Went in for a smog check.The place is very clean and well maintained. The guys are super friendly and they do a wonderful job on your car. Not to expensive. Friendly atmosphere.

I recently had my front brakes begin to go out. I had a friend do them and they started to squeak very loud and ugly. I then took them into a shop and they got me into changing the rear brakes as they were an issue they stated. They said theyll look into the fronts. When I picked it up and yes I paid a pretty penny the front brakes were still squeaky and LOUD! I was discouraged at this point. After talking to a few friends they recommend Barstow tire and Brakes. I never really took my car to any shop because my family is full of mechanics (but you know theyre busy lol). So, I was skeptical but Dave the man in the front was helpful. I did have to wait a bit but thats how business goes. Those negative reviews based on wait time to me its ridiculous. Cant expect everything to go as fast as you want hey if you dont want to wait do them yourself. The next day I got my car back and it is FIXED! And, the price was $130 less than I was quoted. Very happy and satisfied. Thank you!

You will find out pretty quickly if your driving though the area ITS HOT. These guys where great at helping me get back on the road after the government truck I was driving over heated and I couldnt find any one else in the area willing to work with me. Took it in and they had me back on the road in the same day on my way to help with a fire and get back to my crew. Good service and took the wex card we use 👍.

I just love this place as they do such a great job with everything and feel as though I can trust them with my car as I have 3 special children riding with me I want to make sure we are all safe and I get that from this company. Nick is the best customer service person I have ever met.

I HIGHLY recommend this shop for your auto repair needs. The guys are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and even fun to work with. I broke down twice near here coming and going. They took in my old rig and fixed her up in record time and for a good price. Love these guys.

Great amazing place. My boyfriend and I went there for an oil change on our RV, a 1984 Chevy Jayco. The people were beyond friendly and accommodating. They gave us a bowl of water for our dog, gave us pointers of what to see in town, and had amazing hospitality. Highly recommend this place to all. There was a bit of a wait due to them being first come first serve, but I will happily wait for they type of service I received. Just let the busyness reflect how the service is. :)

Broke down on way to Vegas. Didnt know any repair shops in Barstow. Took a chance on these guys and it paid off. They are honest, let you know whats going on and their prices are very fair. Everett and Michael are excellent. I hope I never break down in Barstow again (103 degrees), but if I do, barstow tire and brake will be my first choice. Thanks guys.

I had a flat on the way to Vegas. Headed over to Barstow Tire & Brake who quickly replaced my tire and got me going again. Very courteous and a good price. (Definitely 5 stars ... Oops, I fat-fingered my initial post with only 3 stars and had to update it.)

They help me to fix the broken valve on my brand new tires ( bought from Amer. Tire depot) without charging anything --very friendly and helpful great place! I recommend everyone should check out all their tires all wheel services!.

This place is incredible! Me and my girlfriend went there last week for a simple oil change in our older-than-dirt candyvan RV. A 1984 Chevy Jayco. They accommodated us on the same day, the prices were well priced, and they even offered water for our dog. They took some time to get to our rv but given the situation and their work ethic, I will happily wait. Cant say enough praise for this place.

Nic was wonderful the whole experience of getting the front end rebuilt on my vehicle was not cheap but the 5% discount for cash certainly helped. Great customer service.

Ive been going there for 15 years and I never have an issue, never have a problem, theyre always great at any problem that may come up!theyre always willing to tell me why I need to fix something . I went in for a smog check on my car . 20 minutes I was in there . It passed . great job guys !

Plain out rude dont recommend

Don’t do it the manger nick is rude and will try and scam you ! If you ask for front brakes you will get both front and back he’s playing some kind of game now I’m not sure if it’s intentional or he’s crazy but the manager nick had ruined this business.

Bad service had estimate but they very unqualified tires maybe but other brakes exetera could be dangerous idler arm was falling off had no broken motor mount brakes ok. I should actually get my 20 back they were underneath it and couldnt see well I miss purdy at least they had good mechanics!!!

I will not take my vehicles anywhere else. I have been taking our cars there for a little over a year now. I trust the staff here at Barstow Tire & Brake and they have never let me down.Ive used them for everything from regular oil changes, an alignment, new tires and even replacing a transmission in a car that I had nothing but problems with before taking it there (after several repairs through the dealership.)They are easy to work with, honest and the pricing is more than fair.

My only issue with this place is they dont work on diesel engines. They did a wheel alignment for me, and it was quick and relatively inexpensive. Thank you!

Theyre very friendly and fast they will let you know if it will take longer than expected on their oil change. once I had a Chevy Lumina, I took to Firestone and it took them so long and it took days for them to do a diagnostic on it I guess Firestone couldnt figure out the problem. I had it towed from Firestone to Barstow Tire and Brake within the first few minutes they found the problem was able to fix it

When our car broke down in the desert we were grateful to be towed to this shop. Our engine was shot so they could not fix it there but were extremely helpful and patient while we figured out how to get towed home a few days later. Though we cannot speak to their work, it is clear this is a honest shop which means a lot.

I do appreciate Tire and Break in Barstow, CA doing my routine oil change when Mojave car dealership refused to take me to do my oil check. Big mistake huge mistake! I might have found a new place to get all my car services done. Tire and Break are so friendly, hard working, and almost half the price to service my car, :-) ! Oh and let’s not forget to mention that they also have a shuttle to take you to where you need to be until you car is finished. I am. Very happy with them, very!!!

I always stop at BTB whenever Im in Barstow and my vehicle has needs. The owner (Mr Purdy) is super nice and very considerate. They do purdy much any type of repair you need. Not just tires and brakes like I originally thought. Im going thru there (Barstow) in a couple weeks and Im going to stop in and get my rear end checked out (on my RV). See you there!

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Smog department takes a little time but thats only because they are limited in man power. They take care of you though. Process are average. These guys can handle almost anything that you may need!

Great business fast when not crowded and they have a cool waiting room that you can lounge in with vending machines, in case you need a cool drink or snack only thing I didnt see a public restroom .

They have Smogged many cars and trucks for me over the years and also done various repairs- Starters, alternators, minor electrical.. and also sold and installed tires for both cars/ trucks and also trailers. They are honest and reasonably priced. The owner is a great guy and has always supported the local community, even sponsorship of youth sports and the Miss Barstow Pageant... Top notch !!

We pulled off the highway at the next exit and found this place. They immediately helped us get back on the road without a problem! Thank you!

My brakes were literally metal to metal so I took in my car to get a quote and they advised me to get the car in the next day for my personal safety and to prevent further wear on my vehicle.. took it in the following morning and they cut my quote down nearly $40 since the labor did not take as long as expected! Awesome, quick, and friendly service.. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff! Will definitely be coming back!

We blew a tire on our travel trailer so even though there was another year on the date code we decided to change all four plus the spare. They had tires in stock and got me in and out quickly. Everyone here was friendly and professional. Highly recommended for ANYTHING you may need done!

Traveling from Miami, FL. My wife and I arrived in Barstow after sunset with grinding brakes. Found Barstow Tire and Brake the next day. Everett took our vehicle in, had us shuttled to our hotel. He diagnosed the problem. Repaired the brakes and took care of a few other things. I can not say enough about what a great repair shop this is. Highly recommended!

Called havent been there yet, how ever they were helpful and to the point, didnt try to over sell some unesesery service like Midas.

They were quick and affordable we were heading home to Washington they got us in and out in an hour with the best prices I could find around.

Barstow Tire and Brake is not equipped to perform wheel alignments correctly, service writer has very poor customer relations I will add.... If you would like to waste 4 hours of your day and have your alignment worse than it was before you arrived..... this IS the the place to go!

These guys saved us! Lil rough on telephone... But decent people that didnt rob us on account of us being from outta town. They squared away our unbalanced tire issues quickly and efficiently and I strongly recommend this place.

Trust and love this place. Friendly front desk. Repaired my flat tire fast. Repairman used pneumatic tool to put wheel nuts on. He did each one multiple times to ensure proper torque. Afterwards, I checked tire pressure and it was perfect at 32 psi for a cold tire.Way better service than Walmart - the front desk lady at their shop said they don’t fix flats unless the tire is in the green for tread wear. I think Walmart Barstow is fooling people so they can sell new tires to people who are in a bind.

This is the best,the most honest, helpful car place Ive ever gone too..they helped me every step of the way to get my van smogged it had alot of issues.they only chsrged. 48.00 for the smog..they spent 2 days helping me..everyones so kind thoughtful helpful funny great bunch of people..I cant say enough good things about barstow tire and brake..

Great people, Thank you for helping me out with the tire. They fixed my tire in an hour and had very fun stories to share. I dont have a clue about how to fix a tire but they gave me tips on how to do it. I might try to do if I ever get another flat.

We took our Rav4 because the tire pressure light kept coming on and it was always the same tire. They checked it and apparently it was a nail and they fixed it right away for a good price. We just drove away and even I have a worried feeling because never had a tire repaird, I have to admit everyone is nice and very helpful at this place. Just hopping the tire doesnt blow up ur something. Will definitely recommend and use it again for any other reason. Keep up the good work
