Nice store but the location is terrible! aesthetically on the outside it could use some work not going to lie or it could just be the area. Inside is a whole other story, spacious and nice. There is no parking unless you want to pay across the street which is usually $3-$10 depending but if you Uber of take the train it works I guess, its literally within a stones throw of 5 point train station. Ive never had any issues here, the only reason I didnt give it 5 star is again for parking but what are going to do. If youre visiting the city, walking downtown or riding the train and happened to stop in the area definitely stop by Im sure theyll be more than happy to take care of you.

My wife and I walked several blocks just to visit this store. Unfortunately, all 3 employees were too busy behind the desk talking instead of helping me. After 10 minutes of no one helping me, we left and purchased shoes at a different store. Please have a hospitality training for your employees.

Terrible customer service. Very rude store manager, stay far away from this store. I was treated terribly and even laughed at by the manager and her associates. Complained to corporate office and have yet to hear back. Based on the way I was treated and the lack of customer respect from the manger and corporate office I will bad mouth this company to everyone I know. Based on other reviews I’m not the only one that experienced this.In response to the owner. Your staff needs a major overhaul and they need to learn to respect customers. Either way I expected a call back from the regional manager yesterday and have not heard anything. Maybe you should consider working on upper management as well.

By far the worst experience in the store Ive ever had in my life I understand if others steal from your store but if you have cameras and a wide open space to where you can see if someone stole something why are you having people being specifically watched if you see me standing in the middle of the store knowing that I have a book bag and I dont need to get anything and you havent seen me moved why are you having me watched if you see only one other person has a bag but you see stuff popping out of it that obviously means she has no room to steal s*** I mean whos going to steal one pair of shoes I mean really the most they can get away with it some clothes and they would have to be in the front of the store and try and steal that because you will get caught if youre in the middle or further back we didnt want to steal nothing we really needed a shirt for one of my homegirls and then they started wandering off looking at shoes that wasnt my fault and like I said being that I didnt need or want to get anything I stood in the middle of the store otherwise Ill try and give them my back so they wont think Im trying to steal anything and it was bad enough they were already African-American employees but we are African-American too and were already stereotyped and youre doing exactly what the others do to us so I will never ever spend my money at a City Gear in my life I dont care if theyre not all the same just because of that one store I dont feel comfortable take the extra precautions you need to so people wont steal I mean you have to also think of the location you decided to open the store up at

No customer service! Ive came to this location on different occasions and wasnt asked if I needed any help. The girls were doing their nails at the front desk.

The employees were very friendly and full of smiles. I couldnt find my card, so the associate was very patient until I could find another method of payment. This really meant a lot.
