The company I work for buys all of there computers, printers etc from here. When something goes wrong they are not willing to help whatsoever.... bought a printer 5 months ago that has had nothing but issues but they dont seem to care, bought a laptop 2 weeks ago and the charger stopped working, went in to the store and they said they couldnt help and told us to call customer service... we are trying to run business and cant afford to have equipment down so it makes it very difficult. I guess Staples has earned a new customer, hopefully they are a little more willing to help us when need be.

I bought a new car stereo and back up camera for my 2005 Mustang convertible. The car came with multiple amps and subwoofers from the factory making it a difficult install. Mike was able to get it installed and working great. He reviewed placement of the back up camera, microphone and xm antenna. Best Buy is lucky to have a guy with Mikes experience working on car audio!!

I contacted by phone to get info on there total tech support, I purchased there yearly plan for $199.99 for the purpose of having a stereo head unit installed in my vehicle. I specifically asked if they install units that were not purchased from them and the agent assured me they did. After purchase I scheduled an appointment for the installation which was 3 weeks out. Once I arrived for the installation I was then informed that they needed to look at my unit to decide if they would or would not install it. After looking the technician which was very unfriendly and appeared to either not like his job or was not looking forward to doing my installation even though he had no other customers in the garage, he told me that hes turned down many customers with my type of head unit, he then went to ask his manager and came back and informed me that his manager said probably not and that they couldnt do the installation. I then asked if I could just purchase a similar head unit from them. He told me they have NO head units in stock!! Best buy that has a garage specifically for installing head units and sound systems in vehicles had NO head units in stock?! I was shocked and very disappointed that I had waited 3 weeks for absolutely NOTHING! They did in fact give me my money back for the purchase of the total tech support which is why Im giving 2 stars instead of 1! But I will never again go to best buy for ANYTHING!

My wife and I walked into the store last Friday with a good idea what we were after and had already checked that the store had what we were looking for. But as is often the case, not everything was out on the floor as it should be. We need not have feared! The staff were at our service! Scanning serial numbers, shifting merchandise around, but also helping us think through alternatives. They also helped us load everything into the car afterwards -- despite the rain! Thanks, Best Buy Augusta! As New Yorkers we were really pleased with the service!!

They set up a maze at the door to stop you on the way IN! They had an item in a damaged box on the shelf. Could I open it at the register to check? No, they wanted me to purchase it THEN RETURN IT IF IT WAS DAMAGED. This was of course after a guy was very condescending to me for going to where the registers used to be. He also decided he wanted to argue with me about it. I will never set foot in a best buy again. They were so bad I will go out of my way to support any competition they have.

If i could leave a zero star review i would. My boyfriend brought in his Iphone X to have the battery replaced and his data backed up. He was there around 11 am and was told that backing up his data would take hours and that they didnt have time for that. They then assured him that he wouldnt need to back up his data as nothing would happen to the phone.. well they broke it. He now has none of the photos he took from the past two years, including very sentimental photos of our baby nephew, our cats as kittens, and photos from fire 1 and 2 that he took this year. Things that will never be replaced, and was told that he would have to pay for a refurbished Iphone and wait until Monday. This happened on Thursday. Overall staff was unhelpful and uncooperative. If you are for some reason unable to back up your phone data yourself do not go here for help, as even an hour after opening apparently does not give them enough time to back up data. And if you need a battery replacement they may break your phone. Overall bad experience

I waited 15 minutes for a store employee to assist me. I had to leave because I had an appointment. They are clearly under staffed. They take your name upon entering and you have to wait for your name to come up for service. It appears they are aware of this problem.

This was the worst customer service Id ever had. Went in for a portable air conditioner, and found one we liked, not priced. Right beside the same one with a price tag. Went to pay for it, and it was $150 more than the other one. When we told them that, and that there was no price on the one they had, they didnt care. We bought it, got to Home Depot and found it cheaper there. Came back and returned it and they just didnt care.

Love the people, hate the company. Return policy is now store credit only after 15 days - and that was unopened, with the receipt! If I had opened it (a range hood), they probably would not have accepted it. Unacceptable. Will not be buying at Best Buy again.

I went there for a ps5 play and charge cable online it said 2 in store they said 0 after I purchased.. I paid online and Ronnie one of the clerks was frustrated that the computer went down. I read him the numbers to verify my purchase he seemed agitated and was unhelpful. I ask to speak to Bryan the manager. This manager who lacks people skills needs to learn the number one rule the customer is always right.Needless to say the situation was not resolved as he wanted to overtalk me and not listen to my concern.The employees here dont answer the phone lack product knowledge from. Air conditioners tvs computers and the to the to video game systems. Bryan the manager seemed to not care or value my business bright and early Monday corporate will get this feedback show online or elsewere. Tried to leave a TV for repairs still under warranty and had to make an appointment to bring it in the time they gave me was the same time I start working so I asked if I could just drop it off early and they said no I said well thats inconvenient cause of working that time and they said well you dont care about people getting sick and so on I know the store policy about making appointment to bring in things for repairs have done it before the coronavirus even started its just not good customer service

A solid 4 star experience. Although the guy who helped us in the electronics section was extremely rude, we were able to get exactly what we needed done. Honestly their stock was nearly wiped out, but, I dont blame that on them. They had a surge of business for the holiday weekend. Other than that one employee they are on top of it at this Best Buy.

After calling this business 5 consecutive times I finally resorted to driving the 60 miles to their main location. Obviously nobody I could get in touch with on the phone so there was no help for my computer on trying to buy. As you can imagine I am completely frustrated at this point. Waiting in the store for 15 plus minutes with no help. I wish I could have seen your inventory so I could have not wasted so much time. Best Buy, you are the worst customer service business ever.

Returned a Linksys mesh system router for a different brand. Exchange Process was easy, and also received money on a gift card! As newer better technology can cost less. Also had a Sony TV just installed on my wall. The service I receive from customer service and the Geek Squad guys always exceptional—Augusta, Maine Best Buy store.

Ordered a phone today because it said, available to pick up within 1 hour. Instantly took the money out of my account. Then I received an email saying that theres an issue with my order and its being sorted out. Never said what the issue was. I assume its not in shock even though it said it was. I stopped going here years ago for this very reason. Figured Id try again. Last time, instead of getting my phone in an hour, I waited days before finally canceling the order. Didnt get an explanation then and Im sure I wont get one now. Also tried calling. Do far Ive been on hold for over 30 minutes. Mind you, there isnt but 5 or so customers in this store on a good day. So Im not sure why no one is picking up the phone. So now Ive got $1500+ tied up and no phone. If I cancel order money will be tied up for up to a week before its back in my account. This company, but especially this store has always been a joke. Shame on me I guess for not learning from my previous terrible experience here. What a joke

Went to purchase a TV, but needed to be informed of the options and ask questions. Edgar was super nice and when he wasnt sure of the answers ty questions Tyler came and was also super helpful! They didnt think to check if there were any open box specials for me and while we were looking at the TV wall mount options I noticed theopen box specials in the same aisle. It just so happened the same TV I was considering purchasing was there! Yay I was able to purchase it for a little more savings and still get the same warranty and options. Lastly, if youre upgrading from an older TV like I was, you will need to ask them about which cords youll need to run your components...they surprisingly even suggested I contact check Amazon for cheaper options. Overall, I was super impressed with the customer service and definitely recommend going there. Be prepared to spend at least an hour and get educated. Thanks Edgar and Tyler!

My husband brought his new Apple phone in for a new screen-cracked after one month of normal usage and no drops. Drove 1.5 hours after making appointment online. They could not get their Apple hardware running to enter him into their computer so he left after an hour with the same broken screen. Disappointing.

Went in to schedule a battery change for my Samsung phone with their Geek Squad.I tell them it was a Samsung Galaxy S9. Great they said. I get my appointment scheduled and all is well.Now its the day of my appointment and when I arrive to it, suddenly they dont do services on Samsung devices! Why did they not tell me this prior to me scheduling an appointment, especially when I told them my phones model.Person I was speaking to couldnt give a care in a world that they inconvenienced me and wasted time out of my day when I could be somewherw else getting my device fixed. Definitely am not coming back.

Ordered an appliance online. Shoddy website scheduled a bogus delivery date so had to reschedule it. Once appliance finally arrived, Geek Squad could not install it and assured us they would schedule more crew members to help. Never got a new installment date. Had to call like four times and no one was able to give a straight answer. I understand times are uncertain due to COVID but holy sh!t. Ended up cancelling the order. I hope I never have to deal with Best Buy again.

This store doesnt have as much in stock as the one in Portland stopping me from giving 5 stars. But they were very helpful when I was trying to return a product that I bought in Portland and exchange it for a different brand. Very friendly. The best buy return policy is very accommodating. Sometimes you dont know if you will like the technology until you try it and they get that. Great company.
