner, and 2 years later the repair is still perfect. The second time, the manager gave me some advice on a hail damaged vehicle and saved me from being scammed by the dealership.

There are many good Body Shops in Boulder but I really like Mr. Bogners Professional care and feel he is making a significant difference in managing this location.I see first hand his dedication and quality service on many of my customers cars and others that move through this shop. Professional and Responsive from the First Inquiry to the Final Pick-up. I had a relatively small repair and contacted multiple repair shops in Boulder. Several never even returned my call. Jeff, From Gerber collision not only returned my inquiry, he treated me like a VIP customer from the initial conversation through to the day I picked my vehicle up. All of the staff were friendly and professional, and the work done exceeded my expectations (including cleaning the interior of our old car to the point where it felt new again!). In this time where all the Boulder repair shops are swamped and could pick and choose the projects they accept, I was very grateful for the way I was treated by Gerbers team. I cant recommend them highly enough.

SUMMARY: I will not use Gerber again. I will not recommend Gerber. I will recommend and use ABBA which is just down the street.Lets start at the estimate. It said my car would need to be here for 13 days to repair it. Okay thats fine. I call up (after all my parts had been ordered and arrived) to schedule a day to bring my car in. I am a VERY busy college student (Aerospace Engineering major at CU), with my most busy days being at the beginning of the week. Friday, however, I only have one class in the morning. Silly me, I asked to bring my car in on a Friday. I was told by Kim (receptionist?) that that would not work because that would mean that my car would have to be there for two weekends and that the insurance company really frowned upon that (however, when I had my car repaired by ABBA, which is just down the street, a few months ago, they had no issue with me dropping it off on a Friday). I asked about Thursday. Kim said that wouldnt work either. Kim then told me that the only days I could bring my car in were Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday (of any week). Well, I really dont have any free time on any of these days until about December but I reluctantly scheduled to bring it in on a Wednesday morning before class. Slightly annoying but whatever, Ill make it work.Then, not even a week later I get a call and e-mail saying the car is done and I can pick it up. Cool. I show up on a Tuesday afternoon (the day I am writing this review). We go out to the car and the hubcaps were not replaced. Not a big deal; its not critical to the car working but the estimate said they would be replaced. Naturally I questioned them about it. They said since the current hubcaps werent stock hubcaps that they didnt replace it because it wouldnt have matched the other ones. Okay. They offered to go to the auto store and buy hubcaps for me (theyre cheaper there than what Nissan charges for 1 hubcap) and that I could come back and they would replace them really quick.Then I get in my car and before driving off I need to adjust the seat and various mirrors. The electronics controlling the mirror on the side of the car that Gerber had been working on (right side) didnt work. I was pretty annoyed at this point and had recognized how disorganized Gerber was, so I decided to just let it be because Im really sick of dealing with getting my car fixed. I can still adjust the mirror with my hand.The marketing rep. that I had talked to when I picked my car up called me about 15 minutes after I drove away to ask what size my wheels were (for the hubcaps) and I informed her over the phone that this electronic component to control the mirror was not working. She said that they would fix it when I brought my car in to replace the hubcaps. So now Im inconvenienced again, I have to bring my car there again, when it all should have been fixed when I brought it in the first time.Maybe instead of rushing to get things done, you should take your time to make sure that everything on the car that needed to be fixed, was fixed.The estimate said it would need 13 days. They told me it was done when my car wasnt even there a week, but it wasnt even fixed properly.On the other hand, Enterprise was wonderful. They provided my rental for both repairs and I have not had any problems with them. If you can, get Megan, she is really nice :)Conclusion: I will not use Gerber again. I will not recommend Gerber. I will recommend and use ABBA which is just down the street.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating and they were willing to work with me on the price for some extensive damage repair. Part of the work was a radiator replacement and the radiator cap failed two weeks later, but they covered the cost of towing and repairs. Everyone seems very committed to excellent customer service.

We didnt even get our car repaired at Gerber. I hit a deer going 45 MPH, had moderate body damage to the hood, bumper and radiator, but nothing extreme, so our insurance company towed our car to Gerber Collision in Boulder (one of their in-network shops). Our car sat on the lot for 9 days before we FINALLY got an estimate. The estimator tried to write us for a total loss! He tried to tell us we needed a new intake manifold, new horn, new fender... several things that were clearly not broken, as we and our insurance adjuster later found out when we inspected the car ourselves. So Gerber let our car SIT on their lot for more than a week, then fired off a shoddy estimate and tried to TOTAL us just to get our car off their lot. Wildly dishonest and crooked. Luckily, we did our own research on the cost of the repairs, and our insurance company even paid to tow our car to a different shop in Boulder because they were so shocked at the dishonest service we received from Gerber. Avoid these folks like the plague. They tried to game us AND our insurance company. **The only person at Gerber who was always nice to us was Alex who works at the front desk. Thanks for being so cool, Alex! You were the only bright spot during a week and a half of crap treatment.**--p.s.: We took our car to a different shop in Boulder and got it repaired. It wasnt even close to being totaled.

They did a good job fixing my car replaced the radiator, but 3 months after they did I had leaks in the radiator hose and other problems that should have been caught when I took it to them that was related to the repairs. Now Im paying 2500.00 to have though repairs done. Not to happy.

Absolutely terrible. They have my car hostage. 5 weeks on a relatively minor repair. I called so much they ended up screening my calls and not answering. I know because when I blocked my number I got through. Then you only talk to a receptionists who says I am only a receptionist. When you ask for a manager they say you are breaking up. They have repeatedly told me the car would be ready in a couple of days, then when you call in when it is supposed to be ready, the answer is always that it will be done in a couple of days. Same answer for weeks now. I cant believe they are collecting revenue ....total sham operation.AVOID GERBER BOULDER ALL COSTS!!!

Very poor service from the company. We called out a repair to fix a smashed rear window and fix a crack in the windshield. The workman was friendly and professional, but had no information on the rear window, so he proceeded to just fix the windshield. When we called the company back to ask why the rear window couldnt be fixed, they told us the glass was not available, and they couldnt fix it.It is now obvious they didnt tell us this before we booked the repair, as we may have looked elsewhere for a fix. There are better companies in Boulder, use them!

Seven years ago, I had a wonderful experience with this shop and now am engaged in what is quite honestly the worst customer service experience that I have ever had. My car is currently in their shop for a very minor repair, one that I was told would take 3-4 days to repair, but has now turned into a 3+ week process. We were called yesterday and told our car would be ready tomorrow- thank goodness. My husband hadnt heard anything today so he drove over there and was told that our car still needed to be painted. They arent calling us to update, and are not returning our calls. My husband is literally now planning to stop in daily. In addition, we were told on one of my husbands visits that cars were being repaired based on the amount of trouble the owners are causing, not in the order that they were brought into the shop. Great business model... Just shockingly terrible service, which is amounting to a larger rental car claim (our vehicle while my car is in the shop) than the actual repair bill.

This shop changed names and it has really gone down the tubes. Took my vehicle here and they caused additional damage to the vehicle - now my door (that was not damaged previously) wont open! I now have to take my car to another body shop because their work was incomplete, (and to cover the additional damages my car suffered at their shop). They also took 72 hours longer than they said the repair would take.Their office staff is snobby, rude, and unprofessional. One of their receptionists loudly complained about the private matters of another customer in front of myself and 2 or 3 other customers in the lobby.Take your money and your car elsewhere to avoid a big hassle!

After three long visits i have a new windshield. They order the wrong windshield first, then the wrong locking strip the second time. After waiting much longer than expected the guy replacing my windshield drove my side view mirror into the wall backing out of the garage. I also ended up paying more than quoted.

You guys are crooks. Kept my car for 8 weeks, Gave me the run around, forgot about it for 2 weeks, didnt fix non visible damage (bent bumper and dented AC compressor, and had bad service overall. After, I had a large rental car bill not covered by insurance, and paid another place to attempt to fix the hidden damage, totalling over $1000.00.Do not use this shop!
