Love the selection at all the stores, especially the deli area where the premade options are always delicious. They tend to be on the pricier side for things that you can get cheaper at other places like wine and beer, but they offer a great selection of beers that can be difficult to find.Downside...the store is always FREEZING 🥶though, like my kids know to bundle when we go there. I dont know if this is new, but every New seasons is always freezing inside. It makes it difficult when you have littles, so bundle up before you go! Especially on these cold rainy days! You wont get warmed up once youre inside !

I visited New Seasons today with a client to do job research. Everyone was very helpful with this process. Kiandra in housekeeping took the time to explain various job tasks that helped my client understand how important sanitation and cleanliness is in a supermarket. I appreciate the excellent customer service here and the staffs willingness to assist with anything.

So many customers not wearing masks while our kids are getting sick. I talked with Brandon who says they are not the mask police and he told me that the message you receive when you call saying customers are required to wear a mask is nothing but a lie to make you feel like you are in a safe environment when you are not. Thanks for honesty Brandon. Won’t be shopping at New Seasons anymore and encourage people who care about their family to do the same.

Great grocery store with a Whole Foods vibe. Enjoyed the in store dining. Fair selection of treats, including some vegan and gluten free options. Produce is quite overpriced.

New seasons deli and hot food are 2nd to none if your looking for something quick and simple.

I live near this store and shop here often. I also work with special needs clients and this is one of my favorite places to take them. Carrie at the front register who is a welcoming and friendly person was so wonderful today. My client was able to meet her and ask her about her job tasks. My client was so happy and enjoyed learning about Carries job. Thank you for always being fantastic!!!!!

One of the few places that carry this amazing lemon curd by a local portland company paradigm. I stock up because its made in small batches. So glad we seasons carries it. I just wish they would carry more of their flavors.

Service is amazing, love the selection. However, I will not be shopping at New Seasons again until they both let their employees unionize, AND until they come out with a formal ADA compliance statement, as in regards to their recent debacle with their stance on their stores not needing to be accessible. New Seasons employees deserve better, and they deserve a company that actually lives up to its values of the community.

Very upscale, but many items are priced well above their actual worth and can be found cheaper elsewhere.

This is my go to place for happy hour snacks and good international wine at decent prices. There is a lot to choose from and the people who help with the cheese selections are particularly kind.

Great place to get groceries, and most of the time the items are cheaper than Whole Foods with a better environment and selection. The staff is nice and remember regulars and theyre extremely helpful. The store is always clean and they do their best to maintain the CDC standards for shoppers.

New Seasons is fantastic choice for fresh groceries in Portland but this particular branch has an added bonus of a live food counter with a huge vegetarian assortment and among the best selection of freshly cooked international soups! Love the consistently friendly vibe, you guys are the best.

I have an expectation that the food I buy here is good food and comes from a trusted source. I confidently bought New Seasons frozen Woodstock Organic Baby French Beans.By chance I looked at the bottom label on the back of the package and there it was: PRODUCT OF CHINA.I am shocked. They wont source produce in our own agricultural powerhouse and sell green beans that and grown, harvested and processed in China?(According to the label they are only distributed, meaning transported, once they come to the US by Woodstock, Providence, Rhode Island.)This is a common vegetable that is grown locally and all over the US and they buy it from China?All I can say is, read the labels!I would appreciate an explanation from New Seasons why they sell only Chinese frozen green beans.I can guess: theyre cheaper, and that means more profit.By the way, Walmarts Organic frozen green beans are a Product of USA. Theyre much cheaper, too. (Food for thought....)

Great place to find local foods, fresh baked organic breads, and staff are always helpful. Good wine selection and meat dept. Can be a little pricey but many times is worth it.

Our favourite grocery store we love coming here for high quality authentic and standard food.

I would normally give it a 5-star rating for the healthy food selections, and knowledgeable staff. I love the atmosphere. However, the large self serve areas are gone, the seating area is roped off. It really takes away from the welcoming, warm feeling.. as with most places since this covid thing has decimated the feeling of community

Alway love coming here for their beer and wine selections. Pretty decent cheese selection but not the greatest. I pretty much never shop meat or bread stuff here. They do have a nice floral up front. Where I normally get flowers for the wife. Will be back for sure.

New Seasons market is always good for variety of fresh produce, good quality dairy, cheese selections and more. I am not a fan of the ready meals but they looked OK too.Customer service is always great.

This New Seasons has the best people working in it of any store I know of. They also have the best baked goods. That banana cake they make is to die for! I love this store.

At first New Seasons was great and people were distancing. Now people just walk the wrong way down the isles two wide with a cart - no regards for the narrowness, etc. They also dont spray/sanitize the carts and baskets anymore. And people are walking in/out the same doors rather than 1 way traffic.

Confusing their layout was not the best they had stuff everywhere and not organized at all but overall great service and good selection of products

Just moved into the area and have only recently started shopping here. Fantastic beer selection and knowledgeable, kind staff. Its true that youre going to spend a little more compared to a WinCo or Safeway but the quality speaks for itself.

One of my favorite stores for meat, produce, and organic food/products. It helps keep the cost down if you watch their flyer for deals.

I couldn’t find a product and asked a staff person who couldn’t find it either. However about 10 minutes later he did find it after investigating after I walked away and chased me down to give it to me I was so happy!

Excellent meat shop, produce section, and bakery, especially breads. Good selection of other items with many brands not found elsewhere. Hot and cold deli items with a seated dining area that is always clean and inviting. New Seasons is still offering a nickel off for customers own bags even under the new State regulations. A return to self-chosen soup samples would be nice.

Great for finding the items that other stores dont carry, a healthy premade lunch, or for a quick quality gift.

Finally found bread my wife loves. Its free of gluten, eggs, soy and tastes like real bread. New Cascadia is the brand.

I went in to do some grocery shopping but ended up getting kicked out for having my therapy dog with me, I find it ridiculous and extremely upsetting they won’t allow therapy animals. Won’t be coming back.

I love New Seasons. Their customer service is amazing. They have a delicious breakfast bar where you can get a tasty healthy warm breakfast. I hope that things stay the same or better since they are being purchased by outside interests. I wish they would have sold to their employees instead, but I dont make their rules.

Despite the problems with Covid the staff was very happy to see me again. I shop here regularly and the selection is wonderful. All of the produce and meats are very fresh.

Always friendly staff

I used to love coming here specifically for meat and bread despite the higher price point. It was a spacious and varied health food store that took care of its employees.But ever since New Season was bought out by Good Food Holdings - quality has gone down. The olives in the bread halved, bread became harder, and so much saltier. I couldn’t even finish eating my all time favorite focaccia bread. Now lines are long with Covid restrictions, and it’s not even worth the wait.The fish was pre-frozen and tasteless, and sausages don’t have as many selections anymore... I used to come here since 99’s and it appears I was lucky to enjoy it while the quality lasted.

I go out of my way to stop at this New Seasons, as they always have an excellent selection of Petunias Bakery cupcakes! (The Cookie Monster Baby Cakes are the best cupcakes in the world - you will never believe they are vegan!) I dont have time to make it to the downtown bakery, so I appreciate the great selection. Better than some of the other New Seasons I have tried to find them at, which sometimes run out or have less of a selection. Oh yeah, and the groceries are really good too!

New Season is our favorite grocer in the area. They carry organic and healthy food items. Try their deli the food is really delicious. Also, bakery bakes French and baguette 🥖 early am around 8 am which is super helpful and very yummy bread that is. Meat and produce are also great if you are looking for flavorful and tasteful fruit and vegetables.

Always clean, appealing and friendly

Lots of fresh, ready-made food options here, which is great if youre in a rush but want something healthy. The staff are super friendly. A bit pricey / upscale, though, so this isnt somewhere I shop often.

It is still a bit pricey, but I was impressed with the efforts to keep customers and workers alike safe from COVID-19. it is the best effort I have seen. Employees werent taking risks, everyone was calm and polite, just as if this werent happening.When we go there, the breads, meats, fish and produce are top notch fresh, well displayed and nicely ripe. Price is the only reason I visit less often.They also had lovely lupines, a variety I had not seen, displayed in great shape and in all their colorful glory. It was a pleasure to see them.

Second time we order wok bowls and they put in the wrong protein. They put tofu instead of chicken and my husband is allergic to tofu. I think the employees here target certain people and do it on purpose. Worse yet, they wouldn’t give us a refund. I have had Many really bad experiences here. A year ago I had my daughter sitting in the cart and a little kid kept coming up and pulling her leg really hard. I told him to stop several times and finally the last time he made her cry he pulled at her so hard that I was more stern. One of the two moms came up to me and threw and elbow at me and almost knocked me over. I had a huge bruise from it. I did not call the police. Then a few months later my car got hit and run in the parking lot. Done with this place. Besides the poor service I think it’s also dangerous.

I like how relaxing it is to shop here. I mainly go for the health care products and produce. New Seasons is my go to for good cheese,chocolate, and the amazing deli and salad bar. I think employees must really like working here because they always seem happy and confident.

This place is my reward store. When things go well in my life or I have a little money left over at the end of the month treat myself to lunch here. Great sandwiches, wonderful salads and excellent service. Try a sample of coffee, REAL coffee or maybe some soup. You will not be disappointed. Take your bank card, worth it.

While a tiny bit on the pricier side this place is amazing. Their house plant selection has been great during the summer (not sure about fall/winter yet) and the staff are SUPER friendly. I wish I knew his name to give him credit, but one cashier in particular was a total goof ball and I loved it.I havent tried the food yet but Im always seating people eating there and it smells amazing inside so I can only imagine its great as well.This place is definitely worth a visit when you ALSO have a little extra spending money. They have more than just food items in there. If youre looking for gifts, this place is great, too.

Best market in town!

We really like this place. The food is good, the staff is super nice, the prices are okay. Its a nice, homey place. Our little group knits there one evening a week.

They have really bomb customizable sandwiches, i like getting roast beef on sour dough with aole sauce provolone cheese, roasted red pepper, onions, and some other crunchy peppers will spice jt up a lot more to which I reccomend

They need to get rid of the moniker of the friendliest store in town and replace it with the smugest store in town.

We just love New Seasons Markets in general. If you are looking for something unique to serve as a meal or just a side dish, youll find it here. There are so many organic options. If you need essential oils or natural deodorant, this is the place. The associated that work at this particular location are so knowledgeable and friendly.

Above average quality. However there are few low end products. This store is primarily for middle to upper income customers.

Buffet is always cold but my friend loves it there so I zip it n just try to behave for my dearest friend ever... Howie. And, there is a microwave for my food heating enjoyment. The people are nice there. The prices are high there. And like the prices, Im usually high there too. Lol
