I have previously been to Pep Boys a few times but I especially loved my experience at this one. I came in after my tire blew out and received help pretty much immediately. Jorge was at the register this day and helped me so willingly to ease effort on my part. He was very patient with the malfunctions behind my credit card tab through Pep Boys with the determination to have me leave the store having paid for my service-every step of the way. I can tell he truly cares about the safety and security of his customers.

I was worried that my A/C service was going to end up an expensive trip but the guys were honest and made me feel very comfortable. Jorge was great, he was polite and very helpful. Alex, the mechanic, was also great he went ahead and explained to me all that he did and what to watch out for. I am very happy and will definitely come back for the rest of my vehicle needs.

Still waiting on a phone call about whats wrong with my car. SIX HOURS LATER. was told theres appointments ahead of me. I understand that theres probably only certain people that can run those test. But simply calling me and keeping me updated that Im not going to get a call about whats wrong with my car today would be nice and appreciated. Please dont respond telling me to email yall. Ive already lost out on a lot of money with missing clients being late to work and not having a car. Spending hundreds on users. So it would be nice to get just a ROUGH estimate when I could get my car back.

Service was good. Zero wait time. I went in for an alignment and possibly tire repair. Didnt need tire repair so I didnt get charged for that. Tech still checked all my tires. Only thing I would change is allow clients to tip the technicians. I tried to. He wouldnt take it. Ill come back again.

I came for a Lyft inspection. They stole my 2 front tires and replaced them with some old worn tires. Then they failed my inspection and said I needed 2 front tires. I dont recommend this pep boys. They have a scam going on. I hope Lyft canceles their contract with them

Went to Pep Boys in Anaheim on Lincoln at Beach today to get my car inspected for Lyft Rideshare. When I walked into the front service center office I saw a young lady. One does not find too many women auto service advisor these days. First her name is Tracy T. and she greeted me right away and was very nice. I asked her for information on doing a Lyft inspection and she immediately started helping me. Did I tell you how nice she was? She personal performed the inspection right then and there. My car past and it was just a great experience. I told her I will be back for future car service work and she suggested I should just ask for her next time, but that anyone there would be happy to help me anytime. Great Job Pep Boys for hiring the best. Sometime the best man for the job is a woman and her name is Tracy T. Ask for Tracy next next time you go to this Pep Boys for auto service, you wont be disappointed. Oh, did I tell you just how nice she was?

Called to ask for a simple estimate of a battery replacement. The lady working put me on hold saying she was going to take care of the customer there first and I said alright. After 20 min of waiting on hold, I figured I would drive to the location since it was 0.1 mi away from me, but I remained on hold. I walk in and the lady was already asking you see if she can help me as a new customer. I asked her if she had anybody on hold, which she did. At this point, it was clear she was neglecting the customer on the phone, which was me. Lousy customer service, dont bother coming here. They clearly dont want your business.

Service was fast and the price was about average I came in when there wasnt alot of customers but it started picking up the service desk was up front that there were only a couple of techs working so it could take a while but it worked out for me

Had a price quote to fix my air conditioning in my car for a 1000 dollars and when i cam to pick up my car they told me that the bill was 1700. I said what was going on but they said they couldn’t get hold of my mechanic and that is my price. Wow!!!

The advertised price is $24.99 with coupon and I was charged $28.19 with coupon +tax, so ended up paying $29.62 👎, the manager contacted me and apologized for the mistake and gave me a very satisfactory resolution.

I have been serviced by Pepboys Anaheim since 2013 and they have always been so great!A staple in the community for sure!Great service, timely manner, honest quotes and opinions. They are like family at this point, Chava and the Boys manage time and communicate any concerns off the bat and bring concerns to my attention when I have no clue. They have my trust, I drive all the way from Oceanside just to have their service.

After towing my car over there on a Chevy van they called me and said the problem was fuel pump and the cost is around 1000to fix. I agreed to the cost and car got fixed but after my guys drove the car back to our location we realized that the gas gauge doesn’t work anymore and the engine light is on we took the car back to Pep Boys same location they couldn’t fix it they sent us back to another location they still couldn’t fix it I asked the mechanic guy to give me something in writing that it’s not coming from the same location because I never had that gas gauge problem before anyhow I’m pretty unhappy because I know the gas gauge is directly referred to the gas tank and fuel pump

Spoke to day manager at Pepboys on Lincoln in Anaheim, CA...on 5/11/2018 @ 3:45pm for Escalade rear shocks replacement.explained I had to work at 5:00am following day. Was told work would be finished since they close at 8:00pm, when I called at 6:30pm, was informed car has not yet been looked at and was told by night manager that the day manager informed them to start the maintenance first thing in morning.....went to pick up unfinished and disappointed....Company very unreliable, untrustworthy, unprofessional, and a big waste of time..I would suggest else where for better satisfaction and trust.....

Well its two hours past the time they were supposed to call telling me I could come get the part I was able to pick up at Auto Zone with the tool I needed to get the job done. Not to good Pep Boys while Im at it when I went in your branch yesterday evening to ask for the part I needed the store had nobody to help me as two other customers and myself waited the manager and lone employee were in the office after about four minutes of waiting they emerged and the manager exited the store leaving one person to help the 3 of us there and put two phone calls on hold as the phone rang unanswered the entire time the two were in the office then got put on hold while my part was ordered and I was told I would get a call by 11:00 when my part was there for me to pick up and as of yet at 12:41 Ive yet to receive a call nor could they provide the tool I needed either for rent or sale.

Got a decent price on a battery, just had to order it online to get the good price then pick it up at the store. The guy working there was almost clueless about filling the order I made and took several times trying to get the right sale price I was supposed to get. I had to correct them 3 times. I think they were out of the one I ordered so they gave me one they thought compared. Just a lot of extra time spent that wasnt necessary

Went in to get brakes serviced. They said to repair brakes it would cost $790. Went to another mechanic (Abel & Sons) and they fixed it for $129. Pep Boys has ripped off other people I know. Pep Boys used to be (many years ago) a place I used to trust. NOT ANY MORE!

Theyre great helped me out with a bolt I had to fit to my catalytic converter. They dont sell a large selection of bolts. I got it from the old nuts and bolts bucket. I also told them about my experience with an oil change at another brand name store. They have good crew working there.

Pumped my tires up to 54 psi on low profile tire.. my tires exploded when I took it home lol. Like what are ur techs thinking pumping 52 psi in 20 inch rim with small side walls lol. 50+ psi goes in suv tire.

Came in for an oil change and brakes. After inspecting my brake they were honest and said the brakes were still good and recommended I hold-off. This has never happened anywhere. Twice already with half as many miles, I have been told the brakes need to be replaced. This single act will make sure I come back here when the brakes do need to be replaced. Considering its my sons birthday weekend, I appreciate this honesty so much. The oil change was completed shortly after and everything is good.

Customer service has improved slightly with newer employees. I only shop here when I NEED to. DONT WASTE TIME WITH WARRANTY EXCHANGES AT THIS LOCATION. Even though you pay extra for products with better warranty, the female supervisor/ manager will do what she can to deny the exchange.

This spot was recommended to me by a friend. I came in to patch a tire and it was easy to tell that I was in a rush that day.They were fast and professional. Sensing that I was in a rush they didnt try to sell me anything else and had me out back on the road in no time.

This shop used to be our go-to because of its reliability and timeliness of repairs. Most important of all, this was a shop my Petite Red Headed Passion Flower could go to and not be in fear of being sold a bill of goods.Recently, this shop has gone downhill in regards to not only what we perceived to be mechanical capability but customer service also. Our last three visits have been less than satisfactory. Examples would include the incorrect installation of an EGR valve (never mind that it took 4 days to diagnose, we were cool with it), the lack of a timely phone call to tell us our vehicle was ready (when the initial phone call from the Service Manager committed to a phone call to tell us when the vehicle was ready). This resulted in short words with the staff as they were closing up shop. Last but not least, a recent oil change in my diesel truck was the last straw. I waited in the store while the oil was changed and the tires rotated. The Service Manager told me my vehicle was ready, I paid and drove away. Half way home I received a phone call on my cell to return to the shop. Seems the shop shorted me one quart of oil and it was no big deal. I returned to find the mechanic actually shorted me 4 quarts!I give up! Pep Boys has always been a good economical decision when it came to the work our our vehicles. I have choices and I would prefer to pay a couple bucks more to get it done right the first time somewhere else. We are over Pep Boys.

Called and spoke to Jose about a bulb for my truck because I switched to led in the dash. He explained the issue I was having and explained the resolution. I know about cars and it didnt click in my head about what he said. It felt good knowing how to address the issue thanks to jose

Employees in the tire shop are all moody and give you the attitude like Dont Bother Me!If you do not want to work and deal with people who help the business that you are working for, then you should perhaps change your field of work and work behind the scenes!!! We are taking our business elsewhere to your competitors since you fail to help and assist the public.

Very rude and unprofessional! They added $200 to the quote literally from an hour earlier when I called 2nd time. Very distrustful and scam like. When I started to ask them why they added an extra $200 from the last quote they gave me earlier, they hung up on me! If you like peace of mind and no headache DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!

I called and asked if they could do a valve stem last minute 8pm at night. Service manager said bring it in. I did and the dude was so cool and helpful he had me put the door in 10 minutes back on the road to work the next day. A+ guys at this location.

I brought my used SUV in for a maintenance check because my ‘engine Light’ came on. So after patiently waiting, the technician and Manager BOTH agreed that I had a blown head gasket! Dayum! I’m screwed right?? So I take it into the dealership, and guess what? It’s NOT a broken/cracked head gasket, just a bad electrical coil.. I even had a supervisor/double check.. Nope, so I will NEVER go back to a Pep boys because you are most likely going to get jacked! And the sad thing is, they had Absolutely NO problem taking a LOT of money for something I didn’t even need! Fraud!!

I left my keys and the car and he told me appointments had him booked until tomorrow, but if anyone doesnt show up we will get you in. Within the hour, Joel called me and told me my car was done! Thanks for the price match that saved me more than I spent out the door. WOW!!!!!

Was looking for some parts for my 1967 Triumph Spitfire which is very hard to come by. Talked to a young boy named alejandro or alexandro i believe. I was surprised that he was so helpful. For being very young he sure knew alot about cars especially older ones like mine. Great to talk to someone who actually knows about cars and doesnt just type it in the computer. Had a nail removed from my tire, for which I waited 3 hours! Only to have to re-repair somewhere else the following day. The place is ran by teenagers who know little about their services. [[[For some reason...the rest of the original information has been redacted... But here is a summation of it]]] I am transgender, and as I waited for these kids to fix my tire, I was stared at, pointed at, and snickered at from behind glass the entire time! I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable. And I DIDNT appreciate the treatment or the quality of service I received!

I went for a front end brake job. They diagnosed it quickly & also estimated repairs on other issues. However it seemed like they were under staffed. It about 4hrs to complete my repairs.
