Very poor service. None of the employees know what they are doing or have any customer service skills. Billing and delivery is always a complete mess.

My experience with Cortez Gas, went there two times in two weeks both times sat there for 10 to 15 min. had to go inside and ask if could get some propane, Im the only there, the attendance where just talking, went inside to pay which was two much and very, very unfriendly attendance couldnt even say thank you sir!! Ill never go back there again !! If they work me they would be FIRED !!!! Thank You Cortez Gas.

They do not return phone calls. VERY unwilling to work with current customers. The corporate office will not help. Dont bother with this company go somewhere else. WORSE PROPANE COMPANY EVER!!!

I filled two 30lb bottles at Cortez, and again about two weeks later; all this just over one month ago.. The price went from about 46 bucks then up to 49 bucks and the second fill was only 13lbs! I asked when propane costs went. “oh about a month ago” . Then I went to Mountain Propane down the road for the next fill ~ $33 for two FULL tanks. I’ve been overcharge in the past by Cortez. I dont go there anymore; only Mountain Propane.

We travel here to Alamogordo often. We usually stop here to fill propane tank on our Motorhome. Too bad they DONT do delivery.

Cortez gas has server Alamogordo Tularosa, Cloudcroft, Ruidoso and the Tularosa basin for many years.They are family owned and friendly people. Their service has always been above reproach.I have been getting all my RV and Gas grill tanks filled here for over 22 years and have been happy with their service and product provided for every visit I have made.If you need a home delivery for a mobile home or a remote located cabin, they are the ones to call first. You can also have a regular scheduled delivery scheduled with them as you need with their assistance over the phone or in person.Try em out.
