I came today for oil change and check up for the brakes thinking i need to service my brakes. The owner was nice and honest and in the end he said all my brakes were still good and no need to change/service anything. He did not try to add any weird service for profit.. very honest and nice person. Will come back for sure!

While driving to work had a flat tire. Friend at work recommended this location. Being an older single female Im leary of any new garage but Jerry is an excellent front man and set me at ease from the first phone call. When I got there they were all extremely polite and got me in and out much faster then the garage I normally go to. The cost of the service was good and Im very happy with this location. They also have great oil change specials. I asked before leaving.Recommend this Midas 👌🙂

They had a same day availability as the day I called. They called me within 45 minutes of me dropping it off to inform me yes I needed brakes and rotors and within an hour and a half called me to say the brakes were completed. Excellent service. Great staff. Will go back

Good service and they got the job done quickly.

I ended up getting stranded about 100 miles from home with a flat tire and brought my car in to the shop in Alexandria to see if there was anything they could do to help. The manager was very understanding of my situation and while they did not have tires for me in store, he made phone calls around for about 20 minutes and found a set of tires I could have, had an employee pick them up, and got me home that night. While I was waiting, he recommended restaurants in the area and got me a phone charger so I could get my phone turned back on.Overall, prices were fair and quality of the work was good. However, it was the quality of the service that made a very stressful day a little bit less stressful and went a long way. Will be returning to this shop for future repairs.5/5

I needed four new tires for my car and couldn’t wait a day since I had to go on a last-minute road trip. I called over eight shops (including other Midas locations), and Jerry, the manager on Duke St, was the only one that said he could pick up the tires from the warehouse if I pay upfront so he wouldn’t waste his time which is fair. That’s excellent customer service and the reason he got a client for life.

These are the best - staff and mechanics. Needed my emissions testing done and it was very busy but as usual, they got it done in no time at all. Even gave me a coupon as I need to come back for other maintenance that will schedule.

I was referred to this particular Midas because the one near my house couldnt perform the wheel alignment because my car was loaded down and chassis was too low to read across from one side to the other -- this Midas had more sophisticated equipment and was able to work around that. They were professional and out to please me from the first phone call to finish. They fit me into a busy schedule, and the wait wasnt long. They know what theyre doing, from service to customer interaction. FIVE stars!

Went here last month to get new brake pads and rotors, and let me just say WOW, this place is great! Jerry, the manager, was so nice and professional, and extremely helpful in pointing me to the right parts that I needed for my car before taking a long drive out of town. I had a lot of questions but he didnt seem to mind, he was happy to answer my questions and made sure I had the best quality parts that would last longer in the long run. The wait time was also much shorter than expected, and I got a coupon for a discounted oil change on my next visit, which made it even better. I will definitely be back soon!

I was getting a tire pressure alarm and brought my vehicle in on a Monday morning without an appointment. The staff was friendly, and took care of my vehicle right away! Once they checked the tire, they didn’t find anything wrong and adjusted the pressure on all 4 tires. They didn’t charge me a thing! I found them friendly and honest and I would recommend this Midas. Happy to go back here anytime.

Very professional. Jerry, the manager was very helpful. He explained that my tire was damaged beyond repair. He had pics of the tire damage. He then located a matching tire for me and had it delivered to the location. The entire process was 2.5 hours.

Got the job done. Not cheap. Because it is a chain, you also dont get the Family business experience you might elsewhere.

My alternator went out on my way into work at 9am so i just happened to pull into this Midas as i was passing by. I told Jerry i think i need a new battery and he mentioned it may be the alternator. They got me right in, diagnosed, and priced up for repair within 15 minutes. They had my alternator replaced by 12 noon that day. Jerry was very professional and communicative. I appreciate their prompt and professional service. I would definitely go back.

I’ve been taking my car to this Midas since the service contract expired on my car. Jerry is great! I never feel like I’m being conned for work I don’t need. He and the other attendant I’ve dealt with calmly and patiently answer my questions and they explain why they need to do what they’re doing.

I have lived in this area for years and bounced around to a bunch of different auto mechanics. I always felt like I was paying too much for fixes I might not really need. Now that Ive found Jerry and Midas, that is no longer the case. They are transparent and honest about must-dos vs. probably-should-but-dont-have-to-dos. And Im no expert, but their prices seem fair, based on my experience elsewhere and internet research. You can trust them. Clearly other people feel the same way, as is evident in the other reviews and the fact that business always seems to booming whenever you go there.

I normally take my car to the dealer for my oil change and I payed more and it took hours for them to even get to my car even tho I had an appointment. At Midas they took my car promptly and I was out of there within 30 minutes. And I saved money$Thanks Midas!!!

How could I not review this location. Best service I have received in a very long time. The front desk and mechanic acted promptly to assist me in an emergency situation. I was travelling to a family funeral when my muffler started making noise I called, arrived at 9 am and was back on the roa0. Excellent service and I made it on time!

As someone who is not car savvy, Midas has been a godsend. I went to other auto repair places locally that would overcharge me for everything. No more. Midas is always clear with me about what needs work, what is urgent, and what I could put off if I dont want to put the money in for it now. I can usually get in the same day or the next. Jerry is friendly and doesnt seem to mind explaining things to me when its beyond the scope of my limited car knowledge. I trust them to take care of me and give a good price every time. They will also let you know about deals and coupons and you can check the Midas website for other coupons. 100% recommend.

It’s my 3rd time going there and they always give me a good experience. I like how they send the link to my phone for the inspection with the links of how everything looks. They never pressure me to try to take care of anything that I didn’t go there for that needs to be done, and always tell me when I’m ready to get it done, to bring it back. He always puts the breakdown/estimate of what the future maintenance I need on the back of my device sheets which prepares me for when I go back and need to take care of the needs.

This was the friendliest Midas I have ever gone to. I was in the city and needed an oil change before heading back south Virginia. I Googled Midas and this location was the closest to where i was. I asked what was the earliest appointment the guy told me i could come now and so i did. The location was clean, the service was fast and friendly. I use Midas here in Southern Virginia and I had even consider never going back. But after this experience My next oil change i will travel the 60 miles just to get their service.

Ive always felt that Jerry, the manager who answers the phone alwayd is very professional and really cares that the customer leaves satisfied. Hes very knowledgeable and goes the extra mile for the customer. I think the value is excellent and prices are very reasonable. They are about 1/2 to 1/3 of the prices that the Toyota place gives me estimates for. I have never felt bombarded with extra charges by Midas for work that needs to be done now that they had my car in the shop. I have recommended Midas to others who have gone there and have been very satisfied and I will continue to recommend Midas. You are one of the few businesses that I am a repeat customer to. : )

Our family has been using the automobile services at Midas Alexandria since 1989. They have provides excellent services at fair prices on all the makes and models of cars our family members have owned over the years. They have provided to us brakes, batteries, emissions inspections, tires, tire rotations, oil changes, and excellent diagnostic skills to locate and repair a single wire in a 2004 mini van which caused the “check engine” light to remain on. They are excellent about calling and telling us the issue with the car, what will cost to repair it, and how long it will take them. They do not proceed with any work without owner’s consent. They have provided excellent service to our family and we recommend this auto service provider highly.

Came here to get work done on a vehicle last minute and they practically had me in and out, were very friendly, reasonably priced for the job that needed to be done.

I don’t usually post much but they sent me a text asking about my experience and I feel like it’s due for them. I’m big on customer service but honestly I don’t expect it nowadays. I was in a big bind where both front tires were riding on mostly worn out treads exposing some metal threadlike material. Could feel it when I drove. It was bad, real bad let’s say that. I stopped in on lunch break just to see and guy was flat out great. Got me in and out. Even met mechanic and they showed me some things on car that was needed and gave it to me straight no bs. Also gave good deal so moving forward I got a new place for my car if or when I need it. Much appreciation and much respect to those guys. They came through for me and went above and beyond and in a really big way and I appreciate them.

Place can be very busy on the weekends so plan on getting there early. I noticed many returning customers bring their cars in, which is always a good sign.
