I was really impressed with this place. They had my new window in stock, got me right in, and told me they would have it done in 45-60 minutes. . They called me about 50 minutes later and it was done, and the job looks great. They stand behind the work with a generous warranty. End-to-end this was one of the best experiences I have had for auto work in Anchorage. Window was broken out Saturday afternoon. I contacted Anchorage Auto Glass that afternoon close to closing time and was told to make contact when they opened Monday morning. Jacob worked hard to hunt down a replacement windshield for my Tacoma as they have been consistently on backorder for the past year. He drove his own truck across town to a distributor in order to verify it would be the right fit. He brought it back to the shop and installed it for me on the spot.Above and beyond service, Ill only be using his shop for any future needs.

Nice friendly people work here. I have nothing against the owner or employees. I did get a bad piece of glass with imperfections that cause road lines to distort and headaches. Within 30 days I went back and the owner and he said he could put a new windshield in for just the cost of the window, labor free. It seems they dont guarantee the glass if it has distortions and youll have to repurchase the window in case you get a bad window. From the many positive reviews here I am hoping this situation is a rare occurrence.

This guy has a scary dog, but always gets the job done right and fast. Try and catch him early in the day as it gets busy later on.

I wanted to go somewhere local to get my windshield repaired. I was offered a discount off of my insurances deductible making this the cheapest windshield repair I have ever paid for! They were extremely communicative, helpful, and kind. I would recommend them for any auto glass needs.

Had my side window shattered, one call to Jacob and he was all over it. Brought it by amazingly friendly and professional. Got me in right away, vacuumed all of the glass out and had me on my way in no time. He even noticed that the stripping along the windshield was loose and fixed it. Highly recommended.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating when I arrived for my appointment. And they did a great job replacing the windshield on my crossover.Unfortunately, I can only give one star because of the following:#1I was quoted $250 on the 23rd of April for their services. On the day of my appointment (30th), I was still charged $250 even though Jacob acknowledged the $100 voucher on checkout. He even helped me navigate through my app to mark the coupon as redeemed - only to find out that I was STILL charged full price when I checked my credit card balance at home.#2I had to drive back to their establishment after I tried to resolve the problem over the phone - Mr. Jacob said, he is too busy to accommodate me.#3Excuses:I was told 250 is the already a DISCOUNTED price. When I asked Why didnt you tell me its 350 then? I got the answer I felt bad for you. You wouldnt buy it otherwise!#4Mr. Jacob is busy and seems to be under tremendous pressure. But its not an excuse to raise his voice at me.#5I was handed a $30 refund to cover my Groupon purchase. After receiving it, I heard Mr. Jacob say, Thirty dollars! What a joke!#6Other customers can get the discount. But I cannot. (refer to image)I have brought two vehicles to them over the years and was never disappointed. Somewhat meaningless to write a review when so many other reviews say the same thing, but this place is fantastic! I just got home from getting my windshield replaced and have already recommended them to 2 other people. Apart from very fast service and getting a good deal, I received education on the process of replacing a windshield, information on the products used, and many tips about how to care for the windshield if a chip occurs. Oh by the way, they offer free repairs for chips w/in 30 days of getting a new windshield. I had been putting off replacing a badly cracked windshield for over 2 years, but finding such an excellent company sure takes a lot of the sting out of the experience!

The price of the glass itself was very good, but the quality of work has been horrible.Upon getting back home I found most of my rear seat bolts loose, to include seat belt bolts. My key fob transmitter was not working, I had to pull the rear seat to find out they left the transponder unplugged. The worst part though is that after they did my rear window replacement it has leaked like crazy. I had to tape the window up to keep it from leaking.I was told 2 hours to do the window, took 4 and they still did a horrible job.I’d never refer anyone to this place.

This place is fantastic. We had a small rock chip on the windshield that we wanted to take care of before it spread. I called anchorage auto glass around 11 and they had immediate or afternoon availability. He offers an awesome $40 for 3 chip deal. The work was done in less than 15 minutes. FYI - there are two employee doors around back and the customer entrance around the other side of the building. Use the customer door!! Also, the shop dog Lenny is beautiful and very sweet. Definitely check this place out.

One of the chips was quite an eyesore and from leaving it unattended for so long, the damage was pretty much irreversible. Yet, he worked his magic and didnt charge me for the gnarly chip. This is the first time Ive reviewed anyone via this platform, but the owner Jacob was so nice and helpful, I had to give a shout-out. He squeezed us in to a busy day because we were from out of town, and then saved us money by guessing that a leak wasnt coming from the windshield but the roof. He took time to explain how hed handle it and said to give him a call if we had any other questions. It turned from an hour-long appointment into a DIY job. Ill certainly come back here if I need auto glass in the future.

Ive replaced 3 windshields with these guys now, all on different vehicles. The other guys wanted $1000 for my Mercedes and I got it here for under $300. Their glass is high quality also, none of the wavy look of some of their competitors. Ive had one of their windshields on my truck for over a year now without a crack even after multiple rocks.They arent a huge operation, so be patient with them on quotes & scheduling. You wont be disappointed with their service once you get in.

Update a few hours later: 3 StarThe owner called me and wanted to reconcile for the incident. I appreciate that he sought me out and admitted that he regretted the situation. He offered to replace my windshield at his cost, and I feel that this is a fair solution to the issue. The owner showed a lot of character by reaching out. It was an unfortunate situation, but I feel that he did all that he should have for customer service.Came in with two small rock chips and left angry with a big crack in the windshield. I went with a groupon to fix a few small rock chips, and they quickly sent someone out to fix them. After a couple minutes of setting up the employee asked me if a big crack was in the windshield before. I told him that it wasnt because I would be replacing my windshield if that was the case. So he went inside to talk to the owner and the owner came out and told me that the windshield was already broken and that any pressure could cause the crack to show. So basically he told me it was not their fault and that they would put my groupon toward a new windshield that would be another $160.So I went in with two small rock chips and now I have to pay to replace an entire windshield and they were unwilling to make up for their mistake.

Had an emergency leak in my windshield and Jacob took me in immediately between scheduled appointments and fixed my windshield. Was able to save the windshield and save me some money too. Recommend going to him for any problems you may be having.

Windshield replacement on 2006 Kia Optima. Easy appointment setting process. Uses electronic communications / office facilities very effectively for great communications. Took less than 30 minutes from arrival to driving away. Cleaned the dashboard top in addition to the glass. MOST IMPORTANTLY - This is NOT CHEAP KNOCKOFF glass. This is EXACTLY WHAT was removed with the exact same sunscreening and masking.

Got me in quick and replaced my windshield with no wait- great service.

Emailed for a quote for my windshield. Received an email for me to call the number given. I called the number left a message. Waited a week no response. Left another email and another message. Two more weeks no return call or email just for a quote. Will probably just stick with Safelite. After he apologizes publically on here. He doesnt take but a few hours to email me to tell me my review was a bit harsh trying to guilt me. Then lies saying hes tried to call me numerous times and email even though I tell him theres no phone call from his phone or emails from him and that he could have left a message or text me the quote as fast as he replied to my review. He then tells me sure I have screen shots I guess he was trying to make me believe he kept screen shots of everything he tried to do to contact me. Then he says but Im not gonna waste time on an angry person. So if you give a bad review expect him to try to guilt you or take personal shots at you. Ive seen one other review where he was telling a woman she was confused because she said he acted like he didnt want to be on the phone and was rude. He doesnt take criticism well. If you want to be abused def call him. To bad I cant post my screen shots from what he said to me on here.....but thats what FB is for. Thanks Jacob
