This team is amazing! I called and told him about my last minute car door incident. I appreciate them being open on Saturdays. My car came out of their shop looking like nothing happened! Being a young female, it is always a risk dealing with car shops and the possibility of being taken advantage of financially. This shop earned my trust and my business for the future. Would recommend this body shop. They are very professional and prompt. Did a good job on fixing a fender bender on a VW Jetta. Got us in pretty quickly compared to other shops that told us it would be weeks before we can be see.

I want to start of by saying that I have been knowing Mark the owner since 1996 since I was 17 and I am now 41 great guy! My 19yr old daughter got in a wreck which wasnt her fault which she was in a 05 Honda Accord. The insurance said it was totaled, o never believed that and knew it could be fixed. I showed Mark the pictures of the car and he said he could fix it. When it was finished the car brought back to life Mark and his crew did a PHENOMENAL JOB!!! They even helped replace a part on my suspension even though they market themselves as a body shop. The repair took a mere two days and turned out excellent.The property doesnt look like much, but dont be fooled because NLABS believes in hard work and customer satisfaction which are what really matter.

I dont think I can properly describe how great this place is. I had been driving around all morning getting quotes for a fender replacement, with one place telling me that I would need a new door, the entire car would need repainting, it would take 5 days and cost $2000. That was the worst one, but others were pretty similarly terrifying.Then I went to visit Mark at North Lamar Auto Body Shop and life got better. He was honest and worked hard to help me out. He really cares about what he does. It felt more like I was just spending time with a friend. The work was of exceptional quality, the price was affordable and it was so quick. Found this shop on Yelp, and my gosh, I am thankful I did.Everything from start to finish was a breeze, and Mark the owner is so friendly, honest and absolutely a pleasure to work with.My truck was involved in a hit and run, and sustained damaged to my left back bumper.I had a close friend who is also a mechanic look at the damage, before taking it in to North Lamar Auto Body Shop, and he told me it will be around $1,500 to fix the damage.A few days later, I met Mark, by myself for an estimate at North Lamar Auto Body Shop, and he said the same thing.. it was going to cost $1,500. He never once tried to claim it more damage than there actually was, never tried to inflate or pad the bill to my insurance or to me. My bumper was hanging off when I went to get my estimate, and he even rigged it up for me for free, just to help me out. This was before I even agreed to have him fix my truck, he’s just an overall nice guy.I’ve taken other cars to other body shops in the past, and they ALWAYS try to tell you the damages are going to be more than they really are, especially if you are going thru your insurance. They are just trying to scam you and the insurance company out of more money. And if they are trying to scam the insurance, they are probably shady in other ways too. Have you ever heard a body shop say, “we are going to have to paint the two connecting panels, so it all blends.. that’ll be another 3-4k?” All lies. No need for blending or replacing other than the panel that has the damage on it.My truck was finished in 6 days, 3 days shorter than expected.It looks brand spanking new. A perfect job.He kept me informed throughout the process, I never once had to call him to check –in, on my truck.He called me every 2 days to update me on the process, and the insurance dealings.He dealt directly with my insurance so it made everything for me a breeze.He even has cars for you to use while you’re car is being repaired, and will let you use them for free, so you don’t have to pay for a rental. He will even give you a ride home if you need it.Mark goes above and beyond for his customers, and I was relieved to see a business owner who actually care about his customers.If you are going thru your insurance, you don’t pay anything until you pick up your car or truck.

Have a 2018 Camry XSE. I had damage on my front bumper and door that I shopped around to get quotes on. While a shop down the street just a mile away quoted me thousands, Mark from North Lamar Auto Body quoted me a little less than half that. Of course, Im worried because sometimes price really reflects quality... but a couple grand extra was a lot.I ultimately went with Mark here because of all the reviews (I chose to crowdtrust) and Mark gave me a feeling he could be trusted. Was worried throughout the process, with a hiccup that required a little more money, but ultimately when I came back to get the car it was perfect. You could not tell at a glance if there was damage prior. If you looked closely at the door, the reflection wasnt smooth/perfect like the undamaged door, but it was minor. Happy with the work, will recommend.

When my wife and I were stranded in Austin when our ignition cylinder broke, Mark was helpful enough to drive down on a Sunday morning and give our car an inspection free of charge! He even recommended a locksmith to us who got our car running and got us home the next day. I would highly recommend Marks services to those visiting Austin. I had been looking for a proper car shop for weeks before I stumbled upon this place! I always try to support local shops whenever I get the chance, and this was the best choice Ive made in a long time. As a younger person, it seemed impossible to find a shop that wouldnt undermine and attempt to take advantage of my little experience with cars. Within seconds of pulling into the lot, Mark was there to assist me. The entire process was quick and easy, he knew what needed to be done; he was a genuinely kind and obviously cared for the work he does. It hardly took a day to get my car fixed and was extremely cost efficient! 10/10 strongly recommend and will be going back again.

Well, this is my new mechanic and body shop. Mark is WONDERFUL. I came in with my bumper duct taped to my car and within an hour he had put it back together and cleaned off the duct tape scum. He was really friendly and I enjoyed talking about Iranian history with him. This place was way cheaper than any other mechanic or body shop Ive been to, and I actually enjoyed the experience the whole time. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Oh my!!! What a nice guy!! I am deaf lady with a husband who is out of town and my car was unable to start. Naturally, I was freaking out but Mark, on the phone, being patient and listening through an interpreter, assured me that everything would be ok. He offered to drive to my place to see what was wrong, but we decided to have it towed two days later to his shop. After 2 days, we found the answer and it was incredibly cost effective and straight to the point. No straggling. After I paid for the service, I even pointed out my cracked back bumper that was hanging off the back, asking for a quote to fix it and Mark offered to put it back together at no cost. So grateful! I had a large scratch and dent down the side of my Volvo — over three panels — that needed to be fixed. North Lamar was the first place I went to get a quote and every quote I got after that was higher (some by more than double!). I went back to North Lamar because it was clear that their pricing cant be beat. They were helpful throughout the whole process (even encouraging me to take a picture of the damage on my car as I dropped it off for reference later) and the dent/scratches are perfectly fixed. Great experience.

I had a great experience at North Lamar Auto Body Shop. After a small fender bender I drove around to four auto body shops to get quotes for the work - Mark quoted me less than half of what the other shops suggested. I was a little skeptical considering he was so much lower than the other guys, and the shop itself isnt the most pristine of places, but I was paying out of pocket and decided to take a risk (or so I thought). Mark said it would be two days (the others suggested 5), and it did only take two days. The car came out looking better than before the accident, and he charged me exactly what he estimated when he first saw the damage. I’ll definitely be coming back here for all of my repairs (hopefully I have no more need for auto body work though).

I had some issues with my window not rolling up on my Dodge Nitro 2008 mark went over and beyond to at least help get my window up until I was able to buy what I needed to get it fixed. Mark helped find the problem and was super nice I would recommend this place to anyone. I’m so thankfulI

Im very thankful for this place being open on a Saturday. I had a repair that needed immediate attention because my view was partially blocked. I called ahead, and the owner encouraged me to drive over. He was very through when trying to find the problem, then it was fixed right away. Im glad I was able to get assistance right away because I was very worried as to how I was going to drive to and from work.
