The communication was good. Edd was the salesperson and he did a fantastic job. The dealership was really slow about my trade. It took them 3 hours to basically say were not going to give you much for your trade. So I had to go to carmax to trade my car in. After that and coming back it took another 2 hours to buy the truck. The truck was great and the people are friendly just reduce the time by say 4 hours

I take good care of my vehicle, but they had several recommendations for improvement. The Jeep has never driven better! I am not overly impressed with David Taylor Belleville. A long time customer of Oliver C. Joseph, this was nothing like the dealership I have become accustomed to. First of all, I called Monday morning to make an appointment. I was told everyone was busy and they would call me back. Tuesday afternoon, still no call back so I called again. Not a good FIRST impression. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by the service rep with these words, I will be with you in a moment, I have to fix my hair first. Not a good SECOND impression. I spent about an hour-and-a-half in the waiting room waiting for the oil change to be done. During that time, not one employee spoke to me with a simple hi, hello or how are you. I didnt seen any employees smile and in fact, most looked like they didnt want to be there. One employee came out from the Parts Department, stood in front of the television for five minutes, blocking a show I was watching. When he walked away and seen I was watching, he didnt even have the courage to apologize. Not a good THIRD impression. Honestly, I did not feel like my business was appreciated or they wanted me to come back. Maybe they just assumed I will...but they might be wrong. There are other Chrysler dealers in the metro area I can go to, thats for sure. Oh, and obviously, jobs have been eliminated under the new ownership which didnt make me happy. No longer pay with the cashier but with the service rep. Overall, not impressed from the first phone call and less impressed when I left yesterday. Maybe some customers dont care how they are treated, but I do, and if not treated properly, I can take my business elsewhere. David Taylor, take note.

Clean shop inside and out. Even the maintenance area is clean. Great customer service. I enjoyed my visit here. However the air wasnt working in the main showroom area which made me extremely sick and hard to want to look around for a vehicle, it was bad enough it was hot outside.

Great first car experience! Everyone was super nice and my salesman Jason Kuhn was very helpful. He stayed in constant contact with me throughout the couple days that the sale took place and he was ahead of the game when it came to little things and paperwork. Everything was ready to go for us when we came to finalize the sale. He made my first car purchase ever very smoothly and I will definitely buy another car from this place again in the future.

In my opinion it is not a good dealership to do business with especially for used cars. They do not tell you what all you were signing they hurry up and rush you in and then rush you out. They don’t give you all the paperwork they don’t tell you what you’re doing what your finance fees are going to be. Then a few weeks later you finally get your car payment in the mail and then you’re wondering why you paid such a little amount on a used vehicle and then your interest rate is so high. Then you go in and try to finagle to get out of it and they won’t even help you with any of it. This company is crooked and I have no remorse for anything you have to say. I would not recommend this place or anything

Father in law and I went up to buy a Ram pickup. Browsed for thirty minutes and picked out a good fit. No salespeople around. Walked up to the showroom and finally ran into a salesman. Believe his name was Justin or James. We went back out to the lot and waited. Pop saw a salesman leaving who explained the dealership closed 15 minutes prior. Still got my father in laws info and never called. Ended up buying from Cassens.

I bought a truck and was a bit hesitant as I did most of it over the phone and was coming from 7 hours away to buy it. The truck was as described and they were kind enough to pick me and my wife up at the airport and even stopped for a quick bite on the way to the store. This place used to take care of us when it was Oliver C Joseph Dodge, but ever since it changed to Dave Taylor the service has gone downhill. We purchased warranties and special promotions less then 3 months ago from Oliver c Joseph and Dave Taylor dodge does not honor them. The service dept used to be great and really cared for the customers when it was ran by a nice gentlemen who is a retired military member but since the new ownership and changeover in the service dept, we don’t feel like they have our best interest in mind. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.

This was by far the best experience I have had in purchasing a vehicle. Nick went above and beyond making me comfortable and had me use different routes on the test drive to see how well the car handled on different roads. Tony in finance was very helpful and neither of them tried to pressure me into buying something different or add-ons I didn’t want. That has always happened in the past at other dealers. I drove over an hour for this car and the way Nick and Tony treated me was well worth the drive. Everyone else I encountered today was extremely helpful and pleasant.

In the beginning of the month of August, our vehicles engine was flooded. Considering that we purchase and had the service it from Oliver C Joseph, that was our only option to have it service there. Oliver C Joseph Service department is on a different level, on letting us know that the vehicle was there and what we were waiting on. We asked the for updates throughout the whole service and Jennifer from Service is the best, she has literally been there for us since the beginning of this. In fact she has actually gone above and beyond on helping us out with a spare vehicle as well. Oliver C Joseph is past customer service, in fact to us they have exceeded it. Oliver C Josephs service department provided me with amazing service! I have a very busy schedule and I could never find a time to get my oil changed in my car. Oliver C Joseph took great care of us! We had an issue with our radio and phone function. They were able to easily and quickly fix the issue. We werent able to pick up the van that night due to unexpected work issues, but went Saturday morning to pick it up, not realizing the service department wasnt open on weekends. Being a holiday weekend, we were told we wouldnt be able to get it until Tuesday. Luckily we were able to find someone who helped us and were able to get our van back without having to wait. Great customer service!!

Found a Jeep on cargurus that was at this dealership drove to go buy it, found out that they messed up they price online and wanted 8,000+ more for what the listing price was and did NOT honor their listing. The manager wouldnt even come out and talk to us. Definitely wouldnt recommend visiting or buying a car from this dealership if they arent going to honor their prices!

I’ve had multiple bad experiences at this dealership. I been lied to, disrespected, and inconvenienced repeatedly. Most recently, I dropped my car off for maintenance at a scheduled time. I called to check the status twice before picking it up. The first time they had no idea what the status was and said they would call back. She didn’t. I called back an hour later just to find out that after 6 hours of sitting there, my car wasn’t touched. The service rep blamed me for her error. I rearranged my work schedule and arranged childcare to have my car fixed, and still need an oil change and headlight fixed. They’ve done a poor job fixing my car in the past and haven’t been able to find issues I brought my car in for. If you are looking to buy a car here, I hope you plan to do your own maintenance on it.

Purchasing a new vehicle in the middle of a pandemic is a little tough to say the least, but Oliver C Joseph made it easy. My salesman, Brian, was very knowledgeable and was able to get me the exact vehicle I wanted. Tony, in finance, made it look easy. No dealership math that others have tried in the past. I just bought a Jeep Renegade from Oliver C. Joseph. My salesperson, Jason, was very helpful and explained all the fine points of my vehicle. The only part of the experience that might turn a prospective customer off is the Moose Package. I admit that the services in this package could be very useful, but the customer should, at least, be given a choice whether they want this package or not. The extra $1400 added to the cost of the car could be a deal breaker for some people.

After haggling with salesmen at a few other dealers, for several hours at a time, Brian was able to close a deal in 20 minutes, pain free! He made sure that everything I was looking to make happen, got done the way I wanted. In fact, he was so great that I sent a friend a text referral before even getting to the finance office! Maybe needs a better surprise face. Saw another, the salesperson said hed go get the key. The facility is very nice and the people are friendly, however I am here today for services which I was not told about pricing when I made appointment and hourly rate for service is outrageous. I have even researched with other Dodge dealers and $159 hourly is outrageous Was given 3 different prices and settled for 648 for an oil change and transmission line replacements.plus hourly diagnosis rate . ItThe first price 8ncluded oil pan that was told needed replacement sometimes soon $998 .soon I waited on that brought it down to $720 . So I asked if there 8s any discounts for healthcare workers (RN) so he dropped it down 669. I still question it but I need my car. So I made some calls and basically everyone said I was being over charged but I already agreed to the price out of desperate need for it to be fixed. I just feel I was taken advantage of the situation.

Rodrick and Jennifer in the service department are the BEST. My 2016 Jeep Renegades air conditioner wasnt working, and we discovered a major issue that was extremely disappointing to hear. With the new frion in these vehicles, I could only get it worked on at a dealership. They both went above and beyond in helping me out and getting the service I needed the very same day! Wow!!! Where can I begin?? My sister and I were traveling from New Orleans area, and we broke down next to the St Louis Arch, and coasted off the bridge into East St. Louis. We were scared and unfamiliar with the area. We called this jeep dealership and they sent a shuttle and then helped us load everything out of my jeep into the shuttle and suggested a hotel for us to stay in. The next morning they located our part in another area, and went and picked it up and had us back on the road the next day. They sent a shuttle back to the hotel to pick us up. We even got to tour the train!!!!!! Everyone was super nice the shuttle driver Rick stayed an extra 3 hours waiting on our car to be towed so he could make sure we were safely dropped off at the hotel after we were able to get all of our luggage. Jenn at the service desk was amazing and helped with shuttle and hotel. The service manage picked us up the next day and was super nice!!! It was a very stressful situation, but was made so much better by the people at this dealership!! Its a great family owned business and we met Curtis whose great great grandfather ( I think its that many greatsl started the dealer.... If your in need of a new car head on over and get the same treatment!!!

I would not recommend this dealership. Everything started off awesome but then changed quickly. Once we started to look at numbers and pricing, the salesman keep leaving his desk to help another set of customers in the middle of our conversations. He would interrupt frequently with hold one sec and walk to another set of customers. When talking about the loan process, I was told they ONLY go through local credit unions since they like to keep business local. Well that wasnt the case. The 3 place that they ran my credit through are LARGE nationwide chains that do not have independent offices in the Belleville area. He also stated that he would look into the missing spare key about 20 times but never did. I was even willing to buy a new spare key but he kept forgetting to look into the pricing. If you arent buying a brand new car off their lot, they dont care about you.

Boy was I fooled, they come at you with what I would say is a disgrace to the term “lowball” when regarding your trade in. They will not entertain negotiating and treat you like you are a second class citizen that is not important at all. Took my Nissan Altima 2015 in to have AC looked at as it was blowing warm and they told me it was fine and also i told them my brakes had been squeaking and they said they were fine. Took it elsewhere and AC compressor gas to be replaced and brake pads replaced as well. Not a good experience for me at Oliver C Joseph.

I purchased a car here last Wednesday. They gave me a great deal and I love my 2017 Rogue. However, the next evening I tried to use the power outlet to charge my phone and found that it didn’t work. Neither did the one in the center compartment. I called Bryan and he said hed check with the service department and get back to me, probably just a fuse. He never called me back. I called several times and they basically ignored me and never helped me. I ended up taking it to a dealer close to me and they changed the fuse and got it working, FREE!! I will probably do business closer to home next time.UPDATE 11/13: I am absolutely stunned!! I don’t believe these people even look at cars they purchase from wherever, before they put them on their lot to sell!In October I made a trip to Overland Park KS, just before I made my first car pmt. I pulled into town and my brakes were squealing terribly. I pulled into a shop and they checked and said my front passenger side roster was shot. I called the dealership and after being on hold and finally getting ahold of the sales manager, they agreed to pay for it. Almost $400. Now, last week I went to get my oil changed and was told I only have 15% brake pads on both back brakes. How do you sell a car that has so many problems that seem easy to check and repair before you put it on your lot. I just don’t get it!! Shame on you for selling a car that hasn’t been thoroughly inspected!

We came to Oliver C Joesphs for repairs. The service Department is closed on the weekends... The dealership sales department is open on Saturday,service department is closed on Saturdays? Nowhere on google map in the hours did it say this. Why closed? Oh well...we made the best of it on a good deal! Since we drove all the way from St. Louis. So instead of wasting the trip. I have a previous rating regarding the sales experience and it was a positive experience.I bring my Jeep in for routine maintenance and have noticed several transitions in the service department; since the initial turnover, I’m very dissatisfied with the timeliness of their services.With the first service manager, I had no issues (Boyer was the last name I believe). I could bring my Jeep in for oil change and tire rotation and be out in 30-50 minutes. Since he left, it has consistently taken longer in the department with the most recent two changes taking just over two hours to be completed.I have discussed this with who was the second service manager (who is no longer there) and the dealership was supposed to loan me a vehicle for the duration of my wait period. It was apparently noted on my file, and I have yet to hear any mention of that availability for me. The last two times I’ve resorted to bringing work with me because I don’t want to waste time I could be doing something other than waiting in the waiting area and overhearing some of the drama going on with the employees.The last two oil changes and rotations (Around March/April 2019 and June 2019) I have waited for over two hours. I decided to give it one more shot waiting on the service department with the current wait I am having while writing this review. I likely have a nail or screw in my tire and I have been waiting an hour already. I have had this repair at another Jeep dealership closer to my home, and their service department had me taken care of in 40 minutes.I understand that there are busy times for service departments, but the last three times I have come in early morning in the middle of the week with no luck of avoiding the backup.Their service department clearly needs some assistance and perhaps more mechanics because very typical vehicle needs are taking more time for them to complete than a competitor.

My husband and I have bought a couple of vehicles while working with Dan Slaughter. He was great from the beginning to the end. Had such a great experience I recommended my oldest son go visit him. Needless to say Dan,without a doubt, came through for him as well. He has always been pleasant and easy to work with. Oliver C Joseph Service Center has always been reliable when it comes to repairing my Dodge Grand Caravan. I moved here from Michigan and its hard knowing who to trust. Jen has been very responsive and excellent at answering any questions I may have. They get my vehicle in quickly, are honest about the issues, and get it back to me when promised. The prices seem fair and comparable to others in the the area. Overall Ive been extremely impressed with them so far!

**I do not recommend the dealership due to dishonest sales practices**I was given a trade In value for my current vehicle without anyone actually physically inspecting it. I am aware of the value so that wasnt a huge concern.I was extremely disappointed when the quoted estimated payments for a $44,000 loan, including negative equity, was over a $1,000.00. If my credit report was horrible I would understand ( I had a copy with me), but it the credit check was not performed before the estimated was brought out. The explanation given was that my current car was half that cost when I purchased it, so the new loan payment would nearly double. I went a few towns over to another dealership where my car was physically inspected with a much more reasonable appraisal. The young lady also explained how the figures was equated in the loan quote. I was able to locate another vehicle with more of the options I wanted and although the cost is s bit more than I wanted to spend I happy with my decision. Although their sales team is beyond friendly and knowledgeable of there product I would not recommend this dealership. Id recommend transparency training and/or having a finance team explaining cost and charges on loans.

Was looking to trade my 2015 Dodge Charger in on a new Grand Cherokee. I worked with Bryan Garner. While my wife and I test drove the car he had my Charger appraised. While we were really close on the number I asked if we could squeeze a little more and they found another $500 rebate we were eligible for and I pulled the trigger. It was so great to work with Bryan, so much turnover in salesmen it was nice to find a guy with over 20 years sales experience. In addition, when I came to pick up the car he took over an hour explaining how all of the features worked until I could have been a salesmen. Had an excellent experience buying my 08 Mercury Mariner at Oliver C. Joseph. The salesman was attentive and friendly without over doing it. The manager came out and greeted us personally even though it was a busy day. No pushy sales tactics. My car runs like a dream and I got a great deal on it. I most definitely continues to take my 2005 Dodge Durango to the Oliver C Joseph because that is where I purchase my vehicle. I have not had any major problem with my vehicle. I take it in for its routine check up. I follow my intuition to continue to take my vehicle to the one place who has sold me a GREAT vehicle.
