Very time I go there I know where to find what I am looking for. There is always someone there that can help and they can show you a better deal on some thing you were trying to buy

Worst experience ever - why sell to ppl you think are all theives

I love this store!! Its my favorite place to buy make up. The make up is very inexpensive, generally about $2 or $3 for a palette of eye make up containing anywhere from 3 to 20 colors, and its actually pretty good make up! Most eye make up you get at that price is crap, but the stuff they sell here goes on very nicely! They also have a good variety small lipsticks that are $1, full-sized nail polish for $1 and $2, and cheap eyeliner and mascara as well. I dont buy my eyeliner from there though because it isnt that great.They have a lot of specialized hair products, most of which I dont know the use for, and a whole lot of decent quality wigs. Ive bought some of their wigs to wear to work since management doesnt really like my purple hair, and so far they havent questioned me.The bleach they sell though is not good at all. They also have some $2 and $3 tubes of colorful hair dye (red, orange, turquoise, pink, purple, blue) that stays in about as long as youd think $2 hair dye would stay in, but its fun.Theyve got a lot of earrings, hair accessories (bows, clips, etc.), other fashion accessories, and even body jewelry. This place really has pretty much any kind of fashion or make up item you could hope for, especially if you want a lot and cant usually afford it.

They always following me around like I am going to steal something dont really like the staff, every isle I go on they always following me. Other than that great product

I wish I could give them 0 stars, but since I cant I gave them 1 star and this is the reason why. I went to look for a wig. I saw one that I liked and I wanted to try it on. I asked how much for a wig cap and the lady told me that I couldnt try on any of the wigs because of my braids. I have locs and I said so I cant try on a wig even with a wig cap. She said no, I said not even if I pull my head band over my locs and have a wig cap on. She said no its a new rule. Ive be to several beauty supply stores within the last two day and I didnt have a problem with trying on wigs. I went to Urban Beauty and asked them if the rules have changed about trying on wigs and they informed me that it was you have to purchase a wig cap and then your able to try on wig. So I understand that ever store is different so the rules will be different but Ive been to several different beauty supply stores in several different states and Ive never heard of any of them having this type of rule. So if you want to go here dont have locs or braids in your hair. For the rest of my time in Austin I will not do business with then. I took my $150 and spent it all at Urban Beauty.

I walked in with full intent to purchase a wig but was extremely disrespected and descriminated against when simply asking to try one on. The manager refused to let me try one on because she said I had “too much hair” and that her product was “not for play.” I let her know I had wigs at home but before I could make my statement she had turned her back and said “no thank you” as she began to walk away. She was rude, refused to accommodate what would have been a paying customer and deliberately turned her back as I was talking to her. Don’t ever go to this store! There is a great place down the street called NW Fashions.

I brought a friend to this beauty store yesterday... The owner followed and asked repeatedly can she help me look for something. I told the lady, I was looking around and waiting on my co worker... This lady!!! Had the nerves to pull a piece of paper out of my purse accusing me of stealing. Straight violation... She has lost her mind for-real.. Save your apology..I don’t won’t it....Austin ladies beware!!!! I’m putting your business out there on how you treat your customers.
