Interesting place. Big space with a lot of odds and ends. Imagine a place like TJ Maxx but not fancy.Some things are cheap, some seem overpriced. I think it changes frequently.

This store has some really good deals.They have furniture, mattresses, home decor, food, cleaning supplies, clothing and more. I ended up buying some very reasonably priced area rugs, blankets, and toys for the kiddos.Definitely be back!

I love shopping here. However the last two times I have went have not been good experiences. I had a cashier act extremely rude to me because there wasn’t a tag on the item. I even said “I’m sorry I looked for another one and couldn’t find it”. He slammed it down and rolled his eyes. It was very uncomfortable. Then the next time I went the buggy’s are so crammed together not one would come out, I finally got one out and it was so tied up with strings that it wouldn’t push. So I got another one to come out and it was the same way. I tried yet again to get another buggy and couldn’t pull them apart. I walked out and left.

This place was awesome. If Gabes, Home Goods and TJ Maxx came together this would be the result. Good deals on a variety of merchandise. Got some great throw pillows for half of what the run at a regular store.Will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Had never been in one, great staff, great selection of items and some hard to find it discontinued items. But the reason of this review is one of the employees that exceeded my expectations, especially with the Covid-19, Allison Mills is very professional and great with people. Will definitely be back. The name of the store is misleading. While they stock items that might not be available in other local stores, an Internet price check of several items convinced me their prices might not be the bargains I expected to find. Ill bargain hunt elsewhere.

I will never ever go back here. At the checkout line got accused of stealing was asked if they could look into my bag. Even after they figured out I had not taken still didnt get an apology

Store is big and spacious, you keep it very clean and orderly, the aisles are nice and wide and the inventory changes continuously whether you mind that or you like it. They have good prices on most things.

A great place to find bargains but sometimes it does require some searching. I really like this store but it could be organized a little better. Other than that though its a great store. Customer service has always been good as well.

It is a second hand store, that sell some great price for the guilty. It is a hit and miss place. I do recommend this store for the price and products. I will give it a 3 1/2 Star.

A pretty cool place. Everything is bit out of sorts but organized into sections. Hence the name bargain Hunt, you Hunt through the shelves to find a cool item at a good price. It can be hit or miss but I always enjoy my visit. The staff is friendly

I felt it wasnt to much of a bargain I get to the register guy says 37 I gave him 40 then turns around and says 47 so tells me wrong not sure if Ill go back

I never saw a bargain here. Their prices was about the same as if you were to buy it from somewhere that sold the product you were looking at .

When it says Bargain Hunt thats what it means you have to hunt for a bargain I did find a couple as overall I did not like the store

Pricing is hit or miss, but when theyre good, theyre really good.

Not that many choices. And for a bargain store prices were pretty high.

Basically a warehouse of overstock, returns, bulk buys and more where you can sometimes find great deals on food, clothing, electronics, furniture, car stuff, yard stuff, pool stuff, toys, bedding, and more. It is a true hunt for bargains. You need to either know or be willing to do some research to see if you are getting a good deal. Do not assume that their prices are truly bargains. However, there are sometimes really great deals. They do accept returns in 30 days with receipt. They do offer a warranty on the electronics. The staff is generally pretty friendly and helpful. I try to get there a couple of times a month.

Terrible customer service. One cashier operating and six people in line. Other employee mindlessly working away instead of opening another lane to move people more quickly. Couldn’t care less. Sad this is the state of customer service here. Management should take notice.

Their prices have gotten quite high

There is just an AMAZING selection of everyday household necessities, insane prices on clothes (including an excellent selection of plus sizes), toiletries, personal care products, even electronics! My latest trip needs included laundry detergent, a 1 Gal size bottle of Gain Hawaiian Aloha for $12!! As well as toilet paper, 36 ct double rolls of Angel Soft at $12!!! These alone are an absolute necessity, and such a great Bargain!!

This store used to be great. I started shopping here a couple years ago when they had their dates discount system and I was able to find countless items for great prices. Since they went away with the dates everything is just flat out overpriced. I still go in regularly in hopes I can find great deals again. A week ago I went in and saw an item that caught my eye. It was priced at $6, which was a really good price. However, I decided not to purchase that day. Three or four days later I was in again and noticed a yellow sticker on the item, (yellow stickers mean the item has been discounted) but when I looked closer this new sticker said $9 and that it had been discontinued by 25%. This is just beyond irritating.The only great thing about the store is the staff. They all seem wonderful and polite every time I go in there. They seem to not care too much about the prices, because if there is an item missing a tag theyll usually give a really good price for it.Hopefully one day they will go back to their date discount system and be worth 5 stars again.Update: I have continued to shop there since I wrote the above and the pricing is a bit better and I’ve been able to find some good bargains, I just really had to hunt for them. The clothing is absolutely unorganized and just a huge overwhelming mess to go through. Overall though it still is not as great as it was when they used the date system.

Store is not like it used to be. When they changed the date system, Bargain Hunt changed and is more like a cheap Big Lots or Ollie’s, but at higher prices. Used to be in there 4-5 times a month, now maybe 4-5 times a year...

We strolled this store for about 15 minutes before heading off to dinner.Bargain Hunt has some very nice items at reduced prices, but nothing was as cheap as I expected. Thats because most of the items Bargain Hunt sells seem to be higher quality, name brand items.For instance, Bargain Hunt has a selection of pillows. I think the cheapest price I saw was around $12. I can go to the Walmart across the street and buy a brand new pillow for $5. But, the Bargain Hunt pillow is probably a better brand and (presumably) better quality.Bargain Hunt had a REALLY comfy recliner for sale for around $650 (reduced from $1500). Im sure its a really nice, high quality recliner. But you can get recliners new on Amazon for a few hundred dollars.The staff is nice. The store is clean. You will find plenty of bargains at Bargain Hunt, but they probably wont be the cheapest place you can find any given item.

I cant say enough about this store!! This particular review will come from my top notch experience today with Taylor (P.M. manager) Not only did I score some great sale items, she went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. A few essential pieces were missing in self assembly items I purchased and Taylor quickly helped me load them inside and make a return. She was very easy to talk with and I could tell she was cared about her customers. Her hospitality and professionalism will not be forgotten I will absolutely be back!

No matter when, we always find something we need at a price that cant be beat. So, its now our go to store. If they dont have what you need today, try again tomorrow.

Bargain Hunt will match prices or beat prices of products if found cheaper at other major retail chains. There may be some exceptions. Also, be sure to have proof of the price that matches the identical model/item you are purchasing. Take a look at the bottom of your receipt for their price match policy.

Ive only been in 2 but this one is disgusting!! I have been in Thrift stores nicer than this!! Clothing is all jumbled together, other items thrown on shelves, no structure whatsoever. They have nightclothes mixed with dresses and shirts, sweaters, jackets all together. I also had the unfortunate opportunity to visit the bathroom, filthy, no paper towels, commodes not working and or not flushing! I walked past the furniture on my way out, looks as though people have been sleeping on the sofas. Dirty, trash, mussed pillows. No, no, no, aint gonna shop there again!

Highly recommended visiting this place, great clothes brand new with great prices. They also have other items with good deals, sometimes you gotta do a little picking through, but a lot of great deals. They have clothes, household products, tools, furniture, food and many other items.

Nice store had some pretty good deals if you take the time to look. Could use a little more organization IMO but I guess hunting is half the fun. Its worth going and checking out!

Great Prices

Bargain Hunt is pretty much the best spot in Johnson City to watch for great deals on a wide variety of things. The staff members have also been really helpful, too.

I love coming here and see what kind of neat stuff they have. They have variety of things from clothes to furniture, from toys to car stuff. And They have some package food too, like chips and tea. Normally, their prices are really good, but for some things, its okay.. This place is worth going to.Ps: I kind of miss their old system where it goes by the date. The longer they item sit on the shelf or hanging, the cheaper it is. But overall, still a pretty cool place to go to.

Kind of like a yard sale on steroids. You never know what you might find. Kind of fun to just look around from time to time.
