Great place to go for “Fun” this place not only has all your hobby stuff, but on Saturday night at 6 pm opens it’s doors at the back of the entry hall to host a Warhammer 40K group to play. Josh runs it for the store he is THE BEST, a literal walking codex. Mathew and others help when they are there but Josh is why I shop and play here with 5 other stores closer to my house. Far and above every place else, I don’t know who runs this company store but a raise and promotion is in order… for Josh

Neat hobby store! Variety of models, paints, and toys. They had a 3D printer in house and took the time to explain how it worked for me and I also picked up an Alumilite mini casting kit there. They answered all my questions and then some!

They are always helpful and keep a good inventory.Over the 0hone you usually jave to wait a bit for RC help but once they are on the phone, they are very helpful.Buy face to face if at all possible!!!

I was able to pick up some good equipment for building models. At great for at a great price what makes. Even though had an old airbrush looked at. They even have stuff for remote control vehicles. I saw stuff for trains. People are helpful and friendly easy to talk to and understand what youre trying to say.

Interesting store and great specialty store for those involved in the arts and hobbies they provide. Still could be more variety but its a niche store so I get it. However after being greeted at the door was never asked for help again. Definitely worth a look for kids and rc enthusiasts or train folks

Hobby Town USA is a great shop! Upon arrival into the store I was greeted by an overwhelmingly rad selection of all things model.This store literally has something for everybody, and I would recommend it to anyone.The selection of r.c planes is perfect, they have just what you need to safely learn to fly r.c. planes without wasting a ton of money.Then there is the trains..... ah.. yes..trains.... They have too much amazing stuff for most sizes in model railroading.I found some epic boxcars and hoppers here, as well as great engines and scenery pieces I dont see in a lot of model railroad shops.If r.c. cars is your jam, this place has you covered, and they even have very knowledgeable techs for r.c. that can troubleshoot and diagnose any problems you may be having with your R.C. car or truck.The staff is knowledgeable and willing to help you with any questions you may have, so just ask them whatever youre thinking.So yeah, I totally think if you need hobby stuff, this is your place near Johnson city.

For the most part, they have everything you need for hobbies. Puzzles, 3D puzzles, loads of model kits, plenty of tools and paint. I cant say Ive been through the whole shop, just the aisles for model building, and they have a decent supply! Id definitely check them out before Hobby Lobby. Lots of gundum, cars and planes, some other anime kits too. If theyd just carry Zoids itd be perfect!

There is a great motorcycle shop within this store. They have quite a bit of stuff: helmets, chaps, gloves, Sterling Silver jewelry, stickers/ patches, handlebar whips, key chain whips, accessories and more.

Love this place. I bought the Rustler r/c truck with an extra battery. I had a sales staff listen to what I wanted and he made several suggestions for me to choose from. This truck is fast, fun and throws dirt and rocks everywhere. Thank goodness for getting the second battery, because after the first one slowed down I didnt want to wait to have even more fun. Thanks guys, you all are awesome.

Great place for rc cars and planes. Loads of modeling parts and accessories with many models your gonna find what youre looking for here. Kids love this place and it has many adult toys too. Prices are comparable to other local stores and the staff has good knowledge about the products they sell there.

This is the best miniature gaming store in Johnson city! They gave a great gaming space which is always available during store hours, as well as after hours must Saturday nights. They have fantastically painted terrain and realm of battle boards as well.They gave a huge R/C selection and service, as well as trains, games models and more!

Great selection of hobby activities. Staff was not very friendly and didnt offer to help, I had to ask for help with a purchase. The store was not busy at the time so I think it was just a personal choice to not help. Either way, the hobby items they have are very high quality and will have a premium price. My best suggestion is to try to find it cheaper online.

Ive been wanting to go into this store for a very long time. There was always something that prevented it! Then when I had the time, Id actually forget about it!!!! Today, I FINALLY got to go inside!!! This place has so much stuff that I couldnt begin to list it all!!! We really loved the different things they have available for kids!!! The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars, it doesnt have a section for markers, pens, colored pencils, etc... But, Michaels has these in abundance! Anyways, the store has drones, planes, trains and telescopes galore! Awesome place, just a little pricey.

This is the biggest HobbyTown USA I have ever been to. They have everything! Multiple scales of trains and accessories. Doll house furniture, RC cars, jigsaw puzzles, science kitsch, and more. I wish I wasnt 5 hours away!

Sure you can get it at Amazon cheaper, but this is a living breathing store with helpful people who make a living making your hobby a reality. Ive been shopping at Hobbytown USA for years and always will. If we dont stop the rampant monopolizing of retail by Amazon stores like these will cease to exist. Amazon has its place, but experts in RC, model building, board games and model railroading will never be important to Amazon.Mark Winters
