Dr. Mark Chung Sold His practice to Total Vision LLC and not run with the level of care it used to be. :(The Level of service has gone down and now they are pushing sales and not professional service. Felt very rushed and just a number. Even my brother commented on how Dr. Chung is checked out.$250 for contact lens fitting is ridiculous. Looks like I am not the only one to feel this way.Bernice my favorite is no longer at the Practice. Sad!I am now looking for a new Optometrist

Meh. Hole in the wall feel with older equipment and limited frame selection. Not the warmest of people and harsh return policy. You have prescription glasses made, you have bought them and cannot return them.

I’ve been going to Dr. Chung for 5 years and absolutely love him. He’s attentive and lovely to talk to. Every time I go in for a check up he’s finding contacts that are more comfortable and allow more oxygen flow. He’s also very aware of what insurance will cover and finds ways to maximize it. He saw me when I was pregnant and eased my mind that prescriptions do change sometimes during pregnancy. He’s also very fast with appointments so you are in and out quickly.

Dr. Chung is a fantastic doctor. He seems truly invested in the eye health of his patients. I have been a patient of Dr. Chungs for nearly 8 years. My eyes are considerably healthier -- they are less prone to redness, get more oxygen, and my prescription has been very stable. I credit him for this improvement because other doctors were reluctant to re-fit me for contact lenses. The type of lens I was using was antiquated, and not the best product available for my eyes. Dr. Chung made easy-to-implement recommendations like switching out my cleaning and storage solutions to preservative-free ones. He got me on better lenses, and in the last year I was able to switch to daily disposables -- which have been much, much better. Hes thorough, respectful of your time, and very personable. His staff is knowledgeable, and Ive never seen a better selection of eyeglass frames. Ive really loved every pair of glasses Ive ordered there. This is a really excellent practice -- I trust Dr. Chung and I trust his staff. Theyre wonderful.

I like Dr. Chung, but respectfully speaking, I thought the “fitting” charge was a little ridiculous. It’s the exact same contacts I’ve been wearing for the past two years. What fitting? I guess for giving me 5 contacts? If I had known, I would’ve brought a replacement pair from home, or just put the same lenses I took off back.

I work for a major eyewear retailer, and I know there are other, digital/technical ways to have your vision tested. However, there is no substitute for the complete eye care you get from a caring and expert professional like Dr. Chung. The staff in the office is knowledgeable and helpful. They also have a great assortment of the latest frames from the top brands.

Been visiting with Mark for 4 years now. Couldnt be happier. Always has the newest contact technology, and the experience and expertise to match. Gets my vote for LAs best optometrist!

This was one of the most pleasant Dr. experiences of my life. Dr. Chung was both caring and sensitive in his approach. Sometimes when you visit a Dr. you feel like they are there to do an exam and take your money. This wasnt the case here. A great experience and would recommend to anyone in Los Angeles. Dr. Chung is so professional and knowledgeable. I moved from Los Angeles for a while and tried many different optometrists. I was never happy and they all tried to upcharge me with additional tests. I just moved back to L.A. and Dr. Chung was one of my first stops. Hes one of the best optometrists Ive ever seen.
