I want to preface this review by saying the actual explanations and communication I was given here were pretty good. I thought they were honest with what they knew and communicated what they could. My issue here is that the work they was performed did not actually solve the issue, nor was what I paid worth the value of what I received.I brought my 2013 Porsche Cayenne S in to have a diagnosis done on a Chassis System Fault/Failure for my air suspension. I provided what informed I could, as this has been a longstanding issue for my car. They were able to identify that the system had not been recharged and they filled it with Nitrogen. However, when I went to pick it up, the shop admitted that the fault light had returned and they would need to do further diagnosis on the compressor. Even worse, the Chassis System Failure light return only after 10 minutes of driving.I understand these suspension issues can be tricky. But I paid $300 essentially for a Nitrogen fill and scanning of the car, with the main issue(s) not yet at all resolved, or even fully diagnosed. This is very disappointed and I would hope that I couldve been provided a more thorough service, as the communication itself was overall pretty good.UPDATE 10/14: My car has returned to the original level before it was taken to this shop. I essentially paid $300 for nothing at this point, so I have remove 1 star from my review.

They worked on my Buick Enclave, the suspension was making squeaking noise. The mechanic, Mr. Shah, found no problems, but greased the joints. I received an honest and professional service.

Couldnt be happier with IAS and their work on my 1998 Land Rover Discovery. They caught a brake line problem that another shop missed as well as came up with a good solution for adjusting my wheel bearings which saved me a wholesale replacement. Prices were fair and they got the work done very quickly despite it not being a particularly easy job. I will definitely be bringing my old truck here moving forward, they did a good service on our Mini Cooper as well in the past.

I stumbled across Import Auto Service a few years back when I was looking for a second opinion on some major work my car needed. These guys are professional and explain what repairs are needed and why. The always answer my questions honestly and dont upsell on repairs that arent necessary which I something I truly value. Plus, their prices are very fair. My car has been serviced by them many times over the last few years and my experience every time has been excellent. I have to say I am TOTALLY impressed with the service I received. I was traveling through Washington DC when My vehicle started overheating on I-95. Panicked, I looked for the nearest Mechanic. I got off the highway at a local gas station and low and behold they had a mechanic on duty. They quickly diagnosed that it was NOT the radiator but just a sending unit. A quick order from the parts store and about a hour later we were back on the road good as new. Their prices were extremely reasonable and I felt confident with their work. They were sooooooo kind and professional and I feel blessed to have found them

These guys know European Autos. I found them using the Open Bay app. If I hadnt used it, Im not sure I would have found them otherwise. I needed an oil change for my Audi, and the dealer didnt have any openings for almost 45 days! I needed someone who worked exclusively on German or European automobiles and these guys fit the bill. All the other patrons I met there were there for service on their Mercedes, BMW, Audi or Volkswagen. Some had been loyal customers for some time. Based on my experience, I will be back.

I just wanted to check my brakes, I was looking for a nearby auto service. I just found Import Auto Service with good reviews. I deiced to give it a shot. They are really very honest they dont just wanna sell you anything . they checked my brakes for free and told me there is no need to change the pads right now they still have at least another 5000 miles. Thank you for being honest.

I dropped my car off several times for oil changes, car inspections, and tire plugs. They were easy to deal with and explained what was needed with my car and how much it would cost. Sometimes they wouldnt call to let me know my car was finished so I had to call them to get an update. Otherwise, no complaints!

In addition to servicing my vehicles, they have been very accommodating when Ive had issues at the last minute and taken my car with short notice. Also, when I need the annual inspection and emissions test; it has been very convenient to have that taken care of while having other issues addressed. My 2013 535 BMW was limping home on 395 and I managed to break down for good right at this location and was waiting for a tow truck to take me down the road to the BMW dealership. When I saw that this was a foreign auto shop, I went inside and the mechanic Raju was there and he went out to my car and troubleshot the issue (felt it was a water pump and he was right on). I normally get BMW to handle all my maintenance but I took a shot with these guys and they have been super responsive, their price is almost HALF of what BMW was going to charge me from a quote I got over the phone, and they use genuine OEM parts with a great warranty. Im going to permanently go to these guys for all of my mechanical needs and I think they deserve all the 5 star reviews theyve gotten. If you have an old Volvo (240, 740, 940), this is the only place in town to get it serviced. They are Volvo whisperers. I had several persistent issues with my old 940 wagon that my long-time mechanic, who I will not name, just could not seem to fix. These guys took care of them the first time.
