Not up to the normal HD standard.... but not too bad. Not as clean/organized as I expected

I prefer going to the Allen park location! It usually is more organized and clean than some of the surrounding Home Depot’s. Staff is a bit more friendly too. :)

Plumbing products are also available for repairs and improvements. Electrical equipment and tools are generally available for purchase as well as consulting help. All sorts of tools and LED portable lights are available! You will generally surprised as to what a well planned store and staff can do to your planning needs and as well as rentals that you may need! Super staff, location, hours of operation and products make this store the one to go to for all kinds of home improvements needs !

I ordered three appliances and paid to get them installed. They were late in delivering them, and the install/delivery team (which were not Home Depot employees) were unable to install any of the appliances. They were very unprofessional from the start. It was through a company called US Home Freight. They didn’t have the parts to install the drier. They said they wouldn’t touch the washer hoses because they were ‘private contractors’. That said, they didn’t even take the shopping bolts out! And when it came to the dishwasher, they didn’t want to install it because we have granite countertops and you need a special plate (which Home Depot failed to mention when purchasing the appliances. Now, had the individual taken two seconds to look under the counter, he would have seen that the plate was already installed and in place. When I called Home Depot to complain, they informed me that they, “might be able to refund me for the installation fees” but that they, “don’t do installs themselves”. So basically, we aren’t able to help you, and we might keep the money we charged you to do a service that we didn’t provide.Needless to say, that did not sit well, and I made sure I got my money back.Do not go through Home Depot if you are interested in getting appliances and having them installed!!!!!!!

This is the worst experience I’ve had. If you are a buyer I recommend DO NOT BUY OR ORDER FROM HERE. I ordered a door beginning of April and they set out the day for it to be ready for pickup on June 11. After that they continued to delay the pickup date 4 times. That is ridiculous. How are you going to delay something I ordered 4 times? They will give you a date then continue to delay. Please do not order or buy from here I don’t want anyone else to go through what I’m going through. It is currently end of July and I still haven’t received the door I ordered. They are stealing my money at this point. Home Depot, please give me the door I ordered or give me my money back because you can’t just steal my money. You’re a huge company there’s no need to steal money from me!

They really need to clear out all that clutter on aisles and really CLEAR that store...

Stopped in to get a few items I needed & a few things I wanted.The store was clean,organized,shelves well stocked. I am happy I stopped there, surely was happy when I left! :)

Stopped in the garden center today got some assistance by a very nice representative working right on the back. I was able to pick up two hanging baskets under $25 she got me a paper liner to put my flowers in the backseat of my car if they were too big to fit into a bag they are gorgeous and her assistance for me was great.

Needs more help during peak seasons. Cant remember clerks name but he was working in screws, hasps, hardware etc. Poor man had white aisle full of people, he called for help 5 times to no avail. He was great and had extensive knowledge but was only one person!

Home Depot is a great place to get home improvement items however the customer service is terrible if youre not sure of exactly what you want and where it is youre in trouble. Trying to get someone to help you is nearly impossible . This has been my experience with the Home Depot on 7mile and on Ford Road. There is one exception and thats the one on Outer Drive near Southfield. If you think youre going to need help I suggest you go there.

Can be a bit too difficult to find help! And sometimes they arent able to assist. But the store is organized nicely and the people are friendly

Aaron in millworks is an excellent employee. Exceptional customer service. Home Depot is lucky to have someone like him. UPDATE : There are some real dim bulbs working here. Several bad experiences lately, particularly while calling. Management really needs to step up their training.

Staff there were very friendly, one took me to the stuff I was looking for, and the other corrected the price for me at the check out. Will definitely come here again.

Mark in the plumbing dept is incredibly knowledgeable. I have a 100+ year old house and he showed me what to do and picked out and assembled the materials I needed. He has helped me before like this. This kind of service is why people return to a business.

Ordered 4 interior doors from Home Depot. It took a month for a installer to come measure. Over a week to contact me after measurements, and then install was over 2 weeks out! Fast forward to the day before install. I Get a call confirming that I will receive a call no later than 10am with my install time the next day, and to make sure driveway and sidewalk are cleared and salted (Michigan in January) I contacted my babysitter (I have 3 children 5 and under) and confirmed with my employer I was taking the day off. Morning of install I did as requested and prepared the area that was going to be worked in only to receive a call at 10am saying my back hurt and the earliest I can get there is Saturday, if you can’t do that day I don’t know when I can do it. I have since spoken to Home Depot and was essentially told well take the Saturday that’s the earliest they can do it. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL! Even when I stated Saturday is a very busy day for me and I didn’t know if I can get the kids out of the way with a babysitter, it was reiterated that Saturday is the only day they can guarantee install. Never once was I asked what day is best for you or what can we make work. I am so disappointed and really am tempted to cancel the order. I will update as I haven’t cancelled yet. As of now I would advise to work with a more professional company that realizes you have to make arrangements as well and rescheduling last minute isn’t just not a big deal and when you’ve been waiting almost 2 months it’s extremely unprofessional!

Book a box truck, they cancelled saying there wasnt one. Get there around the time I booked and there was one. Got double charged do to this and had to wait multiple days to get the first back. Truck was filthy and breaking down and they didnt care just waved me off.

The ladies in the insectiside area were very helpful.

Great experience and friendly service. Bought a new fridge and the sales lady wasnt pushy on selling us extra stuff.

Dealing with covet 19 I like going early in the morning or at least around 7:00 p.m. everybody was very friendly I was welcomed by home Depot twice during this visit. My cashier was very courteous.

I just did a return today, and noticed signs of neglect. The front entrance is carpet squares that can easily be replaced, or removed and not be replaced. Just an eyesore when you walk in the front door.I noticed the hand sanitizer station had a broken dispenser. Do you care, or did you just make the motion to get it the first time, and cant replace the broken piece. I didnt take the time to shop, but I wouldnt be surprised if they sold a replacement pump.There were always 3 employees in the return area, but only one actually processing returns. I was 5th in line and waited 20 minutes to process my return. Maybe its I didnt have to wait so long I wouldnt of thought about the nasty carpet in the front entrance, and wouldnt have bothered with this post. Who knows, the carpet is starting to peel up and become a trip hazard.Sad, just sad.

I had an issue today with a tool comb kit I purchased. The employees were doing their jobs and I understood there was nothing they could do. I asked for the Manager and a gentleman by the name of Josh arrived. It was something out his control as well but! With a little work he took great care of me. It took some shuffling but I was very pleased with his service. I wish I could’ve shaken his hand. Thanks Josh. I believe he was the Asst Manager.

Workers dont really know what youre asking for, but we figured it out. We got what we needed.

Saw a great deal on a compressor and 3 air guns. Asked an associate aisles away if shed find an associate to get the package down from the top storage shelf. To my shock, maybe 3 minutes later the very same associate shows up with a lift to retrieve it! Incredibly prompt service! Awesome well trained staff! And a good deal on the tools too!

Customer service is non existent. I went in to purchase a 40 gal hot water tank. Asked an employee who was just coming on shift if he could assist me in getting the tank. He was nice enough to page someone to assist me, 5 times i heard that page. So i went and loaded it myself.

Today went well. Returned a tape measure for a better one all the employees were VERY HELPFUL. Got in & got out

Of all the home depots Ive been to, I think the staff here is the friendliest I have met. And they are incredibly competent and able to help you find what you need. (Shoutout to Ken for helping me find the fitting for my gas lines that Lowes neither carried, nor knew what it was.) Ill not be going back to the Lowes again. This is my home improvement store.

Home Depot is still a store that has a lot to offer, but unfortunately its difficult to find help in the aisles.

Repair department for lawn mowers is top of the line. Third mechanic I had taken my lawn mower to hes the only one that saw the problem.

Clean and I could hear associates asking people if they need help also felt safe because they do follow cdc.

Customer service is very kind. Very organized.

DO NOT !! Buy anything that needs to b delivered from the home depot in Allen Park! Bought a new stove and fridge from here and thier delivery service is total garbage. So far they delivered the stove with scratches and on the first date scheduled to deliver the fridge after I took out all food and missed a day of work, mind u the delivery was supposed to be between 1030 and 230, they call and say they cant deliver for another 2 weeks,now 2 weeks later again no show up no call no nothing, dont waste your time and moneyat this store ! More lost food another lost day and just a huge problem

Great customer service . They need to give their workers tools to show they are helping others when they busy . I see a lot of pressure to workers to many customer to asking one worker .

Generally a good store its clean. Employees are more than happy to help you if youre in the store. On the phone these guys are not that great. If you dont have a sku or an item number forget getting much help on the phone. In store theyre very helpful and courteous.

I needed to return an item last week and they wouldnt do it because of my drivers license. I just got it renewed, (DOB 9/25) so I still had the old one with the new tab the SOS staples to it. That was good enough for my credit union and other transactions but not good enough for Home Depot. I believe that they still should have allowed my return and not denied it on the account of a technicality especially due to this pandemic time. I wanted to talk to a manager about it but I didnt have time to wait for one to come and decided to see what other customers thought about it.

Wonderful. Very helpful. I have been to others,Dearborn on mercury drive, and the Livonia area on Middlebelt off 96. My experiences there were awful. Couldnt get help and when you did, they were rude. I didnt make them come to work. And no, I am not white. Its sad. Without customers, you wouldnt be working, no matter what your race is

It was a good place, the staff were a bit careless to help me though, tried asking 4 different employees for help, they all just pointed and said it might be that way. Even when I passed back by them, didnt ask me if I found what I was looking for, When I was empty handed. And what I was looking for i needed help with, loading and carrying it anyway.. i just know that youd sell more if theyd help sell it. Someone that goes in there looking for something not knowing which is the best option, you can easily help them make a decision knowing a little more about the product then the customer might. Overall, good product selection, just seemed like a ghost town when you needed help. That isnt a good thing.

Had to return an item and swap for new one. Line moved very quickly to get in the building (covid19 rules). Once I was in and got to customer service everything went very, very quickly and easily. Kim at customer service was above and beyond my greatest expectations. Very nice, helpful, and courteous. Very happy customer.

You dont have to wait in a long line 2 to The covid-19 pandemic they run out your items fast when ordering online the store is not over packed or overwhelmed nor is there long lines very good operating store

The lady who helped me with a paint issue was from the Appliance Dept. She was very helpful but not sure. The two people working the Paint Dept were 10 customers deep in line.
