Ill try to keep this short. Im not local but I have a vacation home in Bonita. Ive been taking my car to Tuffy since about 2006. Chris and the Tuffy mechanics are honest and have always gone out of their way to keep my Tahoe running safely without gouging my eyeballs out. I now have a newer car that they continue to keep running for me (when the car sits for a long time things tend to not always work correctly). The customer service Chris provides is second to none. I thought I was special (haha) because every time I go to the shop, Chris always remembers me and comes out to greet me (but after reading other reviews he seems to do that for everyone). He has even gone as far as driving my car to my residence when it was fixed to give it back and I couldnt walk to Tuffy due to the heat. Im a customer for life, thank you Chris.

I cannot say enough about Tuffys Professional Services and Professional Staff. The assistant manager Carl and the owner Kris gave me personalized attention. They went way beyond my expectations. I was quoted nearly $3,000 for a full exhaust replacement on my vehicle by an local unnamed auto service company. That was after charging me $100 to diagnose the problem even after I told them what the problem was to begin with. (I had talked to another Auto technician who recently provided another type of service for me. He diagnosed the problem was but was unable to do the repair because he was not an experienced welder. When I contacted Tuffys Auto Service they told me that they would look at my vehicle without any service charge. The owner himself came into the waiting area and talked with me. He offered to fix my exhaust system for $200! He also did so while I was waiting. I didnt even have to make an appointment! Stacy the office manager couldnt have been more friendly. She brightened up the waiting area. The whole experience was such a welcoming experience I am not going anywhere else in the future for any of my Automotive needs except for Tuffys.

They refused to help me even with my tire flat in a emergency situation, took my van there and manger refuse to take care of my problem I don’t recommend this place, have a Tire Plus around the corner and them are very respectful and kind

Made an appointment a week in advance to have my air conditioning Che key out.I arrived on time and they check my car shorty after. The tech was very very good at describing the issues with my car as well as the options I had to remedy the issues. I’m very appreciative of honest and straight answers. I brought a car in citing a specific problem and specifically how to replicate that problem (and that the problem happened a dozen times prior.) They stated that they couldnt find the problem but there was a recall on the vehicle and to take it to the dealer. The recall was not related to my problem. I have an ABS sensor that intermittently malfunctions, not allowing the car to stop by pressing the brakes and they sent me away with a printout on how to get a warning light fixed. Lazy service.

Chris is amazing, he quickly had an answer for my issue. Came back in and told me, exactly what the cost would be. Didn’t try to sell me on any unnecessary issues. Got my car in and out quickly (very nice when you have a 10 month old with you).Honest work, with amazing prices.I had an oil leak that was a plug issue.

My engine was leaking oil and my Check Engine light was on. The guys at Tuffy found out what the issue was in a matter of minutes! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for efficient and knowledgeable professional service.

If anyone is looking for a mechanic, you should definitely go here. The manager and everyone working there truly care about their customers and want to help. I went to The Tire Center and they did not care at all and what they said was wrong with my truck was not even true. I came to Tuffys and they provided me with amazing service and did everything possible to help me with my trucks issue.

Stopped in unplanned to check the battery before driving car and Mom back home to Michigan after it wouldn’t start after sitting for 3 months. After getting a jump, drove to Tuffy for the check. Manager Chris came right out and checked it and confirmed the battery still had life. He also put air in the tires - all for no charge. I wasn’t looking to get anything for free, so this was refreshing to get this kind of customer service. Will definitely come back if/when Mom needs maintenance while wintering in FLA.

I had also noticed the coolant level suddenly seemed low, causing concern about the potential for a leak. They assured me no problem with the radiator and were extremely helpful addressing a battery issue, as well. I was charged only for an oil change. Alan & colleagues provide an outstanding customer experience.

Easily the best auto repair shop I have ever dealt with. A lot of other people have said it before, they actually have integrity! They dont charge you for something you dont need. It is such a blessing to have a repair shop that you can trust. I will never take my cars anywhere else if I dont have to. My brother recommended them to me and he said he doesnt take his care anywhere else either.

Really nice service and prices. I went in to get a headlight replaced, they did it right away, I didnt have to wait at all. He also put my new license plate on for me. I had them do my brakes, and their estimate was excellent. I didnt get pressured to do a bunch of stuff while theyre in there like the dealership does. The mechanic gave me a good talking-to about getting my oil changed, which Im doing now that Ive found them!

Great service which saved us thousands of dollars off of a suspicious estimate by our dealer. AC was evaluated as working fine and rear brakes were replaced at 1/5th the price of the dealer. From my observation in the waiting room, this is an establishment that does excellent work for owners of older cars. I will make it my default for service. You guys have ALWAYS done a superior job for me since coming nearly 3 years. Last time in, had new tires and brakes put on. Wasnt cheap, but as cars go, you get what you pay for most places around here, so I never skimp when it comes to my vehicle! You couldnt balance my car the day the work was done, so I re-scheduled, and its still not right! I will be bringing it back in.

I have had some repairs as well as routine maintenance done on my car at Tuffy’s Bonita Springs. I have always found them to be fair and honest! Recently when my “service engine soon “ light on my Nissan Rogue came on, they not only diagnosed the problem at no charge, they also advised me that the warranty was extended on my Rogue for the transmission problem I was having. I needed to get the service done at a local dealership and sure enough the cost was covered by the extended warranty! The dealership also “advised “ me that my brakes needed replacement. When I brought it back to Tuffy for a second opinion they told me that the brakes were fine and did not need replacing. This was again done at no charge to me! This was exceptionally fair and honest!

The number one attribute that one should value in a car repair shop is integrity. These guys have it, in spades. Not only did they diagnose and fix my car quickly and in a price-conscious manner, they also threw in a complimentary A/C charge. HIGHLY recommended.

I thought my tire had a nail in it because tire pressure light was on. Because of the great reviews, I brought my car in to Tuffys in Bonita Springs. It turned out what I thought was a nail head was a stone and there was no leak, all the tires were just low on air. They filled up my tires to the correct pressure and didnt charge me anything. Great customer service like this pays off because I will sure be back when I do need auto service and will definitely recommend them to others. Thank you!

Traveling from Minnesota. Front left bearing went out on my 2003 Yukon. They took it in on the spot, got it done!! No nonsense. While it was on the rack they let me look. Lucky the wheel didnt come off. I also noticed the brakes were shot, (just bought this a few months ago), and they did those on the spot too. Pleasantly surprised at the cost. They could have gouged me and didnt. Very reasonable. This is now my service center during travels in and around Naples.db from Mn

They need to communicate with corporate a lot more. Apparently, the manager of this store wasnt aware of coupons they had under their own website and tried to charge my friend $92 for a full synthetic oil change. Tires Plus does a way better job when it comes to prices IMO. Blaming corporate to try and get out of fooling customers to pay more isnt a very ideal business model, franchise or not. Get it right or dont do it at all.

Honest, excellent, and friendly service. Went here for a second opinion after another repair shop told me my brakes were shot and tried to pressure me into purchasing same on the spot after an oil change. The Tuffy mechanics checked my brakes, confirmed the brake pads and rotors were fine (and even had at least another 4,000-5,000 miles of friction left), topped off my brake fluid, and added a little air to my tires--all as a courtesy at no charge!

Had a tire issue and they took us without a reservation. Said it would be about an hour and the job was completed within 20 minutes. Extremely polite and cost was very fair. I would recommend them any auto issues.

Today the owners of Tuffy in Bonita Springs made not one cent, but saved me $180.00! Yes, Kris took the time to assist me with a problem with my Cadillac and even referred me to another business in the area. In the end the keyfob was repaired for a minimal amount. Only a business with the highest degree of integrity treats customers in this manner. Thank you!

Honest. They told me straight up that my car was not worth the amount of work it was going to need. Did not try to talk me into fixing this or that to try to make the car last longer. As a single mom, working 2 jobs, I appreciated the honesty.

They were unable to assist me and sent me to another place. Would have given 5 stars but the paper with stamped address was NOT the correct address. Luckily the way place was only 2 minutes from the given address and the telephone number was right.

Never had a problem with our a/c. Went there just to get their special on recharge and suddenly theres a leak and itll cost $1400 to repair!! Do agree they are super friendly but was told by another local mechanic to skip them. So spent $100 and change to get a $1400 repair ugh!!

We moved to FMB last October. Over the past few weeks, I was noticing my brakes were making a noise and getting worse. This was the first repairs Ive had to do on my 2010 Denali since I bought it. Not knowing who to go to, I went online and found Tuffy Auto in Bonita Springs. I took my vehicle in on Saturday morning just to see if they could take a look at it. Kris was outstanding, said he would take it in but could not guarantee it could be fixed on Saturday since they closed at noon. He was able to get the brakes and rotors replaced and I was ready to pick up by 11:30am. That is awesome customer service and we will be back for any unforeseen automobile issues. 👍👍

Went in last week with my Nissan 350z because it was making a noise and my service engine soon light was on. They took me right away and spent at least a half an hour diagnosing the problem(s). Turns out I was low on transmission fluid and my service light was something they fixed right away. When it was time to pay - they said no charge - just come back if you need us! The entire experience was excellent. Great customer service, excellent communication, they fixed my cars problems!, and the prices were fair. I highly recommend them!

Best auto shop in town. Allen and Ronaldo always take care of me. One thing to note about them is their honesty. They dont jerk you around like some of the other local auto places. They dont fix things that arent broken. Alan the manager is wonderful, i go to them regularly. As a car guy i HIGHLY recommend them. I went into the shop with fluids leaking in my car, it was taken care of very quickly, and the staff was very friendly. I was shown how to refill the fluids myself so I didnt have to keep going back to the shop. So glad I chose to bring my car to them! Will definitely be going back in the future.

If I could leave no stars, I would. My car started making a constant ticking noise, so I took it in to solely have someone come outside and listen to the noise. The man behind the counter informed me that no employees were available and it would be an hour and a half wait. There were clearly two employees standing around and one unloading inventory. I pointed it out to the man, asked again if someone could just listen to my car and he responded with as I told you before, it will be an hour and a half wait. I was so insulted at the attitude and poor customer service I received, especially when I have used Tuffy in the past. This was a sure way to lose a long standing customer.

My cars machine oil was leaking last week. I took it to a dealer on Airport Road, and got fixed. However, the engine light was flashing suddenly on Monday (Mar. 17th). It vever happened before. A friend suggests me to go to Tuffy in Bonita Springs and check it. I did it today, and experienced great. Mr. Kris Miller and his wonderful colleagues helped me check my car, and found the problem. Actually it is that dealers fault. They unplugged a part, but forgot to plug it back after job down. That is why the engine light was on, and the car was shaking. Kris fixed it in a couple of minutes. I can tell that Tuffys team is friendly, effective, and honest. Expensive price never represents high quality. Choosing a honest and responsible auto center is the smart decision. Tuffy Auto Service Center (Bonita Springs) is the RIGHT place to go.

If you ever need brake work done on your car, these are the guys to do it! Theyre the best! Theres an expression in business In the long run, its HOW you do business, not just how much business you do!. These were the most ethical, customer-oriented car guys Ive ever met. I thought my guys back in New England were good. These guys are even better! I put new rear brakes on my Honda CRV only 10,000 miles ago, and to my surprise, they started making noise, as if it were a warped rotor. Well, they pulled the wheels and discovered to my surprise that my guys in New England didnt do the job properly. The Calipers were not sufficiently lubricated and didnt fully release. This meant overheating on my brand new Brembo rotors, which supposedly dont warp. Well, I guess thats not true. Also, they taught me that ceramic pads are cooler than semi-metallic pads and make less noise. I didnt know that.I wanted to highly recommend this Tuffy operation and say the customer service provided by Owner Kris Miller, Sales Manager Alan Wilsker, and mechanic Reed was second to none. They were courteous, efficient, and they knew their stuff. Now I know better than to get semi-metallic brake pads again.I give these guys the highest possible grade and being honest, trustworthy, and easy to do business with.
