This was my first time coming into Monro in Amherst and I can say that the experience was great and very easy as a customer. everything was explained to me in people terms. here at Monro in Amherst. Jesse and Brian were exceptional.

I am a little late writing this review I was here the night before Thanksgiving because my back tire kept loosing air so I spoke with Nikki and she was so helpful got me right in and Tyler was the one that plugged my tire and came out and showed me the screw that was in it and I asked him how much and he said to me nothing just give us a chance to serve you in the future you don’t get this kind of service anywhere these days it puts your faith back in people so I was able to go about my business and I actually stopped back down to bring these 2 good souls a dozen donuts for there kindness now I am back today for an oil change and check engine issue and I have the pleasure of dealing with the manager and Brian how can one establishment have so many kind and caring people this is definitely my new go to for my car issues thank you for your great service

I needed an oil change. I had a two day window while in Nashua. Upon entering the Monro, I was immediately greeted by an employee who kindly asked what he could do for me. Oil change. Sir, we are very busy right now, but we do want to help; can you do tomorrow? I could. Because of the price and the professionalism of this young man, I made an appointment for noon the next day. I was greeted by the same friendly man. Took a ten minute walk. Both me and my car are happy. There is a good aura at the shop. I will return again.

The team is professional, courteous and accommodated me as a walk in. The tech explained the inspection process, transparently explained safety points on my inspection and provided helpful recommendations. They are clearly interested in developing relationships with customers rather than just one-time visits.

One of the best experiences I ever had to be honest. Service was quick and time efficient. The front desk worker, Eric, showed me exactly what was wrong with my vehicle and explained everything in close detail. I came into monro in amherst and was greeted by the assistant manager brian. And his co worker nikki. The store was busy today yet they were able to get my vehicle in and give me professional service with a smile.

Took my jeep in for an alignment and have stuff looked over that the dealership said i needed to have today. And being a young mom of 3 i dont have alot of time to wait. I took it over to monro in amherst where the manager Brian checked the vehicle over in detail and told me i dont need anything the dealership said i did. He told me my alignment was a little out and he fixed it. They way he handled it was very professional and quick. I highly recommend going to see brian and amherst monro. You will not regret it.

I came in today for just an oil change and getting new rear tires. I had some questions about possible work that was needed as well. I was provided with timely and professional service. I was also provided with a wealth of knowledge on things I need done or can do myself. My mom has used these guys several times when she inevitably has car issues while visiting from out of town. They have always come through for her - so much that she wanted me to write this review because she doesnt have gmail. They are quick and courteous and very reasonably priced.

I had a great experience today at Monro on 101A. Having waited too long for my state inspection, I dropped my son at drivers Ed and called Valvoline to see if they had a wait. They said 2 hours and I couldnt make an appointment for another time. I had to take my chances. I stopped into Monro just because it was right on the corner and they took my car on the spot AND the whole inspection took maybe 15 minutes. #newcustomer

When it comes to car repair there are many options. Pricing is important but establishing trust and being treated fairly and professionally is equally important to me. I had a great experience at Monro thanks to tech Andy. His professionalism, attention to detail and fantastic pricing earned my business. Andy sensed my urgency to have my car repaired quickly and even worked 45 minutes after they closed to accommodate. A companys reputation is only good as the people they hire and Andy sold me as a happy Munro client. I highly recommend.

These company has great service and fare prices. Best of all they found a serious issue with Steering that I didnt even know about and fixed while I was waiting.

Experience was efficient, and staff knowledgeable. They made it an easy in-and-out experience for my oil change, and also showed me general health aspects of my car like my air filter, etc. which I was not expecting but was a very nice bonus! Waiting room is clean and comfortable.

Apon pulling up we were greeted with a clean parking lot, no trash, not even oil stains! This shows me they care about how the business looks not only on the inside but outside! Next was the very nice man at the front desk, he helped us quickly and efficiently to figure out pricing, and what the car needed. The lobby is very clean and organized they have a great selection of entertainment to keep busy while waiting. Monro employees are keeping us updated and just being super friendly overall! This garage is 10/10 the best around to get any work done! Would recommend to anyone who need work done! Super thankful for the helpful and super friendly guy at the front desk! 10/10 would come back.

Went for an oil change which they accomplished quickly and at a very good price. Andy, was great, and made sure I knew what was needed to be fixed. He was straight forward but not pushy! I will go there for all of my work!

These guys were awesome, friendly and extremely helpful. I needed a low profile tire put on last minute and they were able to get me in without an appointment right before close with no complaints. They got me in and out quick, while still showing care and patience with putting the tire on. If anyone owns low profile tires you know how much of a pain they can be mounting and balancing them and these guys did an awesome job. Would recommend to anyone.

Im a local uber driver as well as down in Boston. I needed new brakes and had a check engine light on.. Brought my car and these guys took care of it quickly, with precision and care. The get me in and out same day, even working around a job interview I had that day. Specifically, Nick worked on my car and did an amazing job, while I believe it was Andy or Jason who dealt with me personally in the office. At first I had called Monro to make sure I could get in and they could get the parts/work done in time for when I needed it. Eric was the name he gave me over the phone and the way he explained EVERYthing and walked me thru how they’d have to order the parts, wait for them to be delivered, and then start my car was awesome because it gave me a better understanding of what would be happening. When I showed up to drop the car off I believe it was Eric and Jesse that we’re at the counter and I really appreciated the way they immediately greeted me while walking thru the door even tho assisting another customer. There was a few issues while they were under my car and I was very thankful and appreciated every courtesy call they made to explain to me what was happening and to ask if I wanted to proceed instead of just doing extra things that weren’t initially explained to me and me finding out during billing. Once I picked up my car, while in the office one of the gentleman politely got my information verified before charging me while the other reviewed my invoice with me and broke down every charge, as I am a female who knows NOTHING of cars and many places take full advantage of people like myself. Thank you Monro Amherst for doing EXACTLY what was explained to me, as well as Jesse and Eric for your fantastic customer service! Very impressed and will definitely be bringing my business back here!!!

I walked in the shop and was warmly greeted by a man named Nick. Long story short, the customer service he and the whole crew at Monro provided me was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Its rare you come across people who care so much about their job, the customer, and the reputation of their establishment. Nick went out of his way to assist me, and even delayed his lunch by over 30 minutes to help folks who stopped by without an appointment. He did it all with a million dollar smile on his face. As long as Nick and the rest of the crew are there, I will never, ever, under any circumstances bring my car any where else.

The owner was very upbeat and informative. He found the correct type of oil for my car. It was a tiny bit of a wait, but not a problem for me. They also replaced the oil plug at no charge. I would highly recommend them, especially the owner, who was wonderful.

Douglass is very funny and entertaining as well and makes the reasonable wait for service more enjoyable. I have had my car serviced here more than once and the work has always been done right the first time at an affordable price. I would highly recommend using this establishment.

Had an exhaust pipe that needed to be replaced. Called around to a few shops and Monroe had the best price (~100 dollars cheaper than a full service mechanic). I checked on line and had a good idea what the retail price would be for the pipes & hangers. Dropped the car off the day before and it was ready ~ 4 pm the following day.Not sure what happened or why, but they could not re-install the new pipe according to the factory specifications using the proper gaskets so the pipe had to be welded to the catalytic converter. If the cat converter ever needs to be replaced now Ill need to also replace the pipe that was just installed as the fittings on both have been irreversibly damaged (flange cut off of exhaust pipe, stub welded to converter). I was told they tried several gaskets and none fitted properly - even one purportedly purchased from the dealer. Really? My guess is that something got damaged during dis-assembly or otherwise mucked up. Had I known this would happen, I would have taken the vehicle someplace else to get it properly fixed.ETA 22Nov2014: In response to Brittanys reply to my post, I called the number she listed and left a message. I will update this review once I hear back from her. I Googled Brittanys number and it appears to be linked to a number of negative reviews for various muffler shops around the country.

I have been bringing my vehicles here for over a year now. The manager Kevin and his team have been extremely accommodating. Theyve been able to find root cause power-steering issues in the most obscure area. Very fairly priced and great to work with. They have a customer for life!

My Daughters started going to Monroe over the last 12 months. They had a few issues with their vehicles. Monroe has quoted them fairly and have not overcharged them. What impressed me more was they didnt charge them for some items they found faulty or needed fixing in addition to the original problem. With college age kids this is appreciated since money is tight for them. Staff is down to earth and helpful.
