Friendly staff and well stocked store with clothing and fly gear. Pricey but you have to know that going here. It is in a nice and pricey shopping center so that shouldn’t be a surprise. Overall very good quality and staff helpful.

Visited this store not knowing anything about fly fishing and one of the staff members helped me find the perfect rod, reel, and other equipment. I enjoyed my fly rod for 1 week and I accidentally broke the rod. I brought it to the store and they took care of me with all the kindness. I’m buying ONLY orvis equipment from now on. Thank you.

Orvis was so amazing and prompt! I ordered a dog coat and USPS put it was delivered in my box and it WAS NOT. Orvis without any hesitation offered to overnight a new one to me. WOW!! Amazing customer service. THANK YOU!

I found out that their on line price was 80.00 lesser then the priced they charged me at the store. therefore I called and spoke to Danny the store Manager Regarding the matching the advertised price he start giving me the runaround then I got hanged on . I called again he asked me to Text him the picture of the on line price so I did, He acted like he doesnt have access to that, I Texted him all the info that he asked for at the end his attitude changed toward me, he was Rude and said that this is not the same jacket and there is nothing Danny could do. he saidI way over charged !!!!

Im just getting started with fly fishing and I stopped in to switch my reel to right hand retrieve and get my reel reloaded in the correct direction. Chris helped me out and set me up with a guide book for all the local fishing spots. Im also looking forward to learning how to cast at one of their free education classes with Megan.Chris is a great ambassador for the sport. And this Orvis location is now my go-to spot for all of my fly fishing needs!!

Stopped in today to ask questions as I am just getting into fly fishing. The guys there were all excited to take time to stop and teach and share their knowledge and experience. Really helped me understand things like tippet selection and the different types of flies. Definitely will be going back!

Great quality products with reasonable prices (not a cheap store, though). All the employees at this location are extremely friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They made my day better just by being so nice and helpful to me. Would recommend to anyone! :)

What a great store! All of the salesmen are very helpful, but Chris assisted me the most. I have never fly fished before, and Chris made sure I was getting the right gear and flys! Amazing store with amazing service and I look forward to coming back in the near future!

Beautiful store, great products. Last time I was in there Dan helped me. There was a mixup with store pickup and the Orvis website. He took care of it professionally. Their products are expensive but you are getting the best quality.

Cannot believe that I asked for a valid coupon to be used because I forgot to use it yesterday. Thought they would give credit back for the $25.00. Instead they say not their policy. Well, then u could return and repurchase the item. It was a full price purchase and well over the amount stated that needed to be purchased. Have always bought lots from Orvis but will not ever return to the Austin store.
