Purchased my car here in May of 2020. Was sold an “extended warranty” and “service package.” Went to the dealership the day after I purchased my car and cancelled the extended warranty in writing, as I was told I could. Several months went by, and I still had not been reimbursed for the extended warranty. Had to call the extended warranty company and wait on hold for a very long time, only to be told they had no record of the cancellation. The dealership failed to forward the cancellation to the extended warranty company (probably on purpose I’ve realized after hearing of other’s stories). Thankfully I had a copy of my cancellation and forwarded it to the extended warranty company at that point, and finally, a couple months later, I was reimbursed.Around that same time, I went to the Honda dealership in Odessa to use my “service package” on my first oil change. Was told by Honda in Midland that the service package could be used at any Honda Dealership. Apparently that was not the case. I then cancelled my service contract, in writing, to the service contract company DIRECTLY (so the dealership wouldn’t “lose” the cancellation or “forget” to submit it). Fast forward to today, it has been over three months since I cancelled the service contract and I have not been reimbursed at all for the service package I had remaining (even though I never even got to use it). Called the service contract company and was told the cancellation went through over two months ago and the dealership is responsible for reimbursing me. Once again, the dealership has failed, whether purposely or as an oversight, to do their part. Have called at least four times today to speak with someone at the dealership as apparently they have been holding my reimbursement hostage, and have yet to receive a call back. Still hoping I get a call back at some point, but I will be sure to never purchase a vehicle through this dealership again, and I will warn everyone else I know to stay away from this dealership as well.8/24 Update: After posting my review, I finally received a call back from Don with the dealership today. Don was irate and told me that he did not appreciate the language I used with his sales person and he had the recording. In fact, I used absolutely no language with the sales associate. I was frustrated, as is expected when I had called numerous times and was still not given anyone to speak with, but I did not use foul language at all. I told Don the same, and asked him to go ahead and play the recording. Of course, Don had no recording because he was lying. He then became more frustrated and told me to never step foot in the dealership again because they dont need customers like me. I guess they do not want customers that want to be provided quality customer service and honesty. I wanted to note that Jeff did call me back late yesterday afternoon and told me that Don was out for the day. Jeff was very kind and listened to my situation and began working for a solution. I appreciate Jeff. I do not appreciate being threatened by someone with a recording of foul language I allegedly used with a sales person that does not exist, because I did not use foul language. Overall, the car buying experience was fine, but the post-buying customer service was absolutely horrible

Avoid this place. This dealership fits shady business profile. They advertise lowered price of the vehicle, but would not grant the price. Once you call them they will tell you that they have waxed the car, tinted windows (I was looking to purchase a van which actually comes with tinted windows…) and they did put some nitrogen into the tires for $2,000+. If you want strawberry flavor air in your tires, you would need to pay more :) When asked why it was not advertised with all so called accessories, they said that this is how every dealership works.I was able to purchase a van with a $2,000+ discount over advertised price and with no BS accessories… Find another dealer, avoid this place.

Friendly salesman, good benefits like service, not honest though.I shook hands and signed for a price and monthly payment amount, and after a couple weeks I get a letter saying my monthly payment would be 40 dollars a month more than I shook and signed for. I called and was offered no recourse. Will not buy from again, will not recommend.

Went in for a headlight restoration and left with a $1355.12 bill which they refuse to match. Will only apply $400 to their damages, Illl handle it.....stay away...incompetent group!As of today (11/116/2020) Dealer added comments to reflect a $400 payment for the correction to claybar my truck (which is abrasive by the way). I took my truck to an actual Honda Dealer in Tomball TX. They referred me to their body shop where I got the estimate of $1355.12 to restore my truck back to its original state. Im not trying to charge 4 times the amount to correct THEIR error, Im trying to get my truck back to the same condition it was in prior to taking it to Classic Honda with their poorly trained employees. Common sense would have been to raise the hood and mask the fenders and grill prior to spraying any type of chemical on or near a paint job. Im prepared to take this to court just for the pure disregard and lack of customer concern!

Sent me pics of every car I was interested in, I explained I had a 2 hour drive to get to them and that I had a movie date with my kiddos that night so they had all of the paperwork ready for me to sign and was out the door within 30 minutes!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I had an employee who’s daughter broke down on the way to see her husband in Midland TX. Let me just say I am an owner of a dealership in Louisiana. I put out a post on my Facebook page for help. These guys stepped up to help them. Called me immediately to discuss the opportunity and sprung into action. Needless to say they left VERY happy in their new Honda Pilot. Thank you to the team at Classic Honda for a great experience.

Car buying experience was ok until I got to the Finance Person. I was there from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. He proceded to tell me what I needed in the way of Service Contracts and such. He told me I didnt need Gap Insurance. He told me I needed Road Hazard for almost 800.00. He didnt go over the amounts of the contract. Tired and hungry, I signed the contract. (Im still kicking myself for doing that. Im smarter then that!). After reviewing the contract the next day I notice other items on there. Paintless Dent for 700.00. I had to google to find out what that was. I researched and found out I can cancel all these items. I go to his office and cancelled. He tells me he needs an email from me to cancel and tells me to call him the following Thursday to remind him to cancel these for me. I asked if the contract could be revised or would I get a refund and he never answered me. Come to find out the contract can be revised and a new contract can be sent to the bank, but they wont do this because theyll lose their commission for selling me all the stuff. I never heard from him with an answer. He couldnt explain what these service contracts covered. You would think they should know what their selling you. He gave me a Maintenance Brochure for an electric car. I didnt buy an electric car! Now the contract with about 4,000.00 extra is being finance by the bank with all that additional interest. IM AN OLDER FEMALE and HE SAW ME COMING. After I cancelled, his demeaner change. He wasnt so nice. I even had to ask him stop calling me and to only communicate with me by email. He was upset when I emailed him to remind him to cancel because I copied the General Manager and the Sales person who sold me the car. I couldnt even enjoy the experiences or the excitment of buying a new car. It must be practice to hire these dishonest people at a Car Dealership. I telling my story to whoever listens. 09/02/2021: Update, I finally received the refund for the service contracts Don the Con sold me after more than three months. I just read another review a customer left complaining about Don the finance guy. Oh and the response from the General Manager to call him to make things right is bull! I called him and left a message and he never called me back! I guess that was for the readers to seem like he cared.

They don’t even deserve one star!! I am very saddened by an experience today! I look up vehicles online and find they have a vehicle listed as sales price of $23,064. I was looking to help my son who is 21. My son goes to the dealership and is quoted $28,893.87.I then phone the dealership as I live in a different state and am quoted it is 22,964 plus $2,187 for dealer ads fees which makes it $25k and some change. Then I proceed to ask why they are trying to sell it to my son for $28,000.Mind you the MSRP on this vehicle is $23,600.I am not okay with any dealership taking advantage of young adults that are working hard to make a living! I understand it is a college town but take care of the college students—- don’t take advantage of them!!I tried to get contact information to contact the owner since the GM- Martin Villarreal claimed to be in charge and said that this is how they always sell vehicles and that the owner doesn’t live in midland. He refused to provide me contact information.I was really hoping that a responsible young adult would be treated equally as older adults. But today I learned that bad business practices exist and some people are out to take advantage of young adults. I am so glad that my son called me for advice and walked out without giving a dime to these crooks!!I have photos too and wish I could share them here but it won’t allow me too!****In response to Joel below, I would love to talk to you. And you are 100% incorrect at the paper that was given to my son is for MSRP of $27k and then with fees it was $28k. How can just justify selling a new 2020 for $5k over MSRP! That is 100% wrong and unethical! If this is how you run your business scamming people and taking advantage of college students then I hope you can sleep at night.As a parent, how will you feel one day with this happens to your children? Dropped off my 2017 Honda Odyssey for oil change and Alignment by 9:00 am .By 10:15 am I got a call from the service manager that my van was ready for pick up. Also they sent me an email outlining future maintenance strategies and other preventive checks to be done whenever I have the time.They are friendly, professional and happy to help.I love them and recommend them.

Gary Waller just sold me my first car and I’m so happy to say he made the whole process enjoyable. I was so nervous but he gave me a price (a great one, btw), he stuck to it the whole time (no hidden fees), didn’t push me to buy extras or upgrades. They were having a little trouble with the bank because of stuff on my end but they said they were going to take care of it and they did and were able to get me a great interest rate. The finance person (forgot to get his name) was quick and though he did show me warranty extras and upgrades, I never felt like he was being aggressive about getting me to buy one. I will recommend classic Honda to everyone looking for a new car.

Drove from Houston to Midland (8 hour drive) only to get there and the car not be ready. I set up an appointment ahead of time and gave the dealership more than enough time to get the car prepped and was heavily disappointed. Upon arrival the salesman told me that they were finishing up washing and waxing the car. Not a problem, I waited in the lobby for 2 hours, only to find out they were replacing the windshield (Replaced with a non OEM windshield) the car was filthy from the outside and inside, and there was a TON of scratches that were not listed in the pictures. The picture they had in their autotrader ad was definitely not the car they were trying to sell. Wish they would have been honest with me and just told me they sold it. Would have saved me 10 hours. I would buy with caution here.

Scheduled service for my 2017 Ridgeline on-line, but no prices were available to review before arriving at the dealer. I about had a heart attack when told the prices for service and immediately reduced to only an oil change and tire rotation which cost $83 (twice what anyone else charges). I received a call when the vehicle was at the shop telling me the cabin air filter and air filter were extremely dirty and needed to be replaced (They didnt as I just changed them last week). I asked how much and was informed $78 for both filters and I also needed a fuel system flush because I have 45,000 miles on the vehicle. I declined all these services. The service page states that each oil change and inspection will receive a courtesy wash of the vehicle, and this wasnt done and when I sat down in the vehicle when I picked it up there were black oil droplets all over the passenger leather seat. Instead of the full synthetic oil that is used on most Honda oil changes, mine was substituted for synthetic blend. I used to recommend Classic Honda of Midland for any service but after this experience will only recommend them to my worst enemies. I am taking my pickup to Lubbock tomorrow to have the transmission flush and differential service done as well as the proper oi change because when I checked the oil in the engine after arriving home, it had streaks of black oil in it (obviously they didnt completely drain the engine before adding new oil). I can get all of this work done in Lubbock for the same price that Classic wanted to charge just for the transmission flush. Very disappointed that the service department has fallen this low after being such a good place to take a vehicle for service.

Watch out for dishonesty in the used car sales team. Quoted me a price via email and once the manager sent the formal offer, mysteriously the quoted price is not on there. Then, they tell me that I have to finance through them to obtain the misquoted price. Be careful out there.

Service here a joke. I received my vehicle back after almost a month. A part was on back order. Fine. Only to find that the passenger side of my vehicle is covered in scratches. They are refusing to acknowledge the damage and they say they are not responsible. Jerry the service manager has the worst customer service skills imaginable. I went to look at a 98 cobra yall had on the lot and it was way overpriced, people have been buying nicer ones for a third the price all over, didnt even come with a warranty, and you didnt even know about the mods on it (it has aftermarket stereo, a borla exhaust, and a short throw shifter alongside something from Ford performance that I couldnt easily find, likely a rear gear, didnt test drive it so dont know, which would severely affect fuel economy and unless accounted for with another modification the speedometer will be off as well.) Get to know your cars that youre selling. but more importantly figure out your pricing because that car was only worth 15k with a warranty even including mods and the fact that its a convertible, no warranty itd be worth 12-13 even to a huge mustang fan like myself.

I sadly did not buy my daughters car here, but that didnt matter to Cecil and his team. They took care of me like I was family. I took it in early Saturday morning and before noon or close to it they had looked at it sent me a video and a quote. They had to order the part but by early Tuesday afternoon they had it fixed and ready to go. I dont particularly like to be the one to take care of car stuff because I dont want to get the run around. Here that was not an issue and I was so grateful! My car starter went out and I took it to Honda out in Odessa they try telling me my fly wheel was bad and told it it would be 2500 hundred dollars. Took it to these guys they told me it was the starter and put one on and it’s working great! For way cheaper and a lot less work then Honda of Odessa said.

Upon entering lot and finding the car I had researched I was approached by Tony Roldan. Tony introduced himself and asked what I was looking for in a vehicle and I explained that I had 2 boys entering into different stages in their lifes and that I wanted to provide them with good conditioned and reliable vehicles. I exclaimed my budget and vehicle preferences. He was able to provide fast and detailed information regarding several vehicles I inquired about. We were able to narrow down to 2 vehicles and were able to make a deal that same day. The team worked together to get me taken care of within a reasonable amount of time. Our family is very happy and will be a repeat customer for years to come.

We purchased this car through the internet site and seen and after a 6 hour drive from Albuquerque to Midland TX, Arnold Rodriguez greeted us like family and went above and beyond to make sure to show us the Nissan Rouge and explain all the features and that we had a good understanding. The rest of the staff at Classic Honda were also very friendly and helpful. They gave us such a good deal on our trade in and the Rouge. This dealership is to notch. I am a hard person to deal with when it comes to selling me a vehicle. But the sales team there were gracious and patient with me. I bounced from one vehicle to another and went back and forth and they never showed any frustration. The finance department was fun!, they made it quick and painless like I wasnt just a number. I have bought quite a few vehicles and the way I was treated there is how it is supposed to be, Im fairly new to the area and I had a dealership at the last area I lived in and I feel I have found my dealership here!

Our salesman Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable about the Honda vehicles, he was able to get my daughter in the car that she wanted. We shopped around the surrounding areas and none of the 5 dealerships from El Paso to Lubbock could get her in the car she wanted. Anthony K was very friendly and very thoughtful. My husband and I were at the dealership on Saturday from 9:30am until almost 5pm and he held conversation with us the entire time while waiting for our financing to go through. When I started getting hungry, he brought me something to eat and drink! He went above and beyond for us, and I couldn’t appreciate him more! I was very pleased with Heather & George. I had called and spoken to Heather the day before and told her which vehicle I was looking at purchasing. She had the vehicle waiting under the front carport ready for my inspection. After driving the vehicle her and her manager, George, worked to find me the best deal available. We were in and out in a little less than two hours. I love the fact that the dealership has a play area for the kids equipped with a TV and DVD player. They had coffee & water bottles on hand for refreshments in the showroom. The only opportunity area I can point out based on this visit is the fact that there was a salesman eating his lunch on the showroom floor. Something like this should be done in a break room. It made the entire showroom smell like chicken wings, which smelled GREAT, but I dont think it is the place for an employee to eat their lunch. It was not very professional. I also purchased the extended warranty at the time of purchasing the vehicle. It was not explained that the warranty has a deductible. I understand how these things work but for someone who is ignorant to this type of insurance it may come as a big surprise when they have to use the coverage. All in all, I had a great experience at Classic Honda of Midland.

Ive bought two vehicles from classic Honda so far, both times Ive had exceptional experiences! My salesman was Christopher Rodriguez, hes the guy to see ! I basically gave him a list of what I wanted price wise, vehicle type, and he made it happen . The staff is really nice as well ! Mark porter was very helpful as well ! Very friendly and not very pushy sales team! Haggling over price wasnt a battle and they even put one of those nifty giant red bows on the new vehicle and took our picture.Not sure where that picture is. Cesar G. along with the rest of the crew at Classic Honda Midland were polite and quick to respond from the very beginning. My wife and I found a good deal on their website and within a few hours we were down at the dealership picking up our (new to us) vehicle. Cesar thoroughly walked us through the details of the vehicle and completed the sale without any hiccups. We were pleasantly surprised on how effortless and transparent the entire process went.
