Called many times. Finally answered after about 5 separate times. Said they might have availability the same day or the next, called the next day after hearing nothing, then told to message their Facebook, did, then was told over 2 weeks out was available, once I got off work, said Id be good for that, then told almost a month out is the new availability. Never heard good things about the people either. Only heard the tattoos come out alright but customer support is completely out the window.

This place was great! Honestly from the outside, we were a little hesitant to go in because it did seem unprofessional, but once we got in, it was very clean and professional. Scott did two dinosaur outlines for me and my best friend. They were very well done, and he was very friendly. This was my fourth tattoo, and hurt the least out of all of them because his skill level. Not only were the tattoos done very well, it was also for a great price. Would highly recommend coming here, and will make the 2 and 1/2 hour drive from where I live for future tattoos!

The moment you walk into the Gallery you feel the professionalism, crisp, clean and COOL atmosphere.I had a incomplete vision which Scott easily created AND elevated my original concept!!!When you get a large tattoo done, you commit to spending a long time with a stranger...but I felt like a friend in a comfortable setting with good conversation. Plus the option of movies and music!My husband and I both got tattoos, and we are customers for life.

I dont doubt that the artwork is quality, however, I didnt feel welcomed to discuss size, placement, or layout with the designer or with the artist. I would have been more pleased with the result with opportunity for discussion.

Everyone there was amazing! Was in the area visiting family and got sister tattoos. They were funny kind and did a great job! Nice aesthetic of the shop as well.

He managed to get me in before we moved and I couldn’t be happier with the work. Everyone is welcoming, professional, and they work with you to get exactly what you want. Let me start by saying Dark tide has to be the cleanest, well lit tattooing shop Ive ever seen. Everyone there was so friendly. My sister & I was tattooed by Mike, first of all this guy is so talented & incredibly funny!!! My sisters & I were in there cracking up almost our whole visit! Mike blessed us with two tattoos (one each) of the ever beautiful Lotus flower.....all I can say is it nearly brought me to tears....its absolutely gorgeous! I Love it !!!! Can I just say the amount of concentration he has as he works is amazing & yet he stayed engaged with the three of us...real nice! The energy here is so welcoming. The guys here really do care. This is the only shop I will go to in SC for my tattoos. All the artist are not only experts in their fields, but also very passionate about what they do. Blake has done a full sleeve on me and every detail is better than I could have imagined. Give them a try, but do not expect walk in flash art, these are professionals who will only produce artwork. Instead of sloppy, quick pieces that other shops do.

Scott is an amazing artist! Hes also patient and kind. He tattooed my 83 year old mom today and she left with the biggest smile on her face and the perfect tattoo on her ankle! He also turned a scar on my arm that was the result of bullying into a work of art!
