This was my first visit to this store. I don’t think I’ll ever need to go to tractor supply or Lowe’s ever again. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (which meant I spent more money than I planned). They had everything I needed easy to find and neatly organized. If you’re in the area and need hardware, auto parts, hand tools, power tools, or new doors for your home....go check this place out.

My personal opinion of this store is it is convenient. And I have shopped here numerous times because of that reason, however.. that being said I believe their turn around rate has to be extremely high. It has gotten better but to get someone to load you in the lumber yard used to be an act of Congress. Their prices are always higher, but it is located well so that makes up for some of it. Customer service is okay, they always seem to have someone waiting right when you walk in the door. Overall a decent lumber yard.

Selection is decent, but prices remind you that your shopping local.

The lumber department is slower than cold molasses. First they said they didnt have one of the two items I wanted, then another person said they had 300 of them and spent 45 minutes looking for it, only to find the first person was right.

For a long time I didnt care for this place. Still dont like not being able to pick my own lumber. But anyway, customer service is excellent. Ill shop here before lowes from now on.

Do not work for this company they short and rude. I wont go in to details but they a company obviously they do not care for their employees or their future employees.

Called to speak to a manager about their rude and smart aleck cashier (older man) but was put on hold for a very long time so Ill leave this review instead of calling again. Cashier is curt and cannot be bothered with store questions. I will not be going back, the store help doesnt know anything about their lawn equipment products.

Nobody at the service desk when I got there. Waited several minutes only for them to try to help the man that came in after me first, perhaps because I was in a t-shirt and track pants and he was in slacks and a button down... The return itself was fairly painless but I only had to go back because the salesperson sold my husband the completely wrong item in the first place, not the first time its happened here either. Perhaps they should train the staff better. Wish I liked this place because its much closer to me than Lowes or Home Depot but Ill drive the extra distance for decent service.

At one time, good for drive-thru lumber. Not anymore, lumber yard has terrible service, slow and inefficient, avoid if possible. Management has ruined this store.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff that go out of their way to help. A little more pricey than someplace like Lowes, but worth it to get expert help and no surly checkers.

The store was clean, had ample parking, and we were greeted by staff upon entrance to the store.However, though there was staff present who asked if we needed help, they couldnt help us with the building materials (doors, windows, etc) area. No one was available in that area.The Beaumont area is still recovering from Hurricane Harvey. The store should consider always having coverage in that area to accommodate those of us who depend on them for supplies as we rebuild our damaged homes.

This Ritters has an outdoor lumber express warehouse and the actual store inside for other things. They were helpful and nice. Plenty of parking space too. I know it cab get a little backed up sometimes since they usually only have a couple cashiers, but not big enough of an thing to call an issue. Its a good place to get some things on the go.

This is a mixed review. Overall, the store is very clean and organized and the employees very helpful. Their lumber department has an excellent selection and you can just pull your vehicle in to do your pick up. The one complaint I have is that I bought a Stihl weedeater there and had an issue in first couple days so I took it in as they are also a service center, next day they tell me its not worth fixing and to buy a new one. It was only 3 or 4 days old so I took it home and with a little fiddling it works perfectly now, I expected better from a certified service center.

I was helped by a man named Sergio. He was such a hard worker and very personable. Theyve got great customer service, and they made sure that they understood exactly what I needed. I wouldnt go to anyone else for my wood!

I really like this store. I havent bought a lot of stuff here, but if youre looking for something different than the chain stores, this is the place.

Pricey and needs more floor staff. Fair inventory but better choices for hardware and/or home repair needs are available.

The quality of the wood here is far better than home Depot or Lowes ! Absolutely love Ritter ! A little bit pricey er than the others but the quality makes up for that !!

Conveniently located but the employees are not so bright! I hardly ever complain but customer service there gets a thumbs down! Need to hire more experienced workers but I was able to find everything I needed by myself!

After spending over 20 k, over the last 12 months at Ritter, I was floored to hear that I could not swap out a kitchen faucet with out my receipt. I explained that I would spend days looking because I own Homecrafters construction company and go to home improvement stores sometimes 5 or so times a day. The Depot has never given me this issue. Ritters lost a contractor because of pore judgment and lack of customer appreciation.

Used to work there. Wonderful staff. Probably the hardest interview Ive had.

Called looking for tin. They csaid they had it in stock. Drove 45 minutes, paid for it, went to load to be told by the guys loading that they didnt have it in stock. How do you lose count on 40 sheets of tin? They guys in loading even made a comment that they have had that issue all day with people buying tin and them not having it in stock. You would think the manager would have at least adjusted the inventory in the computer.

I have bought atleast 10 Sthil products over the years. I recently bought a chainsaw, after a couple of months, the trigger wouldn’t work. I have never used a Sthil Warrenty. Ritter charged me 25 dollars plus tax to repair it. No explanation. Asked for a manager, they called one and said it wouldn’t do any good to talk to him. Sad

It blows! No communication between the people in the lumber pick up area, even inside they were very slow, one girl rushed to get on her lunch break leaving only ONE PERSON TO CHECK OUT CUSTOMERS!!

DONT BOTHER driving very far if youre going there for a sale item; they wont have it in stock and neither will they be honorable and give you a rain check for the item. They never intended to give you the item for the price advertised. If you take time out of your day to drive there, thats all they wanted! The old bait and switch. Oh well, that little trick they pulled just cost Mrs. Eaves a $3394.00 flooring sale. Well drive ANYWHERE to keep from buying it there now. I hope it was worth it; a business practice that back-fired against its own sales people!!! I gave 1 star obviously because ZERO stars was not a selection, just like the items in the ads arent in the selection. LOL !!!
