Felt strongly agitated against Nissan of Salem; W/ the way management handled employees. After being admitted into the hospital for a couple nights..due to catching covid..only to be forced into quarantine an fired instantly within the same exact 24hrs at no cause? Even after I had called in several times where the managers refused to take my calls. Been looking into legal options since the incident occured.

I bought a car at their tent event. After one day I found multiple problems. Took it back. They would not take the car back. They said that they would fix them all. They sent the car up to Salem to have it fixed. They gave me a loaner car. The tent people are gone. I still do not have the car. I called Nissan of Salem, spoke to someone in the service department who said they had no idea of any repair work being done on the car, but that the car was there. After a little bit more checking he found that there was a whole laundry list of things to be fixed on the car. I have not heard back since. Its been 10 days. I bought this car and I dont have the car. I will never buy another through any of these promotion events again.Car has now been there eleven days, just spoke to a service person who says not a thing has been done on the non-recall issues. Parts have been ordered for the recall items. Found out from the service man that the salesman just handed him a sticky note that the car needed work yesterday, Nov 2, after the car has been there ten days. I Got a response to my post from the owner asking what he can do to make it right, but can find no way to respond to this post. My only option is to edit my post. If owner wants to contact me, Nissan of Salem has my phone number. I truly feel I have been misled, lied to, and swindled. I am a 64 year old single woman living on a meager pension. I guess they saw me coming. Buyer beware!!!

My brother sent me here after having an awesome experience the other day buying a car with their salesman, Austin, and man, was I not disappointed. The quality of support I received from Damon in sales and George in financing was next level. Austin too, recognized my husband who was with my brother during his sale, and checked in several times to make sure we were well taken care of. The entire experience was easy, and over all relieving. I can’t suggest this place, and these particular employees more! Just stop by, they will take care of you.

Eric met me outside and registered my car for servicing while maintaining a reasonable distance. He came outside almost immediately after I pulled into the service center area. Eric also noticed the coupon that I had forgotten to give him and reminded me so I would receive the discount. Eric also answered my questions about the recall notice on my car. I was sent frequent notifications about the status of my car by text and email.There was the option available to have my car picked up and delivered free of charge. I appreciated having this service available, but chose not to use it this time.The waiting area was clean and comfortable. Seating was adequately distanced for safety. I was told when my car was ready and was able to safely review the results and pay for the service quickly.All service staff members were courteous, professional, and friendly. There may be places where I can receive the same service for a lower price, but the trust I have in Salem Nissan cannot be easily replaced.

3 hours. It takes them 3 hours to change your oil. There are 4 other people here who have also been waiting 3 hours. Why? I can change my oil in less then an hour. Gonna remove my warranty. Its not worth it. Also god forbid yall refinance someone. They refused to refinance me saying they dont do that here. Thats BULL, I used to work here. Yall just wanna be lazy and rude. Worst customer service

I cannot Rave about how friendly and courteous and thorough this dealership was with my service and I didnt even buy my vehicle from them. The cherry on top is that their system for advising what needs to be completed on your vehicle for service is absolutely amazing and super easy and they actually have a live check in to see what status your vehicle is in. Everything about this place is top-notch. Would highly recommend!

Received an email offering 67000 service. It was a good price and it included tire rotation. I had a good experience on my last visit, so popped by even though I knew it would take an hour. I would normally have used Valvoline as they are quick. I am pleased with the though inspection I receive with the oil change. I This visit I booked another service call to correct the leaking valve that they discovered.

When we came in we were told it would take up to an hour and a half for an oil change. It ended up taking two and a half hours. I handed them my coupon for this service for $29.95. When it was completed they charged me $50.00 dollars. They said we put in synthetic oil. I was never asked about doing this. At the beginning I was also asked if I wanted a car wash? I told them yes! So at the end I was told it would be another 15 minutes as they are getting it over for a car wash. Finally went out to pick up my car. It most certainly was never taken over for a car wash. I left feeling the entire experience was not good. I had even inquired about tires, they gave me a quote, Im not sure I want to trust them with this. So im also looking elsewhere. My advice be careful what they tell you, and what they actually end up doing. Could be two entirely different things.

I brought my Rogue in for an oil change and while there were manufacturer recommendations they suggested based on the mileage and age of my car, I did not feel pressured into a sale.After they did their inspection, they did show me that the engine air filter needed to be replaced. They showed me picture proof of how bad it was (I should have, but did not change the filter after all the horrible fires we had last year). They replaced it at what I felt was a reasonable price.

The Service Department is fast and they can usually squeeze you in...The Nissan brand is a really good car...my Nissan Sentra SE, gray body with a sleek black top, looks better than other high end cars! I was at Nissan of Salem for an oil change. I was greeted very nicely, shown where I could wait while the service was performed and updated on the progress. They washed my car for me and topped off my windshield washer fluid as well. The best part was they never tried to up-sell anything. And the price was very competitive. The customer service from the moment I walked in to the moment I left was everything it should have been and then some.

Just your normal used car lot, not recommended. Rude and condescending towards the end of the deal. Disrespectful and liars for not returning calls. The salesperson Johnathon was great, sales manager and others not so much. Sales manager said he would accept a posted dated check but cashed it 29 days early putting me in a very tough spot. I called on two occasions each time I was told they were in a ‘meeting’ and would return my call by end of day, which they did not. Just a regular used car lot. Wish I had left and bought elsewhere

I dont even have a Nissan. I have a Jeep. I needed help on a Saturday and the Jeep dealership was closed, so I thought Id try the Nissan dealership instead. They were able to accommodate me without a reservation and fixed my problem. It costed more than I had hoped, but they did fix my problem the same day. It was something I definitely couldnt have done myself and Walmart wouldnt even try, so Nissan definitely provided above average service.

You’re looking for a good reliable vehicle ? Well let me save you time and tell you, avoid this place. They’re unprofessional, shady and be lying straight up. I was sold a vehicle by them that broke down not even 3 days after purchase.I went back to show & speak to them about the issue with the car right. As soon as I’m in there asking for management, I see the sales person and the person that helped me sign the papers on the vehicle & they immediately say “I’ve never seen this guy before.” Trying to cover they own person. They tell me that the vehicle was never looked at before selling it to me so they couldn’t have known about the mechanical issue. Which makes no sense cause how are you going to be a “major” dealership and not be checking your vehicles before selling/scamming people.The manager or whatever offered me a different vehicle in exchange but I told him I was taking my business elsewhere & to please just write me a check or return my deposit. They agreed to return my money but not before making me wait a week and a half to get back to me because they were “too busy” to write me a check.

The people at Nissan Salem saved our trip.The air conditioner’s main part failed. After the detailed diagnostic the part was ordered, delivered and installed by the Nissan technicians in a few hours. They even drove us to the restaurant of our choice and picked us when we finished. My wife and I bought a brand new 2020 Nissan Pathfinder in January, 2021. I didn’t mind the buying experience but my first service appointment was awful. At the time of purchase, I added a prepaid service plan that covers certain services depending on the mileage of the vehicle. I presented my prepaid plan to the service tech and he acted as if it was not valid. He said it was through a third party and he would need to call to verify it. I then took the plan to the sales manager’s office and he confirmed it was not through a third party, it’s provided by Nissan and matches the content from the website. I prepaid $1,980 for basic services and inspections, therefore I should not have been given a hard time about it. I could do these services on my own for a fraction of the cost, but it’s my wife’s vehicle and for warranty purposes I decided to just add it. In addition, I work out of town and wanted to make it easy for my wife to get it serviced if I wasn’t available. They also washed the vehicle which consisted of smearing the dirt around, leaving swirl marks on the tail lights and small scratches on the door handles. There were unwashed spots on the vehicle and the roof was not washed at all, left with a layer of dirt on it. I wish they didn’t wash it considering it’s a brand new vehicle in mint condition. When I got home, I lifted up the hood to see if they topped off fluids and they did not. The windshield washer fluid was almost empty below the minimum level. What if this was an elderly woman’s car? I take my work service vehicle to Oil Can Henry’s and they always top off my fluids even though I only pay for a basic oil change because that’s the type of service they provide. When I pay $1,980 I expect better from Nissan. I will take the vehicle to Nissan of Corvallis for the next service appointment and hopefully I get better service.

I had the best car buying experience at Nissan of Salem! The salesperson, Hailey Bustos, was excellent! She was very knowledgeable about the cars and models. I had severalcars I wanted to test drive but ended up buying a Murano without going to another car dealership! I believe I got a very fair price on the new car. I always sell my cars without trading them in but was offered such a good trade in deal I made the purchase!The manager was also great to deal with. He was forthright and gave me bottom lines without having too much to negotiate.I would recommend Nissan of Salem to any of my friends or family! Ask for Hailey she is great!Ellen

Nelson is such a great guy I talked to him when I had a 2018 Nissan rouge. I spoke with him about my rouge and how much I liked it why I liked and more. In the end he end up buy a 2021 rouge days after chatting with me.I ended up calling him on a Thursday being very demanding and very pushy about needing a blue 2021 new Nissan rouge by Sunday this poor man ran around for two day’s and argued his way into find me exactly what I wanted and the payment I needed thank you also a shoot out to Halley who did all the paperwork thank you all for staying late and making it happen

I went in for some warranty work. Marshall greeted me and we got to work. Found out what was wrong, and he gave me a quote, since the part was out of warranty. I told him I had purchased the extended warranty. I needed proof of that before they could continue. I didnt know they were no longer Power Nissan, and didnt have that information in their system. I was looking at a $2300 repair. Marshall made it his mission to take care of me. He found out the warranty companys name, called them, and established that I had coverage. Theyve ordered the parts and also a part for a recall. I thanked Marshall for his over-and-above service, he looked at me, smiled and said thats my job.While I was in the waiting room, a well-dressed man was going up to each employee to chat and check on them. Because my car has not been driven as much as it has in the past, I had the service done to keep my Rogue running smoothly. Marshall was pleasant to work with. Made an appointment at 915am work was finished at 1045. Was told by staff person that an appointment is only to let the service department know I would be there and I would be in line with everyone else on a first come first served basis. I will not be returning unless I have no other choice.Follow up:Shortly after posting my review I received a call from service manager Eric who explained that the appointment experience I had is not their intended experience. Eric also stated he intended to address the issue with the service staff member I worked with.I was offered a free oil change / car wash which is a nice gesture but is only a gesture. If the need arises again I will be giving nissan of salem a second chance.

Im nothing but impressed about the quality of Nissan vehicles and the perfect people who have provided information before you make an important decision. The maintenance is always available and does impressive service. In Salem, Oregon both Hailey Bustos and Farrah Miranda are some of the best people I have ever met. In their Sales Rep and Financing positionsthey are absolutely wonderful.The gentlemen in maintenence deserve a round of applause also. Not the greatest experience of being a first time car buyer for instance buying a car that was full of a cigarette smell especially promise things that I didn’t receive as well going to get the car detail and it’s not detail properly where I can get a Clorox wipe and clean the dirt off better than they did and they scratching up my car next time verify officially if you can really commit to those promise and don’t waste peoples time for something they’re not receiving

I called and asked if I needed to make an appointment and was told I could come in anytime from open to six, I was told to come in that day. I got there at approximately 5PM and was told by a very grumpy red haired gentleman that they stop taking oil changes at 5 and he just blankly stared at me. I explained that I had just called and was told to come and he continued to blankly stare at me. So after about 30 seconds of uncomfortably looking into each others eyes, I asked if I could make an appointment. He was lack luster in doing that even. Very rude. However, I came in the next day and was treated pretty well. It took a lot longer than anticipated but they did a good job and washed my car as well. If it werent for the rude red haired dude in the service department there would be more stars.

I never buy new, and never recommend it to anyone. My Titan was nothing but a nightmare trying to use it like ive used other half tons. Only reason I bought it was because I was so impressed with my 01 nissan frontier. Its clear Nissan lost its way on nissan titans and frontiers 04 and on. Although, no vehicle, regardless of manufacturing, Ive seen has really impressed anyone for longevity after 08. Its an industry wide problem. This dealership’s service department conducted them exactly how expected and the online system is really convenient. Need to bring that up to my Chevrolet dealer. They could learn something.

Although I was there for 5 hours, I found out that my car was in need of some major TLC. I. live in Lincoln City, so it was quite a drive to get there! Eric Lindemann was my service writer and he was amazing. He would come and give me updates and explained everything to me! They were great as usual. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. They did the oil change and said I didn’t need a rotation. Which I was surprised because that was an extra charge and they were honest and said no. They even washed my car. I went in to by a rav 4 that they had in stock but supposedly the best deal they had for me was a 2014 honda crv. Come to find out its worth 10 thousand less than what I paid for it they got a low rate but at this point I might as well be paying 29 percent finance when I went to test drive it no gas in take so didnt get a good test drive come to find out tires are loud and vehicle was for mom so she could have something with all wheel drive now she has to listen noise they also ran my credit score many times that my score went from 680 to now 590. I took it to less schaub for the noise they said it was something with the rear hub than took it back to dealership they said nothing was wrong I will get a third opinion and go from there I have never bought a used vehicle and watch it loose 10 to 15 thousand in one month I believed they rushed me through the process because it wasnt worth 30 thousand to began with I havent paid my first payment yet but I will say good customer service and friendly but not enough for repeat customer a lawyer just informed this dealership is the one of the worst dealerships in the state of Oregon if your thinking to but consider some where else

I got home from a long day at work and my car wouldn’t turn off... yup. Wouldn’t turn off! It was 6:02pm when I called and the service area had just closed. I was super stressed and having a horrible night. They called me back not even five minutes later and told me to drive in. They stayed open for me and took me in. I was super broke and had been out of work since last March due to covid, but I had just started a new job and was going to get paid within a week of my car going in. I couldn’t even afford the rental fee which was only like $30. I had maybe $8 in my account. Someone there paid the fee or waived it, I’m not sure but made sure I was taken care of and had a rental car to get to my new job! I was walking out when one of the guys saw me get in the rental, I was crying as I was walking away being so thankful for such kind service! He came out to me and slipped me $40 and told me that he had been where I was at one point and that it would get better. I cried the whole way home and told my husband. My husband and I were so touched and blessed to have been affected by this man. Thank you Nissan of Salem! You all are amazing and I’m so appreciative for all of you, but especially the few who helped me on a really rough night. Thank you!(I’m not mentioning names as I don’t want them to be expected of this every day of their careers. But it’s a unique story and y’all know who you are ❤️)

I had a great experience! I brought my truck in with what I thought was a minor problem... no heat. It turned out to be major repair which took several weeks to repair. Eric not only helped me access my warranty, he arranged for a loaner car and did regular check ins with me to keep me up to date. I drove 4 hours from Seattle to here for a 18 Q50 Redsport that Ive been looking for months. Beautiful location and very clean dealership. Bob Lacey was very patient and helpful. He took us out to a magnificent curvy back road for a test drive. He did 2 more follow up calls to make sure we got back to Seattle safely and no speeding ticket. I wanted to keep my Continental tires (on my trade in) and the manager agreed to swap them out without extra charge.

I came into Nissan of Salem with a used Murano that needed a new transmission and was going to put me upside down on a used car I bought just 18 months before. To say the least, I was not a happy camper. Nissan of Salem turned that around, got me out from under the used Murano at no cost to me and into a new 2021 Altima which was a fantastic deal. I give these folks my highest rating with absolutely no reservations!

We a thrilled with Monte Riddle from Nissan dealership in Salem, he found exactly what we were looking for a 2016 Frontier pick up with a V6: king cab, with only 40,000 miles. Monte was the best salesman ever!!!!!!! Today is my sons 20th birthday. Nick wanted to finance his first car. Nick saw the car he wanted online so we headed down. Monte worked hard to make it happen for my son. More then happy with the whole crew. from Monte to the Finance Manager. My son got the financing needed and drove home in his new car. Not a good experience. 4 visits to service dept. for recall notice. First time they said they have the parts. Made the appt. and went in but they had no parts too do the job. 2nd time was appt. set by power nisson. Was told parts were there. They were not so the service manager tried to cover his screw up by telling me they needed to access the car to see what parts they needed to order. This was a recall so they knew exactly what parts were needed. 3rd appt. I was assured the parts were there. When I got there they said they were going to start on it immediately and would be done in 1 1/2 to 2 hours.My spouse followed me in so went to breakfast. Returned to power nisson and was told almost done. When they checked to see how much longer it would be they came back and said the job had not been started yet. We went home and came back later in the day to pick up the car. That made it 4 round trips @34 miles each to their service dept. A bunch of B.S..

John was I good guy to deal with. He provide clear expectations and kept my up to date on tbe repairs that I was having his team do on my Rogue. Although he was unwilling to negotiate on lower costs to complete my repairs, he explained that they use only factory parts and that they would never use after market cheaper priced parts. Very personal guy.

A week after I got my truck from them in April 15th. 2021, they called to tell me there was more paperwork that the finance company wanted signed. I went back(I live an hour away) just to find out that I was lied to. They put me with a different finance company and I had to resign everything. Then a few weeks later I get a letter from my old finance company on my trade-in saying that my payment was now late. I had to deal with that and it is now showing on my credit as a bad mark. Now I find out that they didnt send in a form to the DMV on the milage, nor did they send it the form to transfer my plates from my trade-in to my new truck. My temp tag expires on 7-15-21, and I have no registration and I cant put my plates on until this is dealt with. Needless to say I will not do business with again nor will I recommend them.

The employee I felt with was warm and professional.I stopped by to have the regular oil change and new filter. Also, I decided to pay the extra to have my tires rotated and to have the rear window wiper replaced.The techs performed everything except the tire rotation. Now I remember why I stopped having my car service done there.This is the second time they charged me for a tire rotation but didnt do the work.Ill never go back.

Im torn answering all of these questions. The service department was AMAZING. Absolutely fantastic. However I entered the main building and as a high risk individual, was horrified to see that not only the employees (sales and office administration) inside the main building were not wearing masks, but neither were 90% of all of the customers waiting inside. I opted to wait outside in the rain and eventually called my significant other to pick me up as I can not expose myself to this virus. It is extremely disheartening as I had a great customer experience with the service department, but I can not return or recommend this dealership until the pandemic is over.I wish I could split my review by department. Again, the service department would all get high ratings. They were kind, explained the process, and made me feel at ease. The employees inside the main building and the managers allowing this blatant disregard for COVID-19 protocols, would not be the same story.
