My friend and I received excellent service from Luis and the entire staff while dealing with a very specific strange situation trying to bring my old number to Verizon. They stayed late two days in a row trying to get answers from my old service about process and did everything they could to try to figure out the problem. Great customer service -- they truly went above and beyond.

Had the misfortune of working with Cruz. I went for assistance getting a new phone set up (Ive been a Verizon customer for years). He immediately started by saying why are people afraid of setting up their phones. He clearly did not want to assist me. Apparently, he had better things to do despite me being the only customer. Cruz was rude and condescending. Rushed through the set up, was done incorrectly and now I have to go to another store to have it done right.

A few months ago I was at the Berwyn location and they helped me get back into my phone and I wrote a review because they helped me big time. The guys at the store were pushing me to give them a good review and I did so because they helped me out a lot at first but after I wrote that review everything went downhill. It seemed like after I wrote the review they didn’t seem to care about my issues with me phone. I was told my bill would be an affordable price but it was far from it and I had to go back into the store multiple times to figure out what was wrong and there was really not much help. I’ll be switching to another service because Verizon was no help at all to me after multiple phone calls and visits to the store.

My experience at Verizon in Berwyn was absolutely phenomenal! Ms. Rocio Gonzalez warmly welcomed me into the store, patiently explained my options, inquired about what I needed, and made sure that I only purchased what was necessary. Most importantly, she was completely transparent about pricing and treated me with kindness every step of the way (even when I asked her a lot of questions). You could not ask for a better expert! I was also under a time crunch, and she tried her best to expedite the process for me. Ms. Gonzalez made what is usually a very stressful experience for me, an enjoyable one!

Poor customer service first and last time I stop by at this location. Trying to convince my husband to switch over from T-mobile and arrive at the store only one other person in store with a representative and are told at the door only one of us can come in that if we want one of us can come inside get the information and then we can go to the one sitting in the car and relay said information. Please explain to me how that makes sense? I understand if the store was busy but they had 1 single client. Skip this location and go to Hodgkins even if they do require an appointment much better service than here.

If youre ever at this location, please ask for George! I walked in and was helped immediately. I had the intentions on upgrading from my iPhone 8 to get an 11 but did not know which version of the 11. George has the patience of a saint. I was contemplating on the Pro Max or the Pro. George explained the differences to me to help me decide which would suit my needs better. Initially I asked for the Pro Max and when he came back out with the phone, I changed my mind as the phone was too big for my hands. He did not skip a beat and went to the back again to grab the Pro. As a retail associate myself, I would have easily been annoyed but George was awesome and had no issue with it. He even walked me through the package where you get 3 items (IE. case, screen protector, etc) for a set price, which at the end of the day saves you money. Overall my experience was amazing and I would recommend this location to anyone.

The Rep Adam doesnt know what he is doing. Did a instore pick on my account my sister is an account manager called customer care while in store to verify that she was but Adam still would not give the iPad to my sister. Easy pull thru for you. So called customer care back to get it taken care of but my sister didnt want to return to the store because of Adam specifically. So canceled the order went to Hinsdale instead and picked it up no problem. If your going to have employees working make sure they are trained enough to do a simple instore pick up.

Abysmal service from the manager and from the rent-a-cop. Came in with my mom to help her get some information about switching get plan, as she has difficulty understanding english (and the people that work dont seem to speak proper spanish) I with herto help. First the rent-a-cop that stand guard spoke to everybody that walked to the door with a such a condescending tone and was completely rude. Finally when the large customer service man made his way to the door and asked what we needed, I informedhim a appointment was made for my mom. He then said only one person was allowed in the store which was news to us because we were there less than 3 days and the rule then was no more than 2 people at a time. Meanwhile there were other groups of peopleinside? Absolute nonsense! He then tried to say it was the law? What law? Ive seen many stores with groups of people inside (especially other verizon stores). Skip this place, its obvious only complete idiots that work here.

Went to Verizon with my husband because we noticed our business calls weren’t coming in. When we attempted to call the business number with another phone, a completely random person answered. Obviously we were concerned, but when we discussed this with the Verizon business manager, it was as simple as resetting an app. My real concern was this happening again, so I asked why this happened because it is extremely important that your company phone works properly. He would not even look at me and only address my husband and I ultimately got a “I don’t know what to tell you, it works now”. I love Verizon’s service but I don’t think this is any way to treat a customer, especially if they have 10+ lines. I get it, he doesn’t care if our business survives until tomorrow as long as we pay that Verizon bill. Looking for a new phone company that values their business customers enough to not give their company number to someone else and not even care to investigate why.

Updating my review from 1 star to 3 stars thanks to an awesome employee named George. I went back to this location to give it another chance since my last experience was terrible. This time i went to activate an Apple iPad Air that i ordered from Apple. I was the first one to be attended n lucky for me it was George. He explained to me how everything was going to work from activation to how much it would b monthly adding the new line. Got me my new sim card for my iPad and was very helpful n patient. George is a keeper.

Feels like a lot of space but not a big range of items to choose from (limited supply probably true of most other branded phone service stores too ) but compared to others, there is usually a long wait for service, and not a very good space for waiting unless you want to stare at the merchandise. But watch out how you touch stuff - annoying loud alarms go off.

I agree with the prices being too high but store is clean, cashiers are friendly and courteous and I feel safe. I cant blame the store for locking bathrooms on the 3rd shift if there is only one person in the store! Its too dangerous out there these days. In fact, I cant believe there are gas stations that still have only one employee on third shift for safety reasons, alone!

I have waited in this store before even while it wasnt crowded. i have had the pleasure of working with Cleveland and I agree with other reviews, he himself is a great customer service rep. However, there was a time I went into this store and someone gave me false information about getting a tablet which eventually I had to call Verizon about several times. The issue was never resolved even though they told me several times that it was, I ended up being on the phone for hours and they had gotten HUNDREDS of extra money out of me. You would think I would be done with them right? Well, I stayed and I asked them several more times to remove the caller ID from my phone. They said they would several times in 2018. ON TODAY (over 6 months later), the charges are still there AND ANYTIME your account has to do with a previous phone call or rep that was supposed to do something regarding money, suddenly, they can never find the phone call or the notes from the previous rep in order to ACCURATELY solve my problem or give me a credit. I call it stealing so you guys just beware AND take your own notes, MAYBE it will matter even though its still your seemingly irrelevant word against a top gigantic global communications company. Did I mention how sometimes my phone goes out of service and says the mobile network is down yet the plans are expensive???

I was having an issue understanding the fine details of a promotion that Verizon was offering. They didnt help me today, when we got the new phones we bought life time warranry for screen protector shields and today when we needed to get new ones installed, she told me, we dont have them anymore, you have to contact the company online. When i paid for them, they told me, any time you need to replace them, bring your phones here and we do it for you, they did not tell me of any warranty or going some where else to replace the shields. From now on am going to record any thing they say to me.

I came to this Verizon because I had a phone (ordered online) to return and needed to go to a corporate owned are.I can ready for what I expected would be a long, drawn out return process. To my surprise, it was fast and painless!The agent (and security guard nearby) were generally upbeat and even laughed at my attempts at humor to pass the time. But to my amazement, the return was some soon after it started. After a scan and a few taps on his tablet, the agent was done and I walked out with my receipt.Thanks for the painless return Verizon!

At first the experience seemed really great. We were adding a line of service and buying two new phones. The sales person was extremely helpful. He let us look and test devices without bothering us. And when we decided on phones, he facilitated porting one number from another provider and transferred all contacts from two old phones to two new phones. He even offered us an extra home charger or car charger because he could only provide an advertised discount on one of the phones we were purchasing.But...we later realized that the salesperson actually did charge us for the free charger and we also discovered that he added Total Protection insurance to our phones - without every mentioning it. We have canceled the Total Protection - but are still working to get it off the first months bill.As for the charger...when I contacted Verizon (online) I was told to just return it. I had contacted the store twice about this but never got a call back. So I took the charger back to the store. The sales person - and then the manager - informed me that I could not return it without incurring an upgrade charge of $30 on one of our lines. They said that is why they gave me the charger - that they waived the upgrade charge. But that is not what we were told when we were first in the store. In fact. if it was, I would never have agreed to it. I didnt really need the charger AND it actually cost more than the supposed $30 upgrade. They finally did refund the cost of the charger, but only after I lost my temper and basically said I would not leave the store until they took the charger back.So my warning to others dealing with this store - just make sure you question everything - and review everything they put in front of you to sign (I was being asked to sign things while I was on the line with my old provider getting info for the porting process). They talk a good game. They do provide some good service. But at least in my case, they also try to sneak things past you.

Ive never had a good shopping experience here. This last time it took over 45 minutes to get a new phone hooked up on our plan. Theres almost always a wait and the bait and switch tactics used for their deals are very deceitful (that is a company wide problem, not a location specific problem).

Went with Verizon last year. Signal and internet performance is great. Never had a isues. Since i paid off my phone. wanted something different. So I got one of their iphone 7plus not sure if it was used or new.So after multiple attempts to get one. Only option was online. So sure enough did that. Got it through fedex. Turned on the phone and it was beyond slow and glitchy. Ive owned a 7plus before when It first launched years back. One i owned years back was quick and perfect even tho I dislike apple. This one I got from VERIZON felt like they got a awful trade in and tried tricking the next customer to sign off on this one. I didnt even use it since i was busy. kept my note. Disappointed in Verizon. I feel like i was ripped off. And now i only have a iphone 7 plus only for the flash light :/

I went there about a month ago to start a service with Verizon, I was taken care of by Rocio and I must admit at first I thought it was all fine. She tells me she’s going to give me all these accessories for the 3 phones I was purchasing, that it was bundle for switching companies. I’m like okay fine “how much is this going to be?” She tells me “no don’t worry it comes with the phones as a bundle.” So I asked her if I wasn’t going to pay for it and she said no, even the manager said it wasn’t going to pop up in my bill. I paid $350 to what I thought was my activation fees and for the phones and what not. I took a look at my bill and it’s $500! I called customer service and they said that I got charged all the accessories I so called got “free!” Now I keep going to the store and looking for this lady rocio and she’s never there or she’s out in lunch. Apparently nobody can help me. Watch out going here because not once did she ask me if I was interested in BUYING anything. If I would’ve known I wouldn’t have gotten anything. Now I’m screwed paying for things I never wanted!

Buyer Beware - Ive had Verizon Wireless for over 6 years. I went to this store to upgrade my old Samsung Galaxy 8 to a Galaxy 9. The sales representative kept pushing new items on me to buy. I told him I did my research and just wanted a Galaxy 9. He told me about getting $100 of an iPad because I was purchasing a Galaxy 9. No Thanks I said. Then he kept pushing me to buy the screen protector to offers a 1 year guarantee. When I looked up the price on my Amazon account, he said that if I buy on Amazon then the company will not guarantee the 1 year. Whatever. What really tipped me over the edge is when he had me sign the paperwork. Since I already had an account and I was just upgrading the phone, the paperwork was to be easy. He told me to sign twice on two pieces of paperwork via his tablet, but didnt explain anything. I found out 24 hours later that I was automatically signed up for the $13/month device insurance that I told the sales clerk I did not want. Basically, he had me sign the one sheet for the upgrade of the phone and another sheet for the device insurance. Very devious and not trustworthy. I would go to the Verizon store either in La Grange or Hillside. The Verizon store in Berwyn lacks integrity!

Went in with my girlfriend to upgrade her phone 5/28/18. The representative tried selling phone cases and screen protectors marked up to over 100% Amazons price. When I pointed this out, he said the products werent the brands products, nor were the stores affiliated with the brands represented. After contacting those stores I can confirm thats a lie. Additionally, my girlfriend declined to get the insurance. The representative selected that option then turned his screen away. Apparently, he changed that selection back to the $13/month without saying anything and rung her out.Youre going to get scammed at this store.

Whom When ever Adam is, hes very rude. Went in store to switch note 7 defect for new one and was told u have to pay past due balance (by 2 days)before proceeding. No, I called customer service and they said other wise. This isnt our fault that Samsung has defects on devices that we purchased. After that was squared away, Verizon associate in store says they are charging to transfer from one phone 2 another so make sure u have cloud to backup you memory. Worst experience ever. I dont understand Adam though saying rude stuff to 611 when she called to ask y i wasnt being help he says Im not gonna stop helping someone for her she has to wait. This was the WORST telecommunications experience EVER. I will never visit this store again. They lost my pictures. ALL! They set up my new phone and when I left the store, driving home I realized I couldnt make phone calls, had to turn my car around and come back to store for them to fix this issue, which took another 30 minutes for them to even figure out what was wrong to correct it. Then as if this experience couldnt get any worse, I was sold a 16gb phone instead of a 65gb phone which is what I had discussed in great detail with my unprofessional sales rep. I need more memory in my phone so now I have to go back up to this God awful place for yet another mistake to be corrected. I am going to take a deep breath, say a prayer before entering this ghetto because now I am highly upset. This is just piss poor service. Save your time and do not visit this store.
