I recently purchased 2 gallons of Agreeable Gray from the SW store in Bloomsburg, PA. When we opened them to start painting, we found that they were 2 different colors- and we werent sure that either of them were actually the color we ordered. We realized this 10 minutes before the store closed and I live 20 minutes away. I had a friend over to help paint and had hired a babysitter for the evening. Needless to say, we couldnt paint that night and now the project is a day behind. The next morning I drove the 20 minutes to SW and was waited on by Mike (the manager). He agreed the paint was different colors and began making the correct paint. I asked if I could get some sort of refund for the mistake/inconvenience and he said oh I wont charge you anything for this AS IF HE WAS GOING TO CHARGE ME FOR THE PAINT I ALREADY BOUGHT. ?? He was rude, unprofessional, and had horrible customer service skills. He kept saying Im making this right (by giving me the paint I should have gotten the first time I purchased it) and acted like that alone was beyond sufficient. I thought I could trust Sherwin Williams to give me the product I ordered the first time. Instead I wasted a lot of time, money, and had to make an extra trip to the store. I highly recommend you get your paint elsewhere.

Store clerks are always friendly and patient. if they are not familiar with your painting techniques you need they will take the time to look it up so you get everything you need for the job. Love this store. they even help you with color selection if needed.

I wanted to take advantage of the 40% sale. I was informed they dont carry water based Super deck stain. It would have to be special ordered. I only needed two gallon, I was told I would have to pay for minimum order of 4. Still waiting to hear from district manager.

Best products in the industry...period. You get what you pay for, you want to go to Lowes or HD, because its too expensive or they keep raising the prices you will get low solids, poorly engineered products that dont cover or stand up to wear. Ben Moore can come close but unfortunately its always sold in hardware stores so I dont trust in the employees expertise like Sherwin.This is where the PROS go. Their industrial line and masonry no one can touch. Every paint they make is so easy to work with, and when I made the mistake of ONCE using a combination of BEHR, Glidden, and Valspar (all their most expensive mind you), it doesnt even touch the cheapest of Sherwin Williams. The time and money you will save in labor, frustration, ease of use, durability, and coverage, doesnt put a price sticker on those gallons of SW.Unless you like to turn a 2 hour job into a 3-4 coat nightmare by being cheap, stick with good old Uncle Sherwin.
