We stayed here for the Auburn/Georgia game and had a great experience. Every staff member we interacted with was super friendly and helpful. Being new to RVing, we had lots of questions but never felt we were troubling anyone. Our site was right next to the most peaceful stream and made for a great view when enjoying a cup of coffee. The campground was clean and well-maintained. We look forward to returning!

The Auburn RV park at Leisure Campground is absolutely amazing. We had camping reservations and management at this RV park was very kind and compassionate in working with us! We just endured tremendous losses in the hurricane including our storage facility where we stored our camper! Thank you to these great people!

I think the only good thing is it was close by the highway and was nice to walk the dogs by the creek. We stayed one night as we were traveling south- the lady who checked us in was not friendly at all and rude. The water spigot at our campsite was broken and had sharp edges-we had to wear gloves to turn it on and off. The bathrooms were gross, shower curtains were grimy, men’s shower doors broken, floors in showers had hair and garbage and dirt all over. Laundry room is basic- no change machine so have your quarters ready. I would drive out of my way to never stay here again and would not recommend it.Edited to address response- we initially asked at check in if there was a dog park. No problem one way or another just curious and in no way had any problems about keeping our dogs on a leash. That was never a concern. Your response tells me everything I need to know. You did not address one concern we had and just talked negative about a customer. Will never stay here again

Stayed there in 1998 when Mr. May owned this park. Loved it so much I built my own in 2001. Have and still send numerous overnight customers to this park. The owners are God fearing Christians .They run a well kept RV park. If not I would not put my name on suggesting this place to stay.A lot of the negative reviews are from negative people who are not happy unless everyone around them are not happy.May peace and happiness follow you always.Owner Bar W RV parkMike Ward

After a long day of driving we were happy to finally make here to spend the night. At the gate to get into the park we put the code in and started to go through the gate when the pole came down and hit our RV! OMG I thought! Then we couldn’t find our spot! Had no idea where I was.! The pictures show large spacious sites but the RV’s parked there are so close together! We could never find our site and being that the office was closed we left. I would be sure to come way before dark the next time.

Really nice park right off of I-85, a hidden gem ! What we LOVE about this park are the big rig waterfront / creekside pull thrus and the friendly staff. This is the perfect halfway stop for us headed to the Gulf beaches from the Carolinas. The WiFi is probably the best that we have ever experienced at any park, we were even able to stream video on it. We camped in a 45ft motorhome towing a car and used one of the Big Rig Friendly pull-thru sites on the creek and the sound of the water really was relaxing after a day of travel through Atlanta. The roads are paved and sites are well packed gravel. Some sites are shady but the trees are well trimmed back and some are full open sun for satellite users like us. There was cable TV at the site but we didnt need it since we were able to use our satellite and also stream Netflix on the park WiFi. This park is run by a nice family that was VERY friendly and even took a picture of our dog for their Instagram Dog Of The Day. We really appreciated that they texted us the WiFi codes and site number the morning of arrival and how they offered express check in where we could go directly to our site contactless as an option since we reserved online and had already paid. This was our fourth stay now at this park and we will always stay at Auburn RV Park when passing through from the Carolinas to the Gulf beaches, New Orleans and Texas trips. Highly suggest unhooking your tow car and driving into town and seeing the university and cool downtown area, we ate at a place called Hamilton’s on Magnolia in their downtown, it was a fun local place and we were able to enjoy walking around downtown and getting a lemonade at a place called Toomers Drug Store. The overall park experience on creekside site K and the downtown experience makes our trips through this area something we look forward to as a family !

I am surprised this RV park has such great reviews. For the fee, one would expect a private park to be much better than a state park- this was not by far. The bathrooms were not clean, the sites are construction grade gravel, and the layout is strange. We only stayed one night as we were just passing through. Would not recommend nor stay again on my way back through. I will stay at Chewlaca State Park next time.

I have stayed at several RV parks in the Auburn area over the years and Auburn RV is the superior RV park among them. I have been staying with them for many years and have never been disappointed. The park has a perfect location while it is only a few minutes from the university and restaurants yet far enough away from the crowded areas. It is family owned and operated and they always put their guests first. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is everything you expected. You truly feel at home and feel the family atmosphere when you stay there. The price is reasonable and it is easy getting a big fifth wheel in and out as well. They have many pull through lots as well as back ins. I would recommend them above any park in the area. They are perfect for overnight and weekly stays, football season, as well as any trip in general.

This rv park is definately different. I will NOT stay there again. We are full time rvs and travel alot. Never did get to talk to or meet a human. Could enter our good Sams number and didnt get the discount. But worst of all, the park is hard to find and not really bigrig friendly. Had to unhook our car in order to navigate the park. All considered, I do not recommend this place unless you are an avid auburn fan.

Great place to go for a Rustic experience in the city. Not as Manicured as some, this place has more of a creekside vibe with gravel spaces that have not been updated recently. There are ballfields next door which we enjoyed watching the girls softball from. The lady does a Dog of the day on Instagram and she is so nice. I would have realistically given it a 4.5 but that wasnt an option. The price point with lack of grounds keep is the only reason it didnt get a 5 star rating from me. The grass was taller than one of my dogs and neck high on the other one. They had trouble finding an appropriate place to go and at night I couldnt find it when they did. When the snakes started coming out we left. I didnt want to risk myself or my pets in tall grass. Some things are issues for some but not others. Laundry and facilities were clean and kept and I felt totally safe there.

While waiting on my apartment to become available, I spent a month at Auburn RV park at Leisure Time Campground. My time there was very pleasant. I had zero problems during my stay, and would highly recommend this park to anyone visiting the Auburn area.

This was a very good campground near the interstate. The sites were gravel but perfectly level. The people in charge are awesome. This is an interesting RV park for a number of reasons. There are two elevations: the upper level is closer to the entrance/exit and the lower level is near the creek. Most of the sites are fairly level, full hookup with enough room for a picnic table and a small patch of grass. Cable TV is good. Friendly helpful office manager. No dog park but lots of places to walk your pets. Part of the RV park has a water park that also has campsites. However, the waterpark, access paths, and campsites along the creek are fenced in, and clear warnings against trespassing are posted. Sont know whether this is a seasonal closure or some other issue has caused it. We were here in January for 1 night but I imagine it would be a lot of fun during a sporting event.

I reserved and paid for a specific site several days in advance and when I checked in there was no mention of us having to change sites. Drove the RV with car in tow over to the site I had reserved and there was another RV in it. Drove back to the office and the staff said oh well, if there is another site open just take it. Luckily there was one pull through site left. The owner made contact with me after our stay and apologized for what had taken place. I will give them another try!

Facilities and grounds are well kept but sites are close and cramped. Would work well for those coming to an Auburn game but not for an actual camping trip.Be aware that sites 100-136 are in the storage lot (not in sites pictured online)b while they do have all hook ups, these sites are on asphalt and some of the sewage hooks sit up almost as high as sewage outlets on RVs.Also, the park office is only open for a couple of hours on weekends. We didnt see any office staff in person during our recent two-night stay.

What a lovely little oasis! Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra on one of the creekfront sites. It was an easy pull-through with our 40 Class A. Very quiet, and the RVs are not stacked on top of each other. The owner Thomas is first-rate, and made our stay very enjoyable. Very good value in a park. Head and shoulders above a KOA or similar. This place was awesome! Staff was super professional and friendly (especially pet friendly!😀). We never felt unwelcome. We are full time travelers and stay monthly and we came to this place. They have multiple working washers and dryers, the bathrooms are SO clean, the WiFi is good, the lots are flat gravel with great picnic tables. I really enjoyed being here because you felt at home. If we ever had any problems or questions, Thomas was quick to respond via call or text. We never had any issue other than a minor concern about water during a flash flood, and even then Thomas had a quick solution in case we needed it. His mom in the office is absolutely the best woman! Its a quiet creek/park setting with the softball fields next door for entertainment. Its location is superb, just enough out of town, directly across from the chewacla state park, yet close enough youre at shops within 5 minutes. The abandoned waterpark on the property is super cool, though prohibited to walk around in, its neat to see. This towns RV parks fill up for football season and this one is quite popular that there are reservations a year in advance, however we werent there long enough to experience it. If we ever come back thru Auburn we hope there will be open space for us to visit!
