There is actually a lot of quality items in this store. I was impressed. I thought Big Lots was more like a dollar general type place, so I never stopped in to shop in the past, but I was so wrong. I stopped in to find a bedding item that I was unable to find elsewhere. I found the item here and I found so many other items in this store that I wanted to buy. The store is very clean. They even have furniture and I am not talking cheap looking furniture. There is nice furniture in this store as well as the items. I recommend and will shop here again.

Employees are helpful. Good prices on basics needs. Star taken away because the furniture is in front of all your needs. I rather see the basic needs in front!

Found some good bargains. The store looks very different. Enjoyed my visit.

Went to the independence location, purchased a fireplace to pick up the next day. The wrong one got tagged in the back and they sold the only one they had left which should have been the one I purchased. They did redund it and I had to go to the blue springs location. The sales manager sold it to me and I told him I wanted to load it in my SUV. I have fit alot of big things in my SUV. Without even looking at it, he told me it would not fit and told me to download bungii to schedule delivery. I had a hard time trying to figure out which one I needed to download because there are several bungii apps. He offered no help at all. He acted like he didnt even care if he made a sale. Went back told them to just refund me because I cant get help on any level, he did not care. Just, ok. Smh. I MIGHT order online from biglots again, maybe,but probably wont visit anymore stores

Big Lots is the only store that carries my favorite Pizzelle cookie in a variety of flavors!! I also enjoy the large selection of home goods and seasonal decor. Love to shop here!

Very clean easy store to maneuver. The cashier was very friendly. I accidentally left a bigger item at the store. I called and they had the item and agreed to put my name and phone number on it so I didnt have to run right back up. Thanks!

I havent been in Big Lots for years. Had a lot of different stuff you dont see at the big box stores. I didnt buy anything, I was killing time and decided to check it out. Basically overstock items, but prices are okay. I gave it 4 stars because they didnt have most of the stuff that was in their ad.

Teach your furniture sales associates how to sell and not run off customers who then went down the street to buy.Terrible sales training leads to sub par results and your sales associates are both sub par and under trained or not trained at all.

I love big lots! You just have to know how to shop there. Check certain food endcaps for really cheap snacks. Highly recommend the $1-$2 masks of all kind. (And for many different parts of the body.) I could say much more... I just dont have time.

I find myself shopping more at Big Lots Blue Springs more than Wal Mart. Customer service is consistently outstanding. Store is always well stocked and clean.

Everything you know and love from this classic retailer. I bought a trash can and will definitely come back for other house hold necessities. This place is also great for foodstuffs including imported snacks and basic meal prep materials. Im not sold on the furniture however, its mass produced Chinese made and likely isnt worth the investment.

Ive been watching the prices at different places on blankets and travel mugs. I found Big Lots with the same prices and some even higher than Walmart and other box discount stores

Went to Big Lots this past Saturday looking to purchase toilet paper. They were out of toilet paper like all stores. I was told by an employee they sold 2 pallets of toilet paper to one customer. We are in a major health crisis and we all need to do our part. All need paper goods(toilet paper and paper towels etc.) and cleaning supplies for all to be healthy and stay healthy. Big Lots shame on you.

This is a national chain discount variety store. You never know quite what theyll have in stock, but that adds to the mistique and charm of the store. Its a great place to kill an hour or so!

If you want to go to a mini Wal-Mart with good prices then this is the place! It has grocery, bath, and basic necessities and furniture. The only main thing they dont offer is baby and auto items. I love this store!

Found a sectional I wanted at the location in Independence but they were out of stock so I was informed that the Blue Springs location had one and that I could call and have it held. I called the Blue Springs store right before close and was immediately told that they didnt have it, the woman who answered didnt pause to check or anything, I told her that the Independence location checked the computer for me and her response was the computer doesnt always have the right stock numbers which I understand for most things but how do they just lose an entire sectional? I just mostly feel that she was very short and unhelpful because they were closing and lost an easy $600 sale.

Great for buying plasticwate, and Containers. Medium quality at low prices. Always have seasonal decor items, and off-brand snack items to explore.

Has a variety of knick knack items. As well as plenty of furniture and yard decor. Decently priced we come here just to look around sometimes and occasionally find good deals.

Great customer service! Great products. I have purchased all of my furniture there. Just got my new bed there.

They had bamboo pillows priced at $19 but they ring up, they were $30. I pointed out the price tag on the pillow, and the cashier stated they were not theirs. Granted it did say Ross is on there but I let her know that every single one of the pillows back there had that same price tag on there. So she let me know that she would inform management and I inform her to take the pillow off my purchase order. They should pay better attention to when they are stocking their stuff and price their stuff accordingly, because there was no price stating other than the $19 on the pillow. I will not shop that Big Lots again. I did drive down the road to the Gordmans two exits down, and got a fine quality bamboo pillow for $20.
