Stone Room is one of very few completely curated gem and mineral shops that totally knows what its selling. So many shops today throw things on their shelves with no knowledge of the specimen or its locality. Time flies when you visit this shop because its such an immersive and enjoyable experience. I visited Stone Room couple weeks ago and I could have practically spent the whole day there. There are so many interesting rock and stone pieces and lot of variety and selections. I wish I could buy them all. The environment is so welcoming and peaceful. I called the owner back few weeks later and enquired about one particular rock that I was interested in. Tashi was so knowledgeable and patient. He explained to me the nature and property of the rock. I can tell he has been in this business for a long time. He is very honest and also gave me some background of his believe and practice that led him to this business. I will go back and visit whenever I have the opportunity. This is definitely a place to shop for gifts or even something for yourself. I highly recommend this place.

Me and my daughter were in there about a week ago, and we had one of the best experiences that we’ve ever had in any crystal store. This is by far the best gem and crystal shop I have visited. The owners, Tashi la and Tenzin la, are warm and welcoming, knowledgeable of the stones and their unique benefits, and helpful—and not in any way intrusive. Ask to see anything, they like to help you, or you can stand in any one spot in the shop and just enjoy looking around in every direction, up and down, at the huge variety of beautiful, high quality gemstones and crystals! The shop itself has a soft, serene, yet buoyant atmosphere. If you like they can make a bracelet or necklace for you on the spot. Their prices are reasonable, and they have a full range quality to offer.

The owner Tenzin and his friend and employee Kensyee were so kind and helpful to me after my Uncle passed. They sent hours helping my mom and I identify and price my Uncles’ collection. While doing so they shared the friendship they had with my Uncle and stories of time they spent together and the love they had for him.. It meant the world to me. I am forever in debt for their kind words and actions. Thank you so much.

It was my first time at crystal shop, and honestly I felt so peaceful when I walked in, their wide variety of crystals is amazing and the prices are reasonable, I only bought 3 items, 2 bracelets and 1 crystal, the ladies there are so kind and helpful and Im %100 going back to purchase more in the future, thank you for the amazing experience

The owners are so so nice. I was given a nice free crystal along with the ones I bought and since It was my first time ever really buying crystals the lady there told me about the ones I was interested in. I had such a good experience. The prices are also really nice so I loved being able to browse. I recommend everybody visit the store.

My husband and I recently started exploring the world of crystals and stones. We visited the Stone Room and Tenzin was so kind and knowledgeable about the various types of stones and crystals. We spent a lot of time browsing through the wide selection this little shop has and left happy with beautiful raw citrine, pyrite, shungite, labradorite and fluorite. We look forward to coming back here again!

Good selection great staff

My husband and I are new stones&crystals lovers. We went to the store 2 days ago. We spent time quite long within the store selecting the right stones. Tenzen was very nice and informative. There was a variety of stones and crystals, included the rare one like Larimar. My husband got fews beads strands (dark red Garnet, blue Tigers Eye, Jasper, Banded Agate) and one beautiful tunbled Amethyst. I got tumbled stones, (Angelite, Carnelian, Lapis Lazuri, Malachite, Moonstone), small raw Peridot, and Rose Quartz wand. When we check out, Tenzen also gave us a shiny Selenite as a gift. Definitely a hile in the wall! Highly recommended.

Dear Fellow Humans: If you ever find yourself anywhere near Solano Ave. in Berkeley, CA and you appreciate beautiful rocks, crystals, minerals, etc., do yourself a favor and visit this store. They have the most extensive, stunning collection Ive seen anywhere outside of a museum. on top of that, the people that run the store are truly lovely and will make you feel welcome.

I liked the Stone Room, when I entered the energy was very positive. The worker is well acknowledge what the purpose of these crystals. I bought couple of crystal for negative energies repeal. I would come back and buy more crystals for better energies and well beings. Expect to be spending over 50 dollars and up, its worth it

I love this shop! So many amazing stones, gems, crystals and minerals, and such a massive variety packed perfectly into such a small space. The woman who owns it is a true gem herself (as is her delightful tiny shop dog) and is so patient and kind to me and all the other stone lovers who just want to geek out over rocks with her all day. Shes created a lovely sacred space that always lifts my spirits the moment I walk in.

I absolutely love this crystal shop! The owners are so genuine and sweet and the prices are reasonable. I have purchased many stones, crystals and even pendulums from this shop in Albany and it’s very close to me in El Cerrito! They now have another shop in Berkeley too!

This store is awesome. Several weeks ago I bought a set of runes. At the time I didnt live in Berkeley but actually lived in the City. When I got home I found out that three of the runes were missing and three of them were doubles. So today I went back and talked to the owner and she was kind enough to allow me to get the proper runes even though it has been several weeks since I purchased them and had no receipt. The owners are very helpful the store is very beautiful and all the stones and crystals in there are gorgeous. I highly suggest coming here.
