They told me my card wasn’t going through so I ended up paying in cash and now have THREE charges on my card for all the times it “wasn’t going through”

This place has great food and the owners are so nice. So far, I have tried the wings, gyro, philly cheese steak, burger, and crawfish pies. All were excellent. My goal is to try everything on the menu eventually. So glad Akasha market is here.

This is a wonderful restaurant that has a lot of name of Greek and Arabic foods on the menu. You will not able to find the best foods with good prices in the town.

Nice place

Been here forever, staple of the community, good food basic groceries and even smoke products. Been coming here for over 15 years! Gets very busy on weekends because of the bars. Make sure to keep in mind that they are busy and popular and are not fast food but good food!

I love the foods from Akasha Markst! I bought the shrimp po-boys for my mother and she love it!!! Their cook is very accurate and know what to do with foods!! Also gyro. This gyro sandwich is so delicious and will make your mouth watery! It’s 100x better than the halal guys. Akasha Market foods are made from homemade.

The catfish poboy competes with Tonys across town. Skip McDonalds around the corner and get a burger here. Great selection of household items, canned goods and beverages including alcohol. Awesome staff.

WOW! The cheeseburger taste so delicious!!! These foods are real and very well cooked!!! And also they got the best gyro which is my favorite food from Akasha. If you want to try to eat gyro and come to akasha market only.

Akasha market is awesome and is definitely a baton rouge legend. Its been around forever and the family that runs it is crazy nice and friendly. Their burger is a monster and famous in baton rouge. The tigerland food scene is growing but this is definitely still the best place for amazing greasy soul pleasing drunk food when the bars close. If you go to LSU, check this place out. Theres even a hidden and semi-secret hookah lounge/ outdoor cafe/ patio thing that overlooks the golf course ponds where theyll set you up with hookah if youre cool and get in good with them.

Sat here for over 50 minutes as they made the wrong platter once, then gave my platter to some random person in the shop the second time
