Wholesale House is a great place to get flooring here in Santa Cruz county. The last time I carpeted my house thats where I ended up buying as their pricing beats just about anyone else and since they are a wholesaler, they are not tied to any particular brands.

When the premium vinyl tile that we liked would have taken too long to arrive from out of state, Gayle suggested a comparable brand with a local warehouse. The product was delivered to the showroom the next afternoon. And the following day, our recommended installers did an impeccable job installing the flooring and baseboards. We are so thankful for the excellent service and attention in helping us get this completed in such a short time frame.

Everyone I spoke to wanted to know about the project and with this knowledge was able to recommend the best flooring option for our space. The selection was extensive and the service was excellent! Thank you whole sale house!!!

They really went out of their way. I wanted a Acatia wood looking porcelain floor. Haley looked on her computer and is sending for samples from outside vendors. I am so impressed!

I first shopped the big box stores for new flooring. I wasn’t getting enough help or advice so I visited the Wholesale House. There a got just what (I thought) I needed. Right away I said that I have a 70 pound dog and I would need flooring that could stand up to her. The first woman I spoke to told me to choose the samples that I liked and she’d let me know if they would be appropriate. I choose several and she told me a couple were not work for me. I made my final decision and she told me it would be better if I chose the rustic version of that sample, which I did. I chose a rustic engineered wood in maple. My installer did an over-the-top job! It was artistic. I could not have asked for more. The flooring on the other hand started to scratch immediately. I visited the store to ask about the scratching and was given (by the same women who advised me on which flooring to purchase) a small amount of cleaner which I tried on the scratches but of course it didn’t help. I returned another time for help and the woman that was there that time told me that her adult daughter who has a heavier support dog plays catch in the house without any marks being left. This time I asked to speak to the owner and was told he was out-of-town but she’d leave him my number and message. I did not receive a call back. I called again and I emailed a couple of times without any response. Finally the owner connected with me and we made an appointment for him to see the floor. He came to the house saw all of the scratches and told me that my dogs nails needed to be trimmed. She had been to the vet the week before and I asked about her nails, her vet said they did not need trimming. The owner left saying “I’ll need to make some phone calls”. That was weeks ago. I am now shopping for an attorney.

What a wonderful place. I knew I needed carpet, wood, and tile, but didnt know how to go about it until a friend recommended The Wholesale House. They supplied advice, help, and beautiful carpet. Although they did not do tile work, they recommended a wonderful person, Gordon Bitler, who has just completed a beautiful job for my entryway. The Tile and Marble Outlet supplied a great product and Gordon has just completed the entryway - he is a real artist and the design is perfect. Next is installation of beautiful carpet in three rooms and laminate in the hallway, done by Nick Shubin. Thanks to all the help and coordination provided by Gail at the Wholesale House, my home will look better than new inside.

It looks very small, so you wouldnt think they would have a lot of products, but they have more than enough. Carpets and wood flooring, with a wide range of types and quality. After shopping at other stores, I thought the prices here were better. In addition, they do NOT do installation, so they have no stake in that end (other stores may pay their installers a subpar wage). They will hook you up with some excellent installers. I ended up buying a very nice engineered (essentially plywood) maple floor for about the same price as floor store chains were charging for laminate! And dont even think about comparing to Home depot products.
