My experiences here are always great. All employees are masked, and the establishment is dog friendly. They also have alcoholic beverage options and delicious snacks. The staff aren’t super engaging, but I kinda like that. They always answer any questions I have with no problem, but they don’t pry or try to make small talk. I prefer my coffee shop transactions this way. I am always greeted, and given a warm goodbye with a yummy drink or snack to go with it. The place is small, but good size for what it is. Great spot for getting some work done, and the shaded area on the patio is really nice as well. I’ve never had any issues here. Try the cardamom cream puff, it’s so delicious. Their matcha drinks are amazing as well. I tried their chagaccino for the first time and was absolutely delighted at how tasty it was. I will be ordering this beverage very frequently. I’ve always had prompt, quick, and kind service here. Love coming in for the occasional pick me up. Really great spot, and very conveniently located.
The place seemed good from the reviews, but the coffee was a big disappointment. How do you get sour aftertaste on a cold brew?! Ive had cold brew all over the country, and even make my own. This was the first time I couldnt even finish it. The espresso was ok, nothing memorable. The pastries were good, so they have that going for them. I guess the bar on the other side is the backup plan if the coffee gig falls through.
Nice coffee spot to work at. Pumpkin chai was delightful but a tad too sweet and not hot enough. Wish they served it in a real cup too (came in a paper cup which made it seem tiny and unsatisfying). Coffee itself is good but not amazing. Could you use more outlets for the tables! Overall a good working/meeting spot that hasn’t gotten monstrously crowded yet.
This is the most fragrant coffee! Its like drinking a nice perfume! I love how my local coffee shop smells when they grind and brew it. Ive started brewing it in my office too. Smells so good!!! And tastes good too!
This is a great coffee shop/bar combo that you can spend a lot of time hanging out in without knowing where the time went. I do like the coffee shop itself though! Nice place to study and just catch up on reading.
Fantastic from start to finish! The ladies behind the counter were so sweet, and the coffee was even sweeter! I will be back :)
Excellent coffee though the most expensive of the up-market expresso drinks. Indoor seating is generally good if available. Will definitely be making a return trip.
This use to be one of my favorite spots but the quality of the coffee has gone down tremendously. Likewise for the service. Ordered 2 cappuccinos and a croissant. Even though the lady acknowledge the complete order she only gave me one cappuccino. I asked for the rest of the order and got one additional cappuccino, no croissant. Upon third request I got the full order. Unfortunately they were mediocre cappuccinos.
Best coffee in the east side. If you are nearby and craving for some great coffee, this is where you go. I love the industrial vibe of the place and they have some bakery collection but not really fresh. The coffee is amazing though and they have good good outdoor and indoor seating. Latte is great and the prices are economic. Give it a try.
Unpretentious coffee shop with pour over prices 2 dollars cheaper than most local coffee shops around the area. Love it! The guys working the coffee bar were super friendly and helpful! Had a cortado with hemp milk! Local roaster. The shop feels too commercial. Great quality coffee and nice people here.
Really good coffee, cool place. Whish they had more food options
One of the best coffee shops in Austin. I drive 30 minutes (at least) across town to come to this place. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that knows their coffee. Espresso and pour over brews are always perfect. This was the first place I had nitro cold brew coffee years ago, and it is still my favorite of all the ones I have had.
Super good vibe, and the staff are friendly. Definitely check it out!
Knowledgeable about coffee and product. Gorgeously designed inside cafe and plenty of outside seating. Set of bags for entertainment. Parking lot. Great place to relax between brewery and studio/gallery exploration. Double shots in espresso drinks, nitro on tap and roasted coffee by the pound to take home.
One of my favorite coffee bars, full stop. I always pick up a 5lb bag of Stella Cometa to keep me wired at home.
The coffee: The cortado was creamy, heavy bodied, and a little bitter. It had a mild overall flavor, and was somewhat earthy. Compared to some Austin chains, it was also reasonably priced. The nitro cold brew was good too. I like the idea of not having ice dilute my coffee, and you also dont end up with ice hitting your face when you drink without a straw. It was very smooth. The shop: The shop itself is kind of like a warehouse, with tall ceilings and plenty of seating. Theres a lot of room to talk, eat, or work, and a good amount of outlets. The big blue wall just gives it a chill vibe, and theres some nice natural lighting. It is a bit dim inside though. The service: Nothing noteworthy.Overall: I would come here to relax and hang out. I dont think its the best place to get work done because of the lighting. Also the wifi wasnt working when I went.
Pretty good for spot. Coffe on point got my taco, forgot to say no cheese but so good (tortillas) i ate it all. Lol
Great local coffee shop. My go to is chai latte, highly recommend
Nice space, brewed coffee tasted good but was cold and the server was not that friendly. A bit disappointed.
Great team of staff, their milk frothing machine wasnt working that day, so we had espressos, which is my usual, but my partner missed her latte. we both felt jittery from our coffees which was a surprise. Some people will love that, others may feel that their coffee (or at least that particular roast) is a bit over the top, each to their own. My only complaint is that the room was a bit cold to stay for an extended time.
Finally the time has come. I am so happy they added extra tables outside so I can spend more time here. Love the place!
Visiting east austin hotel and stopped by the place. Really enjoyed it. Great coffee
Awesome coffee cafe setup with the hipster bar style feel. They have a few pour over selections and also some great cold brew mixes. They also have bakery goods, tacos, wine, and beer?! Parking is a little tight in the front, but overall great atmosphere for a coffee cafe! The staff is also very friendly and helpful!
While I havent been to the actual coffee bar yet, I do buy Cuvee coffee beans at H.E.B. and the coffee is incredible!
We visited on a rainy Sunday afternoon, around 5pm and in my opinion, it was the perfect time to enjoy a new spot. There were 3 people there, two of them on laptops (... Btw, coffee shops arent required to supply free wifi) and French house music playing over the speakers. I order a hot chai latte, my boyfriend tried their nitro cold brew, both drinks were great. The nitro cold brew seems to be very caffeinated and the chai latte is the semi sweet kind. The girls behind the counter seemed genuinly friendly; I would feel comfortable coming here alone. Overall, this place has a nice ambience and next time Ill bring my dog (they have a dog friendly patio)!
EXCEPTIONALLY friendly Batistas/staff for sure!I ordered the Texas Teddy due to its uniqueness. It is definitely worth a try at least once!!If you come on a nice day the front end of the shop is all open and its a very upbeat chill place. I do appreciate that it typically isnt very loud in here either. The espresso is kind of fruity in its own unique way, and definitely worth a try as well. Id recommend and (already have) return!
Super friendly baristas and you can have coffee and beer. Whats not to love?
We purchased three different drinks from here (a matcha latte, chai latte, and Texas teddy). All of the drinks came out very watery with little to no flavor. For the price of the coffee you could get a better product from just about anywhere, even Starbucks has better.
I just want to give a shout out to the staff at Cuvée tonight! I called ahead of time and Sam helped me pick a bag of coffee beans. She even grinded them for me while I was on my way up there. While there, I even picked up a second bag because it all smelled so great.I didn’t get the other girls name but she helped me while ringing up the item. They were both so friendly that we ended up chatting for just a few moments. They both made me feel at home. Thanks and have wonderful holidays everyone at cuvée.
Love this spot. Great coffee, friendly staff, and it happens to be veteran owned.
If you loved great quality coffee, then this is your place!! Great selection, and wonderful staff!
One of my favourite cafes in Austin. Huge roller doors with outdoor seating. Also have tables and benches at the perfect standing height for those who like standing desks. Super awesome staff too ❤️
Great place. Amazing cafe. Extremely nice people. I wanted to buy a mug but they were out. They gave me one of the serving cups. I would give 6 stars if I could. Highly recommend!!!
Incredible service. They have tons of options and will grind it for you. Highly recommended!
Amazing. Awesome coffee. Spectacular staff!
This place has zero to offer. Basic coffee and hardly anything else.
A bit pricey and their wifi doesn’t work on the patio which means they don’t really have wifi during covid.
Just high quality coffee
Amazing customer serviceGreat place to bring your workComfy environmentFree wifi!2 output for chargingQuiet and chillFantastic tasting latteI am looking forward to return! Great place to study!Strongly recommended if youre looking for the perfect coffee shop to get your work done!Come
Barista employee was rude and made fun of me for my disability. I felt uncomfortable by his mocking remarks. Insulting customer service.
Cuvee has good coffee and espresso as well as a great selection of beer, but what really stands out is their popular Black & Blue nitro cold brew, which pairs excellently with a nitro porter as a Black & Brew. The friendly staff, open industrial design, and absence of Wi-Fi encourage reading and relaxation rather than work.
Great espresso, very accommodating even with all the COVID restrictions they’re under.
Great coffee and breakfast tacos! Prices are reasonable. Vibe inside is fabulous. Great place to sit in the morning and have some coffee while checking email and starting your day!
Super delicious coffee. The staff are also nice and friendly. I LIVE THE PLACE IT IS SO RELAXING!
My FAV neighborhood coffee shop! I go here for quick drinks on-the-go and also to buy some of their yummy beans. They even have the option of grinding them for you there.
Called looking for Yirgachef, the most knowledgeable person in the coffee shop knew nothing about. Of course she was suggesting me why the Ethiopian coffee is SMOOTH. If you ever got Yirgachef, it somewhat acidic, blossomy and floral which kind of opposite for SMOOTH. I am not a coffee connoisseur by any mean but an average Joe looking apart from dark bland roasted Starbucks.
My go-to place whenever I’m in Austin!
My absolute favorite coffee bar. Their nitro cold brew is amazeballs. I had forgot my wallet once and they comped my coffee for me. Super great service and staff!
Great coffee, good people, good vibes. They allows dogs outside on the patio and service dogs inside. Its a good place to go inside and get a little work done on the laptop. Oh, and good beer too!
I love this place. I come here frequently to work and the staff is just so friendly and welcoming. Plenty of seating (and parking), a really cool bar in the center of the space and tasty coffee, of course!
This was my first time going to Cuvee Coffee and I really enjoyed it. I got the americano and would definitely recommend. My girlfriend got their Texas Teddy nitro cold brew and rated it a 10 out of 10.
As an Aussie, coffee is a religion to me, and the USA is very likely our version of hell. While good coffee is here to be found, Ive noticed that these coffee and beer venues generally do not serve coffee thats... drinkable. Cuvee appears to be an exception to that rule, it presents as probably the best of this kind of concept Ive seen in Austin. Comfortable atmosphere, drinkable coffee, and great staff. Is it the best coffee in Austin? No. Is it the best Ive found in a place that also sells beer? By far, yes.
Great coffee, wonderful atmosphere, fantastic baristas. Theyve got more than your typical selection of coffee drinks, including nitro coffee, and canned cold brew. They also have non-coffee goodies. Its spacious and quiet inside making it a great place to hang out.
Great coffee shop! Staff is always helpful and friendly and the coffee is great, especially the cold brew. The outdoor seating is perfect when the weathers nice.
Dont bother. They changed management. Changed the milk. Coffee is good but not excellent as it once was. Pricey for less quality. Dont bother going. (It was once a five star place)
Great coffee and lots of room to sit! The only con is that theres no wifi, which is honestly just annoying when you just really just want to sit down and get some work done. However, if youre just meeting up with someone, this is a great place to go and chat over a nice capp!
Parking was pretty atrocious but eh it’s the city!I love the set up of this place but the coffee just doesn’t do it for me😬 no bad reviews about the staff though they’re always great
Very cool coffee shop. Stopped in by chance and had one of the best chilled cups of coffee I have ever had. I really liked the selection of all different types of flavors and additives they offer as well. Very cool environment seating just fills up fast!
Great coffee! Good price too, I really liked their expresso!
One of my favorite coffee shops in Austin, Texas. Atmosphere is welcoming. Service is great. Coffee is even better! Not to mention their restrooms provide you with some sweet hip hop jams. Definitely recommend their iced chai!
I am a nitro cold brew fanatic and Cuvee definitely has one of the best in Austin. Nice eclectic environment and craft beer on tap as well. The pastry selection is a bit lacking but I usually come here strictly for coffee anyways. Their pour over is also quite good.
The coffee was good. The nitro brew was a little to lite in flavor. But my biggest complaint was with the lack of cleanliness. The bar too was stick and the espresso group heads looked as if the had not been cleaned in months
Loved this place, they roast a great bean and pour a great cappuccino. I will be back to try more on offer, but for now, if youre looking for at least to me, what seemed to be, a quieter coffee bar along East 6th, this is the place for you.
Austin has many coffee shops. This one is the best. You probably want to come here.PS its not just coffee! Full food selection. And half off specialty pizzas during happy hour. Its legit.
Great service. The place is very aesthetic, modern yet industrial looking. Definitely recommend.
